If they break up with you and this method works, then she's a narcissist and isn't worth a second chance. If she doesn't come back to you, it means she cheated/had her mind elsewhere entirely and you didn't notice it. So really, that shows this is really the only thing to do. If it's a healthy relationship, you should be able to work together, talk about it, figure out what needs to happen. The second it becomes this power game/one side deciding something without communicating, then it shows the disrespect. Walk away.

My bf broke up with me a week and a half ago. I was devastated and felt like I had lost a huge part of me. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, I could barely function, I threw up multiple times a day because the thought of actually losing him made me sick. We work at the same place. He avoided eye contact and seemed fine whenever I saw him. I’ve always been the type to beg for him to stay. I loved him more than I ever loved anything in this world. I started watching these videos. At times they seemed to really help, but others it was hard. I went through a week of no contact and boy was it the hardest week of my life. But he came back today, telling me he couldn’t sleep, he was very unhappy, this was very hard for him. I told him he seemed fine and he wouldn’t even look at me. He said he couldn’t because when he did, he pictured me with someone else and it killed him. We talked and he asked me to give him just a little more time to be sure. I agreed. I have hope that we will sort this out soon. I believe in the saying that two people have to fall apart in order to fall back together even stronger.

Man. A few months ago I was out of work and my ex wasn't talking to me at all past eating. So I went back to Texas for a few months. And when I came back she ended the Relationship. U need to do wat i did move on and never look back he never loved u in the first place learn to love yourself and have standards. That is something a "NARCISSIST" would do.

I broke up with her and blocked her. I had hinted her before. She was afraid that I might leave her. But still her behavior changed only slightly. Then one night I broke up with her and blocked her. She must have got to know in the morning. I am in no contact. I am still friend with our common friends. No talk. Business as usual.

She contacted me today by text and I didn’t answer so she called, but I was being short of conversation then politely got off the phone she then called me back seconds later asking what’s wrong I told her nothing I’m just handling things and she wanted to talk more. We spoke for about 2 mins then hung up. Don’t know how it’s going to play out but I’m staying strong and will not be contacting her at all. If I mean anything she will contact me.

My story. She wanted a brake after a argument so I said " I think it's a good idea " it's been one week She hasn't contacted me yet, she deleted her social media account. I have some moments wen I want to reach out , but I keep telling mi self No. How needs to initiate contact and how long until I should give up and move on?

So I was dumped and then she broke no contact after 3 days, I made the mistake of telling her how much I missed her and how I realized what I did wrong, a week went by and she told me she can’t have me in her life. Again I am in a no contact situation where she is still keeping up with my Snapchat and instagram but not talking to me and I haven’t talked to her. Are my chances ruined because I let her know how much I missed her after the first break if no contact? @@opusandtarquez I was with this girl for 2 months (she said we were "talking") and she removed me off snapchat the day she ghosted me, a month later of no contact, I reached out to ask her how's she doing. She's involved with school, etc. Took a day to reply to me, I did the same back. Told her if she wanted to catch up sometime, to reach out as a bit of closure for me, (letting her know the door still open but I'm not gonna chase). She took read receipts off. Week later, I posted a picture of me on insta, a nice selfie by the beach, she liked it. 3 weeks later, she removed me off facebook as friend and I don't even go on facebook. Next week, I posted on twitter about passing 2 certs in my job field within 2 months, got good support from my buddies from it and she liked my tweet. It's been a week now and I don't understand why she removes me off those two platforms and continues to like my stuff? I've been in no contact for 1.5 months since.

Also: As embarrassing as it is I would love you guys to hear my story. You are going to think I am making this shit up but it's the truth. Me and the mother of my child have had an on an off relationship for 8 years. It's been pretty tumultuous but we really loved each other. I know we loved each other but we both really fucked up. We both cheated many times and I have even put my hands on her but our love was unconditional. Recently, in July I had covid. Me, her and my daughter lived together and I thought it was best for them to leave so they wouldnt get it. They stayed at a hotel for a few days and the mother of my child ended up getting it. My parents came and got my daughter. My ex said she was going to be with friends and staying with them. Little did I know, for 5 weeks she was in Colorado with her ex girlfriend she had previously after we broke up for 2 years. She came back to Florida after her vaction and told me that I needed to leave (I think she didnt want to have me around so she wouldnt cheat on her girlfriend she had been cheating on me with) mind you both of our names are on the lease but I pay for everything so I left . The past 2 weeks I did everything a man shouldnt do. I begged, I cried, I pleaded. She wouldnt change her mind. I wish I wouldnt have done that, you dont do that especially when you have been absolutely fucked over in every way possible. I texted her and called her relentlessly for days and she wouldnt change her mind. Today was my last day trying. I told her today that I respected her decision and goodluck. It's super hard to move on from the mother of my child but I have to. After all our relationship wasnt amazing,we both had many problems in it and she flew to Colorado to cheat. You gotta have respect for yourself and know when to walk away. When someones mind is made up. There is pretty much nothing you can do or say.

I understand this concept. But I would like to ask a very specific question

Need some help. My ex reached out 2 weeks ago saying that she missed talking to me. We exchanged a few texts and I told her I had to go but asked when she was free to talk. She told me she wasn’t sure but would like to and would let me know the next day. She reached out a few days later asking when I was available. I didn’t answer cause I was sleeping. Started doing it yesterday, followed by a message formatted by my therapist about recognizing the problems in my behavior etc. Apologizing, laying out my goals and working on things that she needed from me, I did mention fixing the relationship in that message, maybe it was the wrong move and sounded needy.
