The Toyota C-HR (Japanese: トヨタ C-HR Hepburn: Toyota Shīeichiāru) is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by Toyota. The production version of the C-HR was unveiled at the March 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The North American production version was also unveiled at the November 2016 LA Auto Show. The production of the C-HR started in November 2016. It was launched in Japan on 14 December 2016,[4] and it went on sale in Europe, Australia, South Africa and North America in early 2017, and in Southeast Asia, China and Taiwan in 2018. The name C-HR stands for Compact High Rider,[4] Cross Hatch Run-about[4] or Coupé High-Rider.[5]
Initial production was in Japan and Turkey. The North American-spec C-HR is imported from Turkey.[6] The C-HR was announced in 2019 as the first Battery electric vehicle in Toyota's upcoming lineup, to be available in the Chinese market in 2020.[7]
Unique for the North American C-HR is the bigger 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine dubbed Dynamic Force which was matched to a CVT gearbox. In North America, it was originally planned to be sold as a Scion before that marque was discontinued.[9][10] The 2018 model year was only available in either the XLE or XLE Premium model.[11] For the 2019 model year, the C-HR is available in LE, XLE or Limited models.[12]

You forgot to show the seats at the back that can be lowered down to make more space for your stuff. It’s a great car indeed just got one too and love the safety features and the body looks like a sports mini suv 💜
I want this exact vehicle in this exact color. But my wife wants the maroon. For this design, I feel that it looks better in silver. However, it will be her vehicle so I guess if she wants a maroon, then so be it. As long as she's happy. That's all that matters.

My son friggin loves this car!!!! First saw it the day I lost me pride and joy.......😥...having driven a Toyota for a while now...I can say they have it spot on with their new styling 👌...I'd have one with the Prius drive drain...panoramic sunroof and all the toys heated seats etc...loving your KZread handle made me 😊👍

Coup high rider. I just purchased a 2020 a few months ago. So far pleased. I got the base model XE. Still learning all the perks.

I have the same year as you have on screen and if you go to a car park and lock the mirror on the doors if you look at the ground it will say c.h.r on the ground

I learn something new about it every day. I didn't know about the ceramic heater either! So thanks for the info. I picked it up certified for $18k with only 11kmiles on it.

I bought the 2019 LE CHR. I traded in my corolla LE 2017 for it and FREAKING love it🥰🥰 I get many compliments on it. Especially the color I got the same color when its waxed it has this lilac silver color. 💜 I would go for the 2019 the 2018 has the small camera on the mirror I didnt like that. Also it was probably in the other couple holder you can pull out the tear drop plastic piece out and put it on the cup holder your going to use for bigger drink cups so they wont sink that low. The dealer told me that. But yes I'm so happy with this new baby🥰🥰🥰🥰 P.S awesome review 👍

@@Jennifer-in4us I honestly love everything about it. It is a compact suv just keep that in mind. It is a little tight in the back. If someone tall is riding passenger I would have them sit in the back so the shorter person can move up forward for leg space. That's the only thing I don't like. Other than that its a really nice car picks up good on the freeway. Makes great turns and it has a sport mode, eco and normal mode.

I ended up trading my 07 Mazda cx7 and financed a 2014 Toyota Venza best decision I did. It's a beautiful car I guess I have the same keyfob
Thanks Peter. Love this CHR. Thanks for sharing, go ahead and buy. Suggestion don't buy the 2018.they upgraded the stereo and moved the back up cam from rear view mirror to screen and improved touch screen. Great job on the review tho.

Nice car. Wait 3 years, buy it used after most of the depreciation is done.
On my 2019 CHR AC system is not working and no parts available yet. This just sucks! Thanks toyota for warmer summer cruising without AC!
