I feel blessed that today when i thought of where you might be today in your life I actually found you. Thats the power of positive thinking, you’re just as amazing as i expected following your passions and going on extended journeys! This can't be circumstance. i was just looking for a hat like this to take with me to Greenland coming fall (if corona permits). Just bought one and was positively surprised that prices were in NZD instead of USD, which makes them a steal. Can't wait for it to arrive! Take care and greetings from the Netherlands.

Just popped over to your Store. Not sure about choosing from the 4 sizes given. My head circumference above the ears is 58cm so what size would that be? Also can't see in the options the oil-skin waterproof one. Do they come with a cram bag to save space in a backpack for say winter tramping? What is their average weight? What is the best way to store them when not in use? Any other maintenance tips to ensure long life? I think those Qs just about covers it! LOL. Great to see a family's entrepreneurial skills put to work to save our forests and eke out a living to boot! Cheers.

Hello! Thanks for watching! And thanks for the reminder, the oilskin aviator is now on my site haha! As for size,it's almost one size fits all so don't worry too much. I am actually 58cm too haha! So just choose large and that should be right. It's just a rough guide so mum knows not to send a super small or super big to the wrong person. No cram bag, but I can ask Mum if she can make one if you want it. I have never done anything to look after mine and 5 years later it looks the same as the day I made it. Fur is pretty forgiving. The main thing is not getting them soaking wet. The oil skin keeps the rain off but its better if you don't leave it in a puddle in the bottom of your backpack for a few days. If you do just make sure to dry it out well. It will still be fine of you do, just better not too. Most of the time cold conditions are not so wet anyway. Anyway I hope that helps! And like I said the oilskin one is available now!
