Saw Aerosmith the first time before I had ever heard of them. They were the opening act for Robin Trower and headliners Mott The Hoople. Was not expecting much of anything from them. Wow! From the start, I think the first song I remember was “Train Kept A Rollin”. From then on the whole crowd was in their back pocket. Had never seen or heard anything like Steven Tyler before. He was a blur with a huge voice! My favorite American Rock band! Thanks for the analysis!
Yes!! Thank you for this reaction Dr. Marc. I love Aerosmith. I'm fascinated at how long Steven Tyler has been killing it considering how unkind his lifestyle likely is on the voice. I know guys in their prime that can't sing this song. He still nails it after decades. Thank you for pointing out the vocal techniques he has used throughout his career that keep him performing. Great info for any singer!
One thing i'd love about steven is he doesn't need to put vibrato in the notes he just put his own artistic vocal singing technique 👍🏻
