My friend, my advice to you is to give up on Apple, don't prop them up like this and idolize them. Just because they are a successful multinational company doesn't mean that you will enjoy working for them even. I know you also want job security and that's why you avoid startups, but these conglomerates can also make decisions that leaves you without a job. There are a lot of good companies that do great engineering, and have challenging and rewarding work and will offer you with a stable job opportunity! Also think about this, if a company ghosts you 6 times and treats you like this, do you really want to work for that company? Do you really think they won't treat you like trash once you get hired?

Mark Rober said on a podcast once that Apple indirectly told him he should stop making KZread videos and stuff and focus on Apple. So yeah it could be a reason. Edit: The interview was with MKBHD on the waveform podcast here on KZread. The other thing I'll say is, I love these videos that you make. There is alot of good information in them and I'm sure it helps alot of people with their own interviews but it also raises the question if these videos themselves, not just your side hussle, hurt your chances in an interview as well not just with apple but any company for that matter. Like if they just give you an interview even, are they going to end up on your KZread channel which they might not want.

I can elaborate on this, Apple is super strict about their privacy and security policies. Therefore Apple may find you a security concern since you have a KZread channel that directly shows your interview process with them to the public and what questions they ask. There was literally a video that you posted on KZread of literally the interviewer asking you questions in real time, that's a big concern for Apple! Therefore they might find you as a security threat since you leaked information on what they ask during an interview process and maybe you might leak information while working for them.

By openly exposing just how messed up these big companies are, you are unfortunately opening yourself up to not being selected for these reasons most likely. Apple and other companies most likely hate that you’re actually exposing their twisted hiring methods and how much they use their candidates for their own benefit whilst not even hiring that same candidate. Apple is just the marketing/ brand ...the products are awful especially cause they only made minor changes to their products in the last few years and their prices are boarderline unethical milking the costumers with their way to high profit margin .....also in my eyes apple is not that interesting for Mechanical Engineers.... It's more interesting for programmers or Electrical Engineers afterall the actual components that a Mechanical engineer would work on almost don't change? There are a lot of companies out there with way more interesting ME jobs companies like Porsche, Tesla or even Nasa and Boeing.

A Top 5 company wants to hire dedicated employees, also having a “side hustle” that could workout and create a separate revenue stream could encourage that culture for you and other employees, and for the employee this gives you options to eventually leave the job if you wanted, creating problems of employee retention for them, which obviously isn’t good from the company’s perspective. You also give out a lot about your personality in these videos so an employer has more than enough content to judge you and compare to their other options

I don't think that's why Apple isn't hiring you. I know a few people who work at Apple and still create content on KZread, like BABE ENGINEER. Apple is the number one company today, and there's a lot of competition. Everyone I know who works at Apple got their job because they either knew someone already working there or were top engineers. Plus, I believe you're Canadian, so they would likely need to sponsor your work authorization. Lastly, your content isn't like Marc's. Marc is always inventing and creating, while you focus more on discussing how to become an engineer. If you start creating and demonstrating on KZread how you invent something cool from scratch, Apple or other big companies will likely reach out and hire you.

Remember when an Apple engineer's daugther got her dad fired because she was leaking a new model of Iphone with a blog before the release? Yea, I would understand why

Well. In another universe, you couldve probably earnt more money working for Apple should you ever had progressed into senior roles, than making youtube talking about Apple interviews

Apple is all about keeping secrets... They don't want a KZreadr on their team. You will reveal everything when you're out the door😂😂😂

Create KZread about something else, not about all the reasons someone should hire you. Companies do not appreciate you discussing how you and others are treated. If someone wants to work at Apple do not leak confidential information.

Tamer. Apple sees you already as having a full time youtube job. you are not serious to them. the apple job is actually the side hustle. get serious man. you want a real job or you a tuber?

You post all about Apple. It’s not about just side hustle, it’s that you are obsessed with Apple. You leak everything you know about Apple. Question of trust and confidentiality. Your videos do not inspire trust to be an Apple employee. Your side hustle is all about disclosing Apple stories. It is coming across as very desperate. You speak negatively about Apple and other companies. It’s not that you are entrepreneurial. It’s that all you do is share Apple stories.

The reason they don't want you with a side hustle: It is because if you work at Apple and have a successful side hustle. This will make you rich very quickly, as you will have 2 good incomes. This may cause you to leave Apple quite early on So it isn't worth it for them Edit: This was my guess but Tamer mentioned it literally a minute later 😂😂
