Hi Ben! To train the kitten to use the litter box, shortly after each meal, place it in the litter and gently run their paw through the litter, imitating a digging motion. This will familiarize the kitten with the litter after meals. Edit: can't really explain why it works but it's worked for every cat I've raised. You can even give them a belly rub before to help digestion (or if you just want to 😁)

3 years ago I met Big ounce on a ferry cruise around the West coast of Norway. We got along very well and he shared many stories about his two wives. However, 9 days into the cruise he fell overboard when he spotted a rare Norwegian beaver. Unfortunately, the beaver swam away and Mr Ouncerton almost lost his life that day. I am so glad to hear the news about him finally having the strength and lung capacity of an aduly beaver, so he can enjoy many European cruises to come without having to worry about either catching a wild beaver or drowning, should he fall in again. Hi Uncle Ben! I thought i was allergic to cats bit found out I'm actually allergic to the chemicals in cat litter. One thing that might help with the kittens is just having a container and putting dirt from the area so they recognize that's where they need to go. That's what we did with my baby (who is also a black cat we found on the street) before we could go to the store and get her litter. She went straight for the dirt and went potty immediately. We put some dirt on top of her litter and she took to it very well. Feral/ abandoned cats tend to go potty in soft, sand like things like dirt, so bringing them something they used outside can help train them to inside litter.

Your recent kitten rescues have made me miss it so bad, but I'm probably not gonna be able to get back to fostering for at least three years.

I tried to do the 72hr fast in 2014 and decided to come off caffeine cold turkey...terrible idea, very sick for two days until I had a coffee. Tried again in 2017, took a month to wean off caffeine first. Found the fast very easy, it was a good thing because when I came off the fast 72hrs later I discovered, due to a shrunken stomach, that I had a rotten gall bladder. I had to go into hospital for emergency keyhole surgery, my gall bladder had abscessed into my liver and broke apart during surgery, very blessed that it didn't happen earlier. God is awesome.🙂

Hey Uncle Ben, I'm currently in my junior year of college as an environmental science major (my focus is ecology) and your channel has been a big inspiration for me. Thank you so much for making these videos 🥺
Hey Ben! I’m a chicken person and I noticed your chicks! I don’t know if you want to continue having chicks, but it appears you have a broody hen so if you don’t start collecting your eggs, all you will get are chicks because your hen will sit in the eggs until they hatch! Congrats on the babies though! You might want to watch them because if you have any other hens, they might kill the babies to establish something the chicken community calls the pecking order. It happened to my chicks and we almost lost one. That’s a story for another time, but if you want to hear it, I can talk about my birds all day! Hope this helps and keep a eye on the chicks! Edit: looking at the comments everybody is talking about the kitten when I’m talking about the chicks :D

Uncle Ben really capturing all the animals for us, now we’re waiting for the day they all hop out at the after party. Keep up the great work!
For the cats not being litter box trained, it's as easy at scraping their front paws in it a bit so they get the idea then leave them alone. Always works and works for feral kittens I've had to catch before. They wont normally know what it's for otherwise usually.
