Triumph’s all-new Tiger 850 Sport plays as a new entry-point to the Tiger adventure bike family as it checks in from just $15,990 plus on-road costs.
Meanwhile, the 2020 Tiger 900 range, upon which the 850 Sport is based, is priced from $20,950 rideaway for the base GT, up to $24,750 for the range-topping 900 Rally Pro.
The new Tiger 850 Sport makes use of a similar T-plane crank engine as the latest generation Tiger 900 range, but Triumph has given the powerplant a unique tune.

Great review. I have one since June 2021 and it has a great motor and you summed it up pretty good. Has a nice deep growl on deceleration too.
Another good vid, mate!
Test rode one, liked it. Felt light and flickable with plenty of power for me.
It's really caught my eye. If you can live with non-adjustable supension and the fact that it cannot get cruise-control, it's an incredible value bike in a premium brand. Interestingly the bike is restricted only with mapping, so with just an app, an OBD-dongle and a bit of fettling it'll make 100+hp.
really cool video !!
How tall are you what’s your inseam. I’m 5’7ft with 28inseam will I be able to saddle up on this horse?
230kg max load is very impressive as well.
adjust the windscreen by grabbing the top lip, it is much easier.

@@INFO_MOTO you also get a longer oil service interval on the 850 compared to the 900.
Hey, You've ridden the f900xr, how'd u compare that with the 850 sport. I know they r a bit different, but also think might be similar in many ways. Where I live they're priced almost identical. Thx

Hey there! The F 900 XR and Tiger 850 are indeed very different motorcycles, in that the Tiger is much more an "adventure bike" capable of light off-road, while the F 900 XR is very much a sports tourer: lower to the ground, sportier seating position with road-oriented tyres and suspension settings. I would also add that the F 900 XR makes a bit more power, though the Tiger feels gruntier thanks to its low-down torque. Both are great bikes, so it should all depend on what style of riding you primarily do. The Triumph is more versatile, but the BMW is sharper. Hope that helps.

That's an HJC RPHA-11. Pretty happy with it.
If, as so many comments suggest, people want analog (looking?) gauges why are the TFT’s becoming so common? Twice now I’ve been turned off buying because the manufacturer has slapped on a TFT “tablet” on an otherwise aesthetically pleasing motorcycle. It’s not the data that repulses, it’s the manner in which the data is communicated.

Some TFTs are better than others. I think what Triumph has done with the Trident is one of the best applications I've seen.
How tall are you man

Surely not! You dare not become an adventurous gentleman! Aren’t you a sports bike fan? I would dearly love for you to test ride the cheap arse CFMOTO 650MT some time soon. Then you can buy 2 of those to the 1 850sport😉🤣🤣😎

I must be getting old, Steve 🤣! In all seriousness, I'm really looking forward to riding the incoming CFMoto 700 CL-X. That things looks sick.

@@stevesanelli90 haha I know I'm only teasing. I'm sure all the CL-X variants are largely the same to ride, so whatever!
