I enjoyed listening to the mayor. Made me wish they'd explained what we were learning in civic classes back in the 60's & 70's.

I didn't know what a probate judge did. Thank you Mayor Steven from the Great City of Montgomery, AL. I am from Auburn, AL. Thank you, Karen for bringing us this Civics class today❤

Mayor says, get together in a citizen group and decide specifically in writing what they want the mayor to do. EFFECTIVE.

This was a good show that helped people get a better insight into how local government works especially since schools today don’t teach civic as they once did. I do wish that if Ms. Keith’s cat has other things to do, go do them off camera instead of trying to multitask and not be fully engaged 😂.

LOOK up this headline “Foreign leaders seek fresh ties with U.S. governors, mayors.” This is where you get things likeCop City from, or US police being trained by Israel police tactics.

and it's really okay not to comment if you're not ADDING anything of value to the conversation.

There are nations in warmer zones with declining populations Italy, Greece and others in the Middle East. We could bring our commerce and productivity there. We need to learn the language of course and the cultural mores unlike immigrants coming to AMERICA. We could negotiate for land for housing and work visas lets just explore how to go I can help many in my state.

did he? I've been waiting for the evidence of this...No one has produced it. So unless you heard it with your own ears, I suggest you either find the evidence of go someone else speaking this stuff. I'm building...and guess what, people who have the levers of power to make your life better and are open to talking should be pressed into service, no...yelling into the void and disparaging these people will get you what accomplished? The host is explaining. To get things done, citizens organize a group && describe in writing specifics to the mayor. Rant in the street == less effective.

@@earthsystem the black citizens in Montgomery did that. And when they said they would not vote for him again, he got caught saying fck em he don't need them. And he didn't need them to win. Secondly you work for the entire city as mayor. Not just the ones who have the luxury or having time and money to form organizations to pass up the needs of the city for their personal purposes.
