I remember this song “Memory” sang by Barbra Streisand and I love that Mori sings it in the same style. It brings poignant memories of my childhood days when every member of my family are still there and very much alive....
Yes, MY QUEEN MORI'S really, really AWESOME! She sings any song, any song effortlessly!😍😍😍
What makes this performance even more awesome is.. its just one song of a set of six broadway songs presented in succession and broadcast simultaneously in a live streaming app. Each broadway song was presented with the applicable emotion befitting the story of the song. As one reactor said.. It is important to know the song. She does not just act out the song.. she becomes the song.

I have watched this performance of hers many times in the past and also with your reaction in the past and tonight, not to mention the other musical reactors as well. My conclusion.... we all are amazed by her vocals and performances!

Morissette can sing any ganre ...she a suprano with 5octaves and 7 note amazing rifs and runs....clear and strong high note...beautiful and clear low notes ... can hold a note up to 18 sec with rifs and runs witn am eazz insane whistle notes with also rifs and runs with a word also...

I suggest that you review her recent mashup of Moon River/Usahay (in her visayan Filipino dialect - with sub-titles) showcasing her versality in handling varied type of songs. i think this one of the rarest performance of Morissette that she did not try to own or interpret the song in her own style. This time she did not out perform Barbra Streisand's rendition of the same song. Both of them are really good in interpreting songs in their own way.

amongst the plethora of so called voice coaches, vocalists, music grads, opera singers blah blah blah etc out there, i think your opinions and analysis is the most legit of all sir....you know what you are talking about and you most definitely seem to have the experience and knowledge to back it all up....when you have "doctor" before your name, it's kinda obvious....kudos.
