Man is created to praise, reverence, and serve God our Lord, and by this means to save his soul. And the other things on the face of the earth are created for man and that they may help him in prosecuting the end for which he is created. From this it follows that man is to use them as much as they help him on to his end, and ought to rid himself of them so far as they hinder him as to it. For this it is necessary to make ourselves indifferent to all created things in all that is allowed to the choice of our free will and is not prohibited to it; so that, on our part, we want not health rather than sickness, riches rather than poverty, honor rather than dishonor, long rather than short life, and so in all the rest; desiring and choosing only what is most conducive for us to the end for which we are created.

imo Rich, I disagree with the fact that only 300 pounds guys that still live in their basement with their mother are the only ones sexless. If it was like that, the situation would be much less dramatic. Rich, I'm a 5,9 average looking guy, thin, I'm 22 still in college, and the problem is that women look me down so much because of their delusional mindset. Like, the problem now is that being avarage or even above avarage is not enough for competing on the market, women are so spoiled and want to date up so much that an avarage guy is automatically below avarage in their head. And I'm not talking about extremely good-looking girls that are out of my League, I'm talking about avarage women that always expect too much from men, especially in their 20s. Like, what are we supposed to do, wait for our 30s/40s to have sex just because of the fact that I'll be financially stable(hopefully), like these girls expect a 20 year old to be the s***. I believe that this is due to social media that have created unrealistic expectations for women.

So true. I married later in life (29 y/o). I grew up blue-pilled with a Disney perception of marriage (man meets woman, falls in love, gets married, lives happily every after). I made a very poor choice for a wife (single mom). It lasted less than 3 years. I describe it as misery interrupted by moments of happiness. Have been single ever since. Modern women are broken. I guess I am just destined to be single. I don't ever get lonely (especially now that I am red-pilled and understand female nature) but at times, it sucks to be alone. At 50+, I can't imagine trying to find a wife in times we are living.

My father told me once to never buy something that depreciates, always lease it. Why would a man get married when there is, at best, only a 50 percent change of making it and then when she leaves she gets half of everything and you only get to see your kids once every 2 weeks. Lease it until it gets a few miles and then lease another one.

Why do people NOT understand that legal marriage is both a committment, a responsbility, and a set of legal PROTECTIONS. there is a lot of benefits to being married beyond the good feels, specifically being able to hold each other's secrets and next of kin decision making among others. Ignoring these is stupid, cause when they come up, you will be grateful for them. Not saying marriage is for all, but stop thinking of this as a trap....its not.

I despise cheating so much I’m actually terrified of even getting married. As a woman! I’ve been single my whole life and actually a virgin by choice, mostly cause I don’t want to be a 304. This world is just awful. Cheating hurts so much. It ruins families, it traumatizes ppl. Idk marriage is no longer a priority and it sucks because I always dreamed about being a good wife and good mother and being with one man my whole life but I really don’t know anymore 😢

Most men I know that cheating end up leaving their wives and children to go and live a new life with the side chick. The thing is men spend ALOT of time entertaining the side chick. They text a lot, they lie a lot to go see them, it’s like what’s the point if the man will take so much time away from the wife and kids?? My father wouldn’t even pay attention to us because he was so entertained with side chicks. For this it is necessary to make ourselves indifferent to all created things in all that is allowed to the choice of our free will and is not prohibited to it; so that, on our part, we want not health rather than sickness, riches rather than poverty, honor rather than dishonor, long rather than short life, and so in all the rest; desiring and choosing only what is most conducive for us to the end for which we are created

Modern day "marriage" is not biblical marriage. When women are encouraged to ditch their husband by financial incentives, society, even friends from church, it's just not the same as what marriage has been historically. Today, it's destruction of the family unit at the foundation. Not healthy for society.

I believe that the only reason a person should get married is for the purpose of starting a family because I believe in the "nuclear family unit" and children need to be raised in a 2 person household which means a Mommy & Daddy. So, the next step was the potential possibility of marriage. Then, that thought quickly disappeared from my mind for if she acts the way she does before marriage I wondered what it would be like after marriage. NONE ! They start parting at the age of 20's and time goes so fast and all of sudden they find themselves 35 years old , no investment no stability etc. So men try to rebound what they have done wrong at their 20's but its late and women of course in short way trying to find a computer nerd IT guy who he never had luck with any woman and now she doing a favor to him and marry him but while dating the beta and make the beta wait they go and serve themselves to a guy who pulls her hair and give her eye-rolls. Many young women these days are unstable, because they've been encouraged to sleep around. And an attractive young women can stack up bodies like there's no tomorrow, because all they have to do is open their legs and men will come swarming like bees to honey. Men on the other hand have to play the game right to get with a chick, and they're up against very stiff competition. So if a guy has a high body count, they brag about it and people look at them with awe. Men with high body counts are seen as chads, and women are seen as sluts. Neither is good or healthy though. Men get cocky and feel like they can do anything they want, and women get messed up in the head and get depressed. Either one, won't last long in a long term relationship, let alone marriage. Unless they do some serious soul searching and change their ways.

But I think hardest part for a man is to do Gods will without the need of a women. Feminism pretty much socially engineered the women and a millennial generation that has gotten soft. The traditional marriage is dead. The only thing I got going is be alive everyday.

The problem with me is that when i get older and having better resources now, i start to commit infidelities outside.....having girlfriends and doing it. 😅 Muslim man could have 4 wives at the same time, so yes humans are not monogamous. Thats why its already being factored-in in the Islamic teachings. "Smart men dont get married".....i agree to that....but only for the western world. Bcos western women are damaged on the inside. A single man can live very cheaply without a wife and family. He doesn't have to work all hours doing a dangerous job he hates. He can afford to pick and choose when he works, for how long and in a job he enjoys. The downside to this is that governments are losing money via income tax. They are having to borrow money to pay for all the single mothers on welfare. In a few years society will see one half paying for the other. All men paying for all parasitic single motherrs. This is already happening in the US where men are being forced to pay child support for children that aren't even his! There is no legislation backing this up, only ( usually ) female judges making up laws as they go along.

Exactly! MGTOW is NOT anti-women. Its anti letting women control you and your life. It puts the MAN in the drivers seat. It asks - is the risk worth the benefit. The reason most MGTOW do not get married is because it is anathema to this doctrine. You are ceding control to the state - and to a woman who is supported by that same governing body. In countries where there is true equity in marriage - it may be an option but even then you are ceding control of your life to another person. That said - there are good women out there. I know. I had one born and raised in Central Asia. Passed away two years ago. I was lucky - most men today are not. At least in the west.
