Hi Cuan, I have watched your duets with Allie a lot and I find them magical. I have watched other duets that Allie has performed and their is not the magical smiles between them that makes your duet's lovely, that gives me goosebumps. Please get together to sing more duets. ❤😉 When Dr. Reynolds was commenting on the time that Allie came in to finish off a phase. It looks to me that Allie was going to start the phase and you decided to start the phase and have Allie complete it.

Cuan, I do not think Dr. Reynolds gave you your due, although you were humble in your response. Kudos for your modesty. As someone who enjoys music and is a listener with minimal musical background (your REAL audience), this was my reaction: I did not click away when I Allie began to sing. I thought, "Wow. She is really, really good." Her talent convinced me to stay and listen in a relaxed sort of way, enjoying her style. But when you started singing, I sat up and took notice. I thought, "Holy crap! This guy can sing. He should be on Broadway." Your voice is at its best in the lower range -- like melted chocolate for my aural senses. Songs like this that show your range -- the honeyed low notes, the bright high notes -- engage listeners at many sensory levels and really showcase your talent. Best wishes for your future success.

I see Allie & Cuan as having a lot of respect for each other as performers. They’re both learning from each other & teaching each other with each performance they do. Cuan had voice lessons for years & is also has great showmanship skills. Allie is a self taught singer with a lot of real live performances to her experience. Also, Allie has one very beautiful, but unusual voice. Together, they’re absolutely amazing. Hope to see more duets of them soon.

Love when Cuan and Allie sing together, they seem to bring out the best in each other and sound so good together. Cuan has that classic sound to his voice, perfect song for his voice, love it. Both are amazing performers.

She is so good. When she starts singing I get goose bumps.

As a huge fan of Allie and Cuan, I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction with your expertise. I'd love to see you do more of them.

These 2 have so much chemistry. love them singing together. They are such a blessing for me to enjoy there music and personalitys.

One interesting aspect of this story is that Allie sang this same song alone on the street a few months earlier and only got 345K views. But, when she sang together with Cuan suddenly the view count went to 18 MILLION! Maybe the best example ever of the virtue of doing duets all the time.

@@dodieanderson3908 Absolutely right... in spite of their very young ages (she's just 16 this year -- maybe still 15 -- and Cuan a mere 3 years older), they are electric together and you can see from their expressions just how much they delight in each other.

I love all the little nuances and problem solving that goes on with live performances. I miss live music so much! They both have smooth voices. He surprised me there at the end. I didn't think he would get up there but he nailed it! Thanks for this reaction Dr. Marc.

Cuan's been found... He'll be doing an acting gig as the prince in Cinderella soon for an UK production. Allie is very well known and followed.

Allie has about 300 videos and she has been doing this since she was 11- Dublin has an amazing street scene. This old rural Nebraska guy wishes There was something like this around here

She's got nearly 700 videos on her channel and hundreds more different ones on her Facebook and Instagram. So she's actually got well over 1000 videos... unprecedented documented live performances for an 11-15 yr old

@johnson paul Funny thing is I'm a guy in rural Ireland and one my other favourite KZreadrs is in your neck of the woods in rural Nebraska - Laura Carlson with her Laura Farms channel. She is a very articulate young woman with excellent presentation skills, as well as farmer who mucks in.

@@rikspilz4991 Thanks to her very loving and supportive father. From her interview a few years ago on Ellen, she really had to push him to let her sing publicly but once he got on board, he's ALL IN. What an amazing family to rise out of the devastation of losing the Mom and then striking out like Allie did. She's a phenomenal person of character and maturity.

I think most of the Busketeers are awesome. Allie's voice blends with nearly ever one else's. Check all her duets!

These two are great together. Their voices are so in tune with each other & are a beautiful duet. Love what you do out in the open with all surrounding noises & people. When listening to you two singing, it all phases out, we just hear your performance. God bless. Looking forward to seeing more of you both.

I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio and ran across these buskers and fell in love with Allie and love love love her performances with Cuan Durkin!! There are awesvideo's together. You will also like an acaopela band, Home Free. Can I recommend "How Great Thou Art", "Seven Bridges Road" just anything they do. They won the American Sing Off Season 4 in 2014 or 2013, I believe. I've never heard such voices in my life. They just finished the 50th anniversary song with Don McLean, American Pie, have worked with Kenny Rogers, the Oak Ridge Boys, Alabama, etc. They have 1 million subscribers..they are amazing.

Boy, Doc, you nailed it for these two. Just found their and your KZread channel. So glad I did. My son had years of voice lessons, in Memphis, and sang with “The Wiffenpoofs of Yale. He’s a pretty good singer, too. Very fascinating to listen to you explain everything.

I so loved when it was his turn to sing and he was like "not working!" so he looks over to Allie and pulls her back in with a nod. Then he changes key to adapt... she does too. Then his operatic voice comes back in and finishes the song hitting a beautiful operatic falsetto. There's so much to like here. These people walking by must have something very important to do to skip this marvelous performance that I would spend good money to see if they came to my town.

Cuan & allie perform lots and work together more & more. Finding what's good together. His style alone is completely different to his busking. Should check him out.

We can all see the way Cuan looks at Allie , he was getting back in there because he is in love 🥰 I think it’s beautiful and I’m sure they would make an amazing couple later on down the track , they respect each other wich is awesome to see

Cuan has been having voice lessons since age 4; so he's a natural in that he has very good "pipes" as they say (as do his other 2 brothers). Allie is totally natural I believe.

I know what u are talking about, she has never had any voice coaching, she is just a natural

It's quite wonderful to dissect what she is doing but I doubt she is conscious of the technique. Singing comes from the unconscious mind, it's a gift and she has got it.

same here... I could sing when I was young (once sang Ave Maria at church) but sadly no more. My range is 5 notes.

Careful what you say about Cuan Durkin because he is opera trained and has done Cinderela musical

How many singers have your heard like Allie ability with only natural voice? Just curious, don’t include vocalists using autotune. Thanks. I know Celine is great and doesn’t use autotune

His name is Cuan, pronounced “kew- in”……NOT “kuh-wan”. 🙄

Not a fan of Allie alone...her voice is just ok. But when she teams up with Cuan, something magical happens and they are awesome. I hope they get back together soon to do more duets. Quit making Allie into a super star..she is not there yet.

Very pretentious of you to critique one of the best of all time , as if your on top of what she does ? If anyone could teach what she does there would be so many more like her. All her originality is what makes it great . You can teach knowledge , but you cant teach Gods gift of Wisdom . The latter being the GREATER
