In a conversation with a white friend of mine about white power she said to me, “We don’t even think about it.” To which I replied, “That’s the point.”

*White people are totally oblivious of the power of whiteness, because they simply just ARE!*
They don't want to be reminded who the real villains are.
It's the lack of empathy and inability for introspection. It's easier to blame the oppressed for their oppression than it is to take a hard look in the mirror and ask yourself the hard questions and to change a mindset.

This conversation is totally confusing to me. Why are we lobbying for black men to sleep with white women in 2024, and in the same breath talking about the dangers of "whiteness"? Especially sine white America has used BM/WW IRs as a sign of progress since the CRM rather than what black folk fought for during the CRM? How are black people, men or women, reducing black men to their man parts in 2024? Haven't BM/WW IRs contributed to the gender wars in the black community that has led to the divestment movement which is the gateway drug for black women to join the alt-right? Will we be lobbying for black women to sleep with white men next? My bad, it appears that is happening, especially within the divestment movement. I love my people, but I don't understand my people.
3 things they hate black to do, success due to intelligence, be over them in a hierarchy (their boss), or date one of their attractive people! Those things get them pissed!!!
Thank you, Karen! Its been a minute but I still have mad love for you! A great broadcast on yesterday ❤

@@KarenHunterShowI feel like black and white interracial couples are very selfish and self centered people for birthing and bringing children into a system where white supremacy reigns and complain about the treatment their offspring receive especially white women who Dr Frances Cress Welsing said hardly ever identify their children as black they choose the term biracial instead of what society will define them as and that is black and she has the option to pivot to plausible deniability and that’s what becomes problematic for me dear sister

Why should the conversation be had in the first place. For over 400 plus years we've tried over and over again to plead our case to a unwilling audience. Maybe, just maybe, the focus should be on how we deal with ourselves and how that interaction will improve our Social Survival. How and why should we try to relate to others, when we're still trying to understand ourselves....?

What about the many that already understand themselves? What do they do??
Let's consider the fact that silencing dissenters is number one priority. Many do want to talk about it but it won't be on social media. It must be in person. Because social media platforms have one person who will decide what will and won't be said.
Be careful Olivia! You know your folks will come for you!! DON'T get me wrong your honesty is greatly appreciated because Racism must end!!
The truth hurts, being confronted about the error of their ways is eye opening. I will explain it to those who can not understand. Too much “to unpack!”

Im multi racial and ethnically ambiguous, I was also raised that race didn't mean anything, but I used to describe myself as a white guy with a good tan... to my white friends (I only had white friends). Point is even if you aren't overtly oppressed, Whiteness and it's false superiority is ever present and establishes itself in ways we can't fully quantify
Because talking about race forces them to take a deep introspective of themselves, and that is hard for them to do. They don't mind being racist just don't remind them of it.
They want to remain comfortable with how they benefit from the current system.
Simple. The TRUTH hurts.
🔥 🔥
🙏
They don't want to admit to what they continue to do......
WP love having & wielding their power & if they really believed they aren't privileged they wouldn't try to block the progress of others, especially when it's to their own detriment. There are too many examples of them acting & voting against their own best interest if it means it will benefit EVERYONE because they'd rather do without than see anyone not white, win.
Kids are their environment!!.
WIFM? What do they benefit from talking about race? That’s how you have to approach them Heather McGhee is good at it They need to listen
Hi Karen. Did you see Reggie Jackson's speech last week?
I have white blood family...biracial people too. We don't dance around the issues but we don't let it rule our lives.
I grew up when integration of schools was starting and lots of kids were unhappy. White kids who were racist and black kids who didn’t want to be around white kids either and moved from the high school they loved. And when you struck up a friendship with a black kid, other black kids would call them Uncle Tom. I grew up playing baseball in the pasture with black kids and loved them. We didn’t understand the ignorance. I was attacked by blacks because I was white so hatred was all around and still lives today. Martin Luther King Jr said judge by the content of your character not color of the skin and he got it right. Liberals base everything on skin color instead of character as we are seeing today
@Webbgurl2000
10 күн бұрын
So, you basically sound like a child in your understanding. Color is everything because your ancestors created it centuries ago to place themselves above others. Read and find out
As an American of African descent I believe there to be a number of reasons But I also believe its possible people of color put to much emphasis on race to sometimes their own detriment.
Or you can ask why so many Black Folks have this victim mentally from a history that they never experienced? And continue to think they actually suffered?
