John was natural until his 40s. He had quite a run as a natty. Sick hand genetics though

I’ve been resistance training & non professionally arm wrestling for over 40yrs, I’m 6’2, around 115kg, and I’ve always been COMPLETELY natural, and I definitely agree that everyone should keep their foundational strength up by implementing all of the relevant compound exercises as PART of their training.

As someone who's been a high level powerlifter, now arm wrestler I've spent years on gear and being natty been training my whole life 25+ years, I agree, great message. In the end for arm wrestling stay natural and have fun

Gear is really dangerous for armwresling because if you get stronger fast your joints will not be strong enough to handle getting mopped by some old head who don't compete but is ridiculous, much less a real competition. Roids or not you will have to put in the time to develop tendons. I recommend progressive rehab training for myself, I feel good and can play hard on table. Stay strong everyone!

Gear should be heavily discouraged for all new or even intermediate pullers. Once you get on gear you are putting your health at risk regardless of how safe you think you are using, you are adding another expense to your life, and you have to play chicken with your gonads, will you shut off your natural hormone production, and if so for how long? If you have low T that is a problem and using a supplement at that point probably makes sense.

As long as you keep competing against other competitive arm wrestlers, it doesn’t really matter who you face. Be an unstoppable force and famous arm wrestler will take notice.

I think whoever you face should be close to your weight. I don't like these matches with a big weight gap, unless it's at the elite lvl, like Toddzilla vs Korey for example. As far as PEDs, it's definitely a personal choice, but I think people should make the decision when they are more mature. Seeing teens on PEDs is really sad imo

The steroid thing doesn't bother me to bad. As long as the athletes know the risk of taking them. Also having natty leagues is a good thing too. But i realllllllly hate seeing the young kids like bacho for example taking so much at a young age. He will have a short life and his later years will probably be very miserable for him. I dont know much about roids though. Ive only taken them for poison ivy a couple times 😂 but i know its bad for kids to be taking them so much so often for so long

Ya, doing it natty is the best way to respect your body and truly test yourself and where your actual best can be. It takes discipline to take the harder path and builds character, and potentially better skill, through the increased number of losses.

Come to Australia..not awe..but Australian armwrestling federation tests..some of our champions of weight divisions have been banned. They are serious about clean sport here. It's why so many big names don't compete at nationals..Lachlan..Ryan..our 2 best don't even bother going.

They need to bring in laws in professional armwrestling to prohibit Steroids. Most professional sports already do that. Armwrestling needs to follow
