Why our Rover P6 is called 'Dizzy' - from a previous video I had to delete due to copyright strike

Had to recently take down a video - this was part of it, so for the channel viewers it won't make sense me calling the car 'Dizzy' without putting this snippet back online. #classiccar #classiccarshow #classiccars #petrolheads

Thats a brilliant name for her and a gorgeous example you have there. I always thought that almond was a really nice match for the P6 body shape.

Thanks! We like all the P6 colours but wanted a shade which you don't see on modern cars to emphasise the 1970's - so nice as they are the red, blue, white etc were a 'no' for us. There's a 'short' video on her tonight and then a big car show which we went to airing this Saturday.

Copyright strikes are something I try to avoid. That's why I usually mute the part where music is appearing and replacing it with a song from the KZread Audio Library. Interesting story about the name. About some other cars I also noticed it with a hint about the license plate. But about Dizzy I didn't know - but so of course it makes sense.

How did it not pick up a copyright issue at the point of uploading? So this notification came down some time later?

Yes, it was very unfortunate Glyn - when the original video was live I was contacted asking to take it down as a 'complaint' had been received about it. Not wishing to offend (this is only a hobby after all) I just complied without arguing. Shame, the video was doing well at over 1500 views. But at least (as I've now learnt so worth remembering if this ever happens to you) that if you set to 'Private' rather than actually deleting, the viewing numbers remain in your grand total for the channel which at least is something.
