Beast of 666 yet her skill cooldown is 767, an L by lasengel to be sure.
Nero was the personification of self-worship
My beloved UMU turned evil😢 she barely says UMU as Draco
Nero being the anti-Christ is low key just blew my mind. Also can’t help but think those who made Fate/Extra chose Nero as one of the main characters for this reason. Especially considering Tamamo is also eligible to become a Beast as well
would love to see a berserker nero, showing what she was like during the end of her life
If they made Nero a girl for the connection with the beast 666 (a way to indicate emperor Nero) and the whore of Babylon and having it all in a single character, that was one hell of forward thinking
Now hold on now, Nero was not a terrible ruler, as more recent scholar research has portrayed that Nero just did not serve the court but rather was a Ruler for the people, and those of the Court hated that the Emperor wasn't serving them, so they wrote history to disgrace him. I think it's likely that the fires of Rome were started by some of Nero's enemies and they were the ones who spread the rumor of the fire, or at least chose blame Nero after freak accident happened. Nero was loved by the common people and the narrative that they were unhinged was likeky cooked up as part of his disgrace because of how eccentric he was.
Yeah so about the thing of Peter being crucified upside down as a mockery of Jesus's dead, the version most commonly accepted at least for Catholics is that Peter asked to be crucified that way because he didn't feel worthy of dying the same way jesus did
Her sword always did look very abstract
According to critical scholars: Early Christianity is sort like apocalyptic group, they believe that the end is near and God Very soon will overthrown the evil kingdom of rome with Godly kingdom. That why nero is appear in the Book of Revelation, that book talking about that particular time. It seem also apocalypticism is core of Historical Jesus teaching.
The 666 comes from “נרון קסר“, a hebrew transliteration of an alternate (greek iirc?) version of “Nero Caesar”.
My UmU can't be this evil.
There is a small issue regarding the parts of how John’s Revelations was “chosen” in part due to Roman Propaganda.
Her third ascension did not disappoint me. They really wanted her with that Imperial 90s punk rock style.
Man, history is crazy and metal as hell
That’s not even the most crazy thing about Beast 6 in the type-moon multiverse, but that it split itself into 4 different entities. There’s Nero/Mother Harlet as B6/S or Sodom, but B6/G, B6/L, and B6/R are completely unknown to us.
I love your historical, religious and folkloric research of Fate's lore! 💖
I'm a Christian, and this is new information for me even if it's the super cut version. I've never had a problem with historical discoveries giving more content to reasons for why or what the meaning was behind certain texts in the bible.
Disappointed nothing in the kit was named Whore of Babylon
Tldr: Early Christians depicted Nero as a wojak
