Thats simply because why even get married, in the first place? Marriage does not benefit the men. And not at all. Therefore, if guys want to dive into their own grave. Well good luck!

Hafeez, you are using the exception to the rule argument. Sure, some marriages will end up happily ever after, but with a 50% divorce rate for 1st marriages, and of the other 50% 47% end up miserable then it is basically a 3% success rate. CGA gets the W here

The divorce industry industry needs to be held accountable. In the Nordic countries the marriage and divorce rates are the same as the rest of the world but men have guaranteed access to their children and alimony is fairly distributed. People don't go broke going through a divorce. Fix that and men will come back to the table, IF they're still interested.

💥💥 I just watched the documentary about this woman who hired a hitman to kill her husband so she can collect the life insurance, lucky for him his friend over her the conversation and informed him and the husband informed the police and the police and husband staged his death and they had his wife on camera laughing after they showed her the pictures of him being fake dead. She ended up getting like 20 years of prison. I don't see why anybody would want to get married when you have risks like that I would just not deal with that type of BS. There is exactly no benefit to a man getting married in today's age, women hold all the cards in everything. That's her house she's deciding what the kitchen look like she's going to decide what the bedroom look like she's going to decide what type of wall paper and cabinet you put in the bathroom etc She's going to decide what to buy during holidays heck she's going to decide if you celebrate Christmas you may be a guy who like myself is not even into celebrating holidays but I'm forced to celebrate it because she wants to celebrate it. Y'all go to the movies you mostly going to go and see what she wants to see. The man spends far more money in the relationship than the women does like I just don't see the benefit of marriage for men. And also when you get married you have less sex than a guy that's single because your wife dictates when she wants to have sex. Then there's the financial stability like me I'm a single man, I work two jobs all of my money from both of my jobs go to me and to me only. I don't have a wife I got to spend all my money on and I don't have kids that I got to spend all my money on. I'm sorry but I just don't see the benefit of a man in today's age getting married it makes no sense to me.

Marriage rates going down and that trend won't change any time soon, and the idea of guys being alone it's true, break ups, divorce anything and apart from being left alone there's also the element that people do tend to screw you over already adding to the whole disaster like a grenade with mini grenades inside of it. So it's definitely something to contemplate with utmost caution but hey some people say unicorns exist maybe... Just maybe... We could all find a unicorn. Bless

It’s heartbreaking that we don’t look at the emotional, spiritual, and maturity levels of what marriage requires. We don’t talk about how many people pick partners in the wrong way, we don’t talk about how God is not involved in any of the process but we expect it to work out. We don’t talk about the responsibility we play in relationship and marriages. A part of my career for the last 9 years is collecting data. With the data is always the “Why”. We have these results, we see these results, but WHY. Men and women both play a huge role in whether a marriage works out or not. Both parties have to be fully in it for the long haul. Unfortunately when people say “I do” they are not thinking about the distance. If the foundation sucks or it was faulty from the beginning, it will eventually fall apart. If the relationship was built on “faking it” and lies it will fall. If it was based on assumptions and unspoken expectations it will fall. Relationships are not randomly falling apart. There is always a cause.

I hope the man who spoke first has a marriage that lasts a lifetime. I really do, but one has to look at statistics. From what I have read, divorce rates are at or close to 50%. In Christian marriages, it is slightly less. One has to ask what the root issue is, and I assert it is because there is no longer a stigma around divorce like there used to be. It is far easier for someone to throw up their hands and file for divorce, and the lower earner (typically the wife in the past), usually gets taken care of for life, or for a significant amount of time. In 2023, there should be zero alimony paid to another person. High earners, realize that when you marry someone, you will be forced by family court to maintain their lifestyle, even if they cheat on you, spend all of your money without you knowing, etc. It is basically the state's way of forcing you to pay for your former partner's welfare. In my opinion, it isn't worth it to get married in the slightest.

When someone says "Let's Get Married" they are not saying, let's have a successful relationship or let's have True Love. They are saying Let's go to the court House and execute a legally Binding Contract regarding our financial assets and wealth THEN let's go to a venue and have a celebration party called a Wedding. You are legally combining all assets. That's why you need a CONTRACT.
