No large companies would give me the time of day after graduation so im just working an office job for now doing something I don't want to do or care about. Im so glad the urban rescue ranch finally came out and discussed the ongoing abuse. Quite frankly the cruel things being done to uncle ben is horryfing. Garbanzo beans is a sick demented duck. Uncle ben does not deserve to be constantly pecked at, jumped ontop of, and terrorized while hes free roaming the ranch.

For anyone wondering, the species he released is the red swamp crayfish, which is native to Texas and a few other southern states but HIGHLY INVASIVE basically everywhere else. Please never release crayfish into a pond unless you know for sure they are a native species.

@@Vythic nope. Crayfish really don't care where they live as long as they have water (and for some species, even water is optional, like the burrowing crayfish) and something organic to eat. There's a reason I always recommend them to people for small aquariums over actual fish.

Check the description. He likes and wants to do it himself. He's probably just pointing out it takes time and the importance of managing it effectively. And maybe as an indirect reminder to not call his number for no reason, effectively wasting his time (apparently that happened recently and some problematic viewers harassed him by blowing it up).

Tibby doesn’t understand this metal tree that’s in his house, but he’ll climb it!

I've had many ponds, in various forms, one good trick is to lay old carpet down first before the liner. It prevents plants from growing up through liner and makes the bottom a little softer if/when you ever need to walk on it. Most carpet stores have zillions of off-cuts you can get for free, as well. I am literally the “abandoned kitten lady” of my neighborhood and have never felt MORE seen than at 10:58

im sure my comment wont be seen, but by the way, ive had massive luck with tetra's pond algae control, even with a really heavy bioload at one point and really infrequent water changes, because i know youve mentioned the problem in the past of micro algae totally murking up ponds. works fast and is safe for plants and fish, so its probably safe for animals to drink but id of course look into that further if i was you. good luck and thank you for the upload!

Love the videos! Tho those aren't redheaded woodpeckers, those are Downies! You can tell bc they have those black dots on their outer tailfeathers, and white dots on their backs. Redheadeds have very blocky colorations, and have completely red heads (no black on the face)!

came here to check if somebody else noticed! there’s also hairy woodpeckers, which look basically the same as downy woodpeckers except hairy woodpeckers are larger and have longer bills than downy woodpeckers! woodpeckers are great, i love them

@@mossmeow Yep yep! Hairies also have pure white tail feathers, tho I find the bill size to be easier to spot in the field. Texas also has ladderback woodpeckers in the small and speckly camp, but their red extends to the forehead!

I bet the Kangs love the greenhouse b/c it's covered and dry, but also light and bright so they can still see what's going on around them. compared to a darker structure.......or they have a casino.

I'm pretty sure those are actually Downy woodpeckers, Red-headed woodpeckers have a fully red head, and no spots on their wings. I also noticed they have spots on their outer tail feathers, and a relatively short beak compared to body size which tells me they are Downy woodpeckers, and not Hairy woodpeckers.

Ben, now that the ranch is booming, I hope you get tons of funding to help these animals
