TRUE CRIME PLAYLIST: • True Crime Body Language
Nicola Bulley, 45, vanished in Lancashire whilst walking her dog. The 45-year-old mum vanished on January 27 after dropping off her two daughters at school in St Michael's on Wyre, Lancashire, reports the Mirror. Her boyfriend, Paul Ansell has become a suspect for many armchair detectives of true crime. Our top experts in body language and human behavior are weighing in on whether or not Ansell should be considered the prime suspect in this case. Do they think he's been truthful about his involvement in the situation? Who do you think is responsible in this mystery around Nicola Bully? Are you still convinced that Paul Ansell is involved?
Police immediately launched a search operation but so far there have been no sightings.
Her phone, still connected to a Teams call for her job as a mortgage adviser, was found on a bench on a steep riverbank overlooking the water, along with the dog lead, with the dog harness on the ground. Officers believe that Nicola fell into the river, but since there is nothing to confirm this theory so far, they said they remain open-minded.

How many commenters even watched? The Behavior Panel has made two (very!) objective videos that probably encouraged thousands to hold off from baseless judgement of this man and understand the MANY reasons why someone’s body language may seem odd-reasons that lie outside of guilt. They are not using absolutes, making statements about evidence, or speculating. And yet, here is a comment section full of two camps. One is full of people claiming this video is somehow unfair to the family (despite it being the only one I’ve seen encouraging objectivity and rationale out there). The other is saying, “Nah, he’s guilty, I sEe iT iN hIs EyEs!” Honestly. Mainstream news media is more exploitative and accusatory on a massive scale. If you want to find something baseless to complain about, head there. These guys are professionals who probably prevented thousands from prejudging this husband, who is likely in mourning, in shock, and possibly medicated as many people who experience these life events are in the first few weeks. The only thing the Panel did was explain why this man is not necessarily guilty and explain why some of the behaviors people are jumping on him for are, actually, completely normal. Presuming his innocence, this is the OPPOSITE of harmful media. It is encouraging people to pause before judgement-nothing else. It isn’t even saying he’s innocent-just, “We don’t see clear signs of guilt according to our specific area of expertise. But we aren’t mind readers.” This case has been of extremely high public interest, and this is the only video I’ve seen that is even remotely fair. If no one should even mention the case at all, because it’s “too soon”-why are YOU here watching?! This is one of the few cases happening in real time that the Panel has been able to cover-and they used the opportunity incredibly well to prevent undue judgement towards a likely innocent and grieving man. Well done to them. Anyone coming across this video was clearly seeking info about this case, and had they landed on almost any other thumbnail would had been fed speculative rumor, rather than an education on how to carefully observe the very real human standing before you. This video says, “Let’s calm down and think.” If someone thinks THAT is what should be censored, despite being here on this video themselves, they’re a hypocrite.

This is a wise, kind comment. But I believe these smart, knowledgeable commentators are not in full awareness of the fact that every other video shows us what to look for, but now says don't a-p-p-l-y. Its being smart and diplomatic, and just hard for regular watchers to swallow. Also, it turns out that the one important point to remember is that a guilty person throws the narrative at something else in order to avoid being looked at more closely. Um, as it turns out, he threw the police, public in the direction of the VICTIM! She's "high risk" has "vulnerabilities", she jumped in the river, knowing people are coming and going right in front/behind the bench all day, and there's at least 4-5 people all w/in shouting distance! If that's not a clue, just exactly what is? So, no interest in her partner, guilty or not; slinging mud because a woman is going through a difficult time and is also "reported, but no evidence of, an alchy , is to my mind reprehensible, if not a dirty birdie and very possibly a guilty one. Do you see? It's like art, if most people think a piece of music/painting etc is wonderful, it probably IS.💃🤗

I don't fully agree with these panelists in looking at Paul's behaviour using body language. Paul drew up on Bully in his descriptive view as if in past tense ,it's what his partner's emotional character used to mean to him maybe.... (she resonated as a personal comforter for him once). But something had changed that emotional dynamic within that relationship. My conclusion. . .. I feel that he has consciously disassociated himself from whatever did take place on the day of her being missing. Either that or all of this is totally fake .

Was she abducted and is being held against her will? Was she was seeing someone and they ran off together? All those thoughts would definitely lead to frustration, anger, doubts, hopelessness, etc... None of this story makes sense. We we originally told that she was a happy, healthy, family lady who held down a job and took her children to school and walked the dog. They were pushing the narrative that she must have fallen in the river or had been abducted/foul play. Now we are being told she suffered from severe menopausal symptoms and was an alcoholic who possibly wanted to kill her self or simply run away. Very different pictures! Were we sold the first picture as they thought the public wouldn’t take so much interest in a troubled soul? However, if she was the second picture, how was she still holding down a job, taking the kids to school and walking the dog? Why would her partner be happy with her driving the kids to school if she was a drunk? Such a strange turn around and such inconsistencies!! Could it be that it is to Paul’s advantage that she’s seen as a dysfunctional woman who would run off or harm herself?!!! Also, why does he assume she not in the river? Does he want them to stop looking in the river? If so, why?

Initial reports often come from people and media who have spoken to friends and neighbours, who may have had no idea about her issues, *OR* were trying to protect her and her family, *OR* just didn't want to be seen to be saying something nasty about Nicola, *OR* didn't really know her that well at all. You cannot latch on to one statement, there are always numerous conflicting reports in every incident. Clearly the police knew the situation from the outset, which is why they were sure it is not a crime. It really is time for the internet sleuths to shut up. As a mom, I instantly thought, that’s what we all moms do, when we have somewhere to go/someone to met. You can’t afford being a minute late, so you run your household like a team leader for nasa to get the morning working. I think she was meting someone on the walk… it’s weird she wouldn’t tell him about it, but could it be she was meting someone to arrange something for him, hence she didn’t tell him. Sharing thoughts that make sense that are not intended to harm Nicola's reputation or her family are completely fine and it's only natural to brainstorm for possible answers to such a troubling case... It's because we care... We would hate for something like this to happen to one of our own, it's awful..... So let's not get personal with one and other and not turn this discussion into something ugly... and let common sense and known facts guide us.... How many dog-lovers loved Chase "straying" off the human behavioural path to dabble in dog psychology? I remember in one episode seeing Chase's dog ranging around in the background; I think it was a Belgian Malinois. Does anyone know if they used a tracking dog to find her? I live in Canada; there was a woman killed in North Bay and a bloodhound was flown-up from the southern US (where all good bloodhounds surely live, lol!) and the dog walked straight from the victim's side door, along a sidewalk covered in snow (this is North Bay), and right up to the killer's side door. This was 3 weeks later - with snow on the ground! Their tracking ability is nearly supernatural.

Less than 5 mins knowledge. But I noticed a strange expression on husband's face, and straight up it did not match his words. was it contempt? No. Starting at 13:44 pause start pause start pause start thru to 13:48, most notably 13:47 & 13:48, whilst expressing the loss of Nicola & what that means " left a huge hole....." he is smiling !! Very suttle, his eyes express it & his mouth, suttle for sure. Their is no other emotion their, no sadness, no concern, no stress. Dupers Delight Folks !! Imo

As it turns out, not only that, but took very seriously what he told them about her "vulnerabilities" on the day she went missing, so much so they spent 3weeks following that up w/£, a large force of police, volunteers primarily focused on the River Wyer because she was a"high risk" for..... suicide! Now, the story begins to take on a tinge of ludicrously preposterous possibilities. And the heck w/her risk for suicide, she's out there somewhere wanting to come home, perhaps watching TV, waiting...u should feel sorry for the police, much more so now that the obvious has dawned on them all, it's too late!

@@bebobaba7118 but who made that call, allegation? Maybe he set it up? Wouldn't be the first time; it's something many a disgruntled "partner" has done before and before the (partner) victim has gone missing, is it not? All the comments/diversionary discussions about her "issues" now has to be something intended, because she didn't off herself in that river after all. What can he say, everything must be checked, every house, building, cars trucks blah, blah - it's a little late after giving the police NOT TO. Oh, and putting it out there she could be alive, sad, drunk, lost wanting to come home! Classic. What is coming next from this guy when people wake up to the fact 3weeks were spent going down the rabbit hole of "private" vulnerabilities? My guess is somebody is going to lawyer up when the big boys join the party, which I think has to happen now.🤗

Clearly Paul did not believe the newly disclosed so called mental health "vulnerability" had any bearing on Nicola's morning time disappearance. Perhaps Paul even felt that disclosing this issue to Peter would both distract & prejudice the searchers against her. That morning Nicola drove her car, dropped the kids off, spoke w another parent, walked w the dog, acknowledged other dog walking folks she knew along the way, set up a play date,* wrote an email to her boss,* logged into a conference call,* and I wonder, has anyone that she interacted with that day claimed she was impaired, off balance, acting strange? IMO, whomever released the information about Nicola's "vulnerability" only did so to use it as a fig leaf, so they can hide all of their own many failings behind it. To allow them to resign would be too kind, sack them & keep them far away from any future police work, especially missing persons investigations. *These activities are not the actions of someone who is suicidal.

Where is the button to show that I agree, *emphatically* ? AuntiJen correctly noted several things your average suicide would never do. I'd add your average ersatz ' active addiction depressed alcoholic in exacerbation' (or whatever demeaning garbage they made up with the admitted purpose of making their job easier) also does not do those things. They paint her like a character with the sad flair of Gone With The Wind, flinging away reason and rushing dramatically into the river into two feet of water to end it all, as do women in the dread menopause. Where's the booze bottle? Logging into a TEAM call scheduled for 0900 *at* 0900 is exactly what someone in Alcoholic Standard Time would not do. They've standards. And yes, exactly Chase, speak in A code. Did she keep the coat on because suicide is unpleasant but at least she'd be warm? Or fling it off in which case we missed a big clue. So rationally she kept it on. I know she's a strong swimmer but running into the river in a big progressively wet puffy long coat, there is going to be lot of drag immediately. I swim well but its hard in blue jeans, much less moving with a soggy long puffy jacket. Just absurd and ugly and utterly unnecessary.
