Just a FYI the Sakura AI was just that, an AI. She grew her own sense of ego and her own thoughts independent of her Base personality thus turning into BB and the Sakura Five. So Nah, BB’s excess love and craziness is all because she is a corrupted AI, not because of the Angra influenced Sakura.

Considering Kazuradrop's association with insects, I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say part of her Spirit Origin includes Xuanzang Sanzang, or rather Sanzang's aspect as the reincarnation of the Golden Cicada. As both were pure and holy beings and Sanzang sought to help bring enlightenment to humanity, it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that the corruption of Sanzang's pure ideal to better humanity was replaced with the simple compulsion to destroy them simply because they are imperfect beings.

Also, the Kazuradrop faced fairy in LB6 was actually one of her component (forgot the name). I'm still waiting until Kazuradrop is out in either FGO or Extra, not foxtail.

The FGO player base likely counts as a High Servant for the sheer amount of Degen stuff we do to these Characters.

Among the rock-paper-scissors trinity of BB clones, it's funny that Lip and Melty both have an ability that can wipe out entire armies/landscapes, meanwhile Protea is like "Hehe, size go brrrrr".

high servants as a concept are cool and an interesting way to get new servants plus like in the vid potential new narratives. Like Douman is such a crazy servant in concept

This has helped me understand high servants, as well as alter egos as a whole. Of course, I suppose this means it's unlikely we'll see a Jekyll/Hyde alter ego servant in the future, unless they decide to make it so he inherits aspects of other beings who may have alternate personalities...

Also, kazuradrop might have Ashta Lakshmi since she is the embodiment of value in every form like food, kids, victory, etc

Thank you so much for covering this topic. High servants was one of the few Concepts I was always confused about within the fgo community. So, your video really help me out with standing this concept. Now as for who could be a possible candidate for the insect deity that Kazuradrop could have an affiliation with, I think the likely candidate would be Beelzebub, the prince of gluttony and the lord of flies. He is the only known deity that I can think of that has a bug theme to him. Plus Kazuradrops desire to consume her sister and take of their Power in order to become a perfect being can be seen as gluttony since she's wanting something that she doesn't really need.

Itzpapalotl translates to "Obsidian Butterfly" and funny enough there are appearently people who think she's just an evil demon that eats people. Obviously Itzpapalotl, like pretty much all prehispanic deities, is *WAY* more complex than that. And thanks to the ancient Mexicas (Aztecs) *HEAVY* emphasis on the concept of duality in their cosmology, Itzpapalotl is just as much a godess connected to the heavens, the day and the sun; as she is a godess connected to the moon, the night, the earth and the underworld. Now obviously I don't expect an evil sadist like Ashiya Douman to have a complex duality be the focus of his character, because he's supposed to be just an unapologeticly evil dude like Kirei, and there's nothing wrong with that.

This suggestion should probably be put on hold until the next lostbelt on JP, but if you could talk about the Meso-American servants like Quetz and Jaguar that would be amazing

Insect deities i can think of is Ah-Muzen-Cab (Mayan God of Bees and Honey), Kephri.....and those are the only ones i can think off from the top of my head Edit: Hey Klidge, you forgot that KingProtea has a core. Her Giant body is a projection, her real body is human sized to a little girl height

The layers to Summer Kiara is peak Fate bs to me, in a good way of course. The fact that they managed to tie so many random things back into her core personality and character is amazing.

I'm not surprised if one of Kazuradrop's component is Konohana Sakuya (aka Konohanasakuya-hime) considering how Yukiko's Persona Konohana Sakuya can be evolved into Amaterasu in Persona 4 or Izanami (Amaterasu's mom) since she got a bunch of insects and maggots on her face (LOL). Edit: Also a reference how Kazuradrop is Tamamo's rival in the mats

I was going to suggest for you to make a grand servant video and prediction but I just saw your video on that haha. I would love to see a video on Musashi and her/his rivalry with Kojiro, as I loved it so much in Shimosa as well as the reference Kojiro makes in stay night. Also she is my fav servant! I also wanted to say that I love your videos regarding the Fate lore and real history, keep up the great work!

What I heard is that the reason Muramasa is not considered a high servant is because only his alter ego from is one because of the alien god, and so he is not one his regular saber form unlike the others.

brief explanation: she was the emperors concubine and was so beautiful/talented that she charmed him completely. It got to the point that he basically stopped doing his job as emperor. This obviously caused a lot of problems to arise, which included her cousin starting a small rebellion. After putting it down, the emperor was forced by his court to execute Yang Guifei as well even though she was innocent

@@MoonlightReaper14 Yeah, this is f up. But it is not a laughable matter when you love your wife causing your kingdom crash into downward spiral. Seems the emperor court noticed that and just convinced him to manage the country is ill-advised.

The way you explain High Servants sound more like Alter Egos than High Servants, because I’m pretty sure in Fate/Extella Link they classify both of that games version of Atoria and Scathach are classified as High Servants.

I don't want to be that guy, but I do think this correction should be noted. Kingprotea's Titania, is not Shakespeare's. The Titania in Kingprotea's profile is specifically noted to be Titania(Titan), as in it is the female term for a Titan in Greek Mythos. This is important to note due to information we're given about Shakespeare's Titania in LB6. Though it is interesting to note that Shakespeare did name Titania off the Greek term.

Hmm, we’d have to even see how much IS a retcon since they did a decent job of covering their tracks. Especially since most heroes, like Perseus, where left in the development stage and they have been cultivating the twist of the gods for a decade.

Can you do a behind the servants for both Koyanskaya's and the beast forms? 1) If you do can you explain the connection between Koyanskaya and Tomamo? 2) The meanings of her multiple names (Koyanskaya, Tomamo vitch, ...)? 3) Differences and connections between light and dark and between 1st and 2nd vs 3rd ascensions? (it got mentioned in my room dialogues that she's a different person at her 3rd ascension (not 100% sure)) 4) Who of the 2 (or both) is the one that appears in the story of Lostbelt. (Because of the 1st outfit of Koyanskaya of dark)? 5) And what is NFF services and what does it do and why does it exist? (and I'm at this moment at lb 3 it might get explained in the later chapters/Lostbelts and it is a bit confusing)

@@klidge Yeah the skill's text in full is "Apply Special Attack [Demonic] [Lv. #] (3 Turns) & Special Attack [Servants with Heaven or Earth Attributes (Except Pseudo-Servants and Demi-Servants)] [Lv. #] (3 Turns) for yourself" Though it should be noted that she also does bonus damage to Sitonai, as she's a High Servant... which means that's also an option though I doubt it

@@klidge well not really in a sense. Skadi was hidden inside the Spirit Origin of her. So technically it’s a case of Orion and Artemis all over again. It’s supposed to be Scathach, but Inside it’s all Skadi. I believe an upcoming servant follows the same concept (a divine spirit stealing the Spirit Origin of a Heroic Spirit to manifest as himself).

Have you thought of doing a Behind the Servants on the SaberFaces?

While a great video in general, I as a total extraverse nerd have a raging need to make some minor corrections regarding the Ages of the Sakura 5- while not ultimately important, I'm just someone with an obsession for details. Violet is actually the youngest, while King Protea is actually the oldest, despite their appearances- It's mentioned in Foxtail primarily *by* violet, if i remember correctly (haven't read the first half for a few months now), and BB in the CCC event rerun side story, if I remember right. But the order of creation was KP > Melt/Passionlip > Kazuradrop > Violet, if memory serves, for the Foxtail timeline. Not that this matters.

Onmyoji... now THAT was a fun gacha.

So Arash is a difficult one because his legend is about a page in length. There's unfortunately not much to it. However! I still want to cover him so he'll be in a multi servant video, probs with other bronze/silvers.

As I understand matters, Sitonai's name is actually pronounced like it looks in English, with si- not shi-. She's from Ainu legends, not Japanese, and apparently the Ainu syllable represented by the Japanese kana for "shi" is more accurately pronounced as "si". So I wound up flinching every time you said Shitonai because I'm 99% sure it's Sitonai. The more you know XD

Is Arjuna Alter not a high servant when he is an enemy in the lost belt? I was sure that they mentioned he had overtaken all of the other God's powers and subsumed them into himself.

Aren’t top servants a very... murky subject? They are just strong servants that the Moon Cell considers strong enough to be an enforcer. So they get autonomously summoned to fight off threats to the Moon Cell. Extella doesn’t give requirements, it just labels certain independently summoned servants as such.

Despite absolutely not trusting Douman, even as a Chaldea servant, I do wonder if somehow it's possible for a master to forme a bound with him that it's at least deep enough so he can care for them in the point that he do not turn they in to one of his sadistic pleasure victims. I mean, he wouldn't let himself to be summoned by someone who can just order to kill himself at any given time if he wasn't at least willing to not hurt his own master to achieve his goals.

Nah, she spit out all the Sakuras during the event to use them as pawns. Even the Servant Alter Ego version is literally a fragment of the one we fight, so she is a fragment of a fragment in the end. I guess you could consider her CCC form as one but that is literally one specific moment who got beaten just as quickly.

I don't think Cronus is one of her component since Kazuradrop's part appears to be her kimono, perhaps hinting that she might be have one Japanese Goddess as her component so her components are Muryan, Kama and a Japanese Goddess (who might be related to Amaterasu).

@@aredjayc2858 No, they don't but the Japanese Goddess is a reference from CCC's mats where Kazuradrop is Tamamo's rival. If anything, Kama is definitelty matched with Kazura's 2nd ID_es (Hatred for One Kin) since her hatred for Parvati and "A Sakuraface hating another Sakuraface" moment.

So are the sakura 5 essentially digimon (I say this half joking)

Wouldn't muramasa be a high servant anyway since the body he is using is of someone who is/will be a heroic spirit anyway? I mean, it's kinda like the Artemis/Orion situation. Do they count as high servants? I know other pseudo don't count, but it's not like Rin and Waver are heroic Spirits on their own... The more I read about him, the more I think he needs a classification all on his own. He is a little bit of everything.

Would arjuna alter, super karna, asclepius in lb4 when he had 2 gods within him, and scathach-skadi count as high servants?

Arjuna nah, he is not a Servant, he is a living being of that era who wields the authorities of his entire pantheon. He is not even a merged god, he just stole the power, like when Ereshkigal took Nergal and Diazmuid’s authorities.

@@telluranskate8 I mentioned at another place that I do not know if his servant form qualifies. I think he lost most of his authorities in his servant form, only retaining the powers and boons given to him by the gods during life. Meaning he is not a High Servant (otherwise we would have to consider Karna and Hot Wheels High Servants too).

Do you play smite? I ask because the freya image you used is from that game.

They've been pretty ambiguous with the concept, so I wouldn't be surprised if they retconned or altered it at some point.
