I love your story already, can't wait for the book! Q: Do you think you'll raise your own family in the future similar to how you were raised? What are (if any) some things you wished you'd learnt about before traveling? (having come from an isolated life as such?) How do you feel looking back on your life and your accomplishments? When your in a difficult, lonely or scary situation what do you tell you self? Or how do you manage your mental or physical situations. It would be cool to include the above in your book!

We often read how indigenous cultures have an almost spiritual connection with their natural homelands. Given most of modern humanity has lost this connection did your lifestyle at Gorge River help retain this connection to any extent?

interested in your barefoot adventure at Gorge River. Have your feet got soft with your overseas adventure, do you have to work to keep your fitness, did you eat possums at Gorge River in your young days and do you have your own diet?? Keep up the good work Chris, i have followed the whole family since the first Ben Fogle series and absolutely love your progress in life and all adventures . GOOD luck and take care.

  • @WildKiwiAdventurer

Haha good questions, Yes I have eated possum a couple of times. YEs for sure my feet have become softer because its not easy to wear bear feet elsewear, especially in Antarctica and the Arctic. And lastly I find it very easy to keep my fitness, i am very lucky for that. After 3 months living on a yacht in the Arctic not doing anything very physical I came home and walked from Big Bay to Gorge RIver in my record time.

Not a big reader of books, but when I come across a good one, I’ll read until I’m over reading for another year. I would certainly invest in your successful book, then pass it on to my Grandchildren to read, so that they possibly could be inspired by your Life so far. Of course they’ll have to leave Brisbane & their Mothers, to venture on. :-)
