Savage was crazy strong. He had less lightsaber training than a padawan and still killed many jedi masters, put up an impressive display of power against Dooku and Ventress, tanked more blaster shots at once than anyone else in the series and even put up a reasonable fight against Sidious together with Maul. He absolutely had the potential to surpass even Maul and Dooku.

"Only one Palpatine wanted dead" Bro, he personally killed Savage after he and Maul put up a pretty impressive fight and he needed to stab him twice and throw him of a building to kill him. Savage is way stronger than Ventress and if he had more actual training he could've easily surpassed Dooku and Maul.

The other point was, that Sora was stronger than any of the acolytes. In your previous comment, you went on a wild rant about Vapaad. I understand how Vapaad works. You might be underselling Sev'rance, I have a few reasons to think this. Firstly, her loss is to Echuu Shen-Jon, who was trained by Windu and is directly compared to him in ability, so is most likely around Depa Billaba or Sora Bulq in terms of ability realistically speaking (who like him, are also Jedi Masters trained by Windu who fall to the dark side). Now, we don't necessarily know how well she did, but it's not really a mark against you to lose there. Next, she does defeat Jor Drakas herself, who was a knight, her combat abilities appear to also be pretty good even if her main assets are as a commander. Finally, it's worth noting that her exploits are extremely early in the Clone Wars, so a lot of characters who may be stronger than her didn't necessarily make it there yet.

Lord Tyrannus spent a lot more time with Asija Ventress than most of his Acolytes. If he had that time with Savage. He may have been able to train Savage to out power Ventress but Savage wouldn't ever be able to out think her. Ventress didn't grow up easy for sure. She was trained essentially as a Jedi before then falling to the Darkside as well as getting back in touch with her birthright as Dathomir witch. Ventress goes up against some of the best duelists with a light saber in the known galaxy during the clone wars. As she may not win many of these duels she almost always survives the encounter without a scratch and maintaining both curved hilt lightsabers with her as well. We also need to remember Asija isn't sent out as an assassin as much as she is given specific tasks. Tasks which she accomplished with ease. Again even when Jedi Knights are involved. Including Anakin and Obi won. She's also the only one of Lord Tyrannus's apprentices that he argues to save her. Tyrannus almost out right betrays Sideous as he pleads Ventress's case sounding almost more like a father than just some other apprentice. Then we can factor in Sideous himself as showing how powerful Asjia is. Sideous instructing her to be killed shows Asjia's power in its own right. If Asija wasn't able to have toppled Sideous's plans. He wouldn't have bothered to have her killed at all. Sideous only concerned himself with his opposition and his ability to manipulate others ,like the senate, to pivot to a similar plan of action but with always one goal of heading his grand Empire. If Ventress was nothing then Sideous wouldn't have even given her a 2nd thought. There's more here to Ventress and how powerful she is or could become. We have to consider all as a whole. Asija Ventress is a member of an ancient clan the Nightsisters. Specifically the Dathomir witches in this case. Then she finds herself a Jedi Padawan and is trained in the light side of the force. After being sparked by her rage for her Jedi Masters death Ventress turns her to the Darkside and becomes the apprentice of Lord Tyrannus. As this video mentions Lord Tyrannus trained many Jedi and Sith alike in his time. So we can only assume he must have been an exceptional teacher. Not to mention Dooku was trained by none other than Master Yoda. My point is Asija Ventress has much knowledge of Jedi and their teachings but never fully committed to being a Jedi. She is more or less tricked or confused into turning to the Darkside which then only increases her strength and KNOWLEDGE in the force. We can talk about Dark Jedi or Gray's as being powerful yet Ventress is neither and more all at once. She has keen knowledge of the Jedi. Knowledge the Jedi doesn't know she has. Then twisted by Lord Tyrannus she's become a powerful Sith. But that wasn't her destiny either. Asija reclaimed her Nightsister heritage and if Ventress had more time to also explore this aspect of the force who knows what she would have become ... and maybe now we'll find out 🤞🏻 Asija Ventress has gotten away once more it seems too. This time from death's clutches itself . It is not yet known in canon how this happened. Although it's almost already accepted that when Quinlan Vos and Obi-Wan Kenobi go to place her corpse back in the pools of green liquid on Dathomir. That those pools and her being of the Dathomir clan they eventually brought her back to life. That's a trick not many in all recorded time in the galaxy have managed. So now Ventress seems to float in the middle ground seeking balance with the force more than picking one side or the other. The little we saw of her in the Bad Batch post resurrection she seems placed to be far more dangerous and powerful than any Gray or Dark Jedi. Asija could almost rival any Sith or Jedi in a duel as she knows them both very well. Not to mention Lord Tyrannus was known as one of the best duelists in the galaxy. As well as her Dathomir witch heritage. If Asija Ventress is ever allowed to fully realize her potential in force. If Ventress could learn to use the force through all three at once, Jedi, Sith, & Night Sister. Asija Ventress could become one of the strongest beings in the galaxy. That is if she isn't already. Asija is a complicated character and may not want to expect such a burden. Being all powerful usually doesn't last. In fact it often seals your fate in the Star Wars galaxy as you become ignorant to your own vulnerabilities. Hopefully you will let me know what you think. I hope I've done Asija Ventress justice here and made a strong argument for being the most powerful apprentice of Dooku and Lord Tyrannus to ever live. I hope this peaked your attention. And as always May the force be with you ... as it flows through me for I am Sith.

I don't know if I would say that Savage is more powerful than Assaj. He definitely had the potential, but he was untrained. If Maul could have tried to train him more, or even Assaj training him; he'd have been absolutely terrifying. Like, Scion level threat. I love that Savage was never really interested in the way of the Sith, or Maul. I would even go so far as to say that he's the ONLY character to use the darkside with GOOD intentions. He wasn't power-mad, or wrathful. He just wanted to belong and to help his brother. I would dare to call Savage the "goodest" darksider.

You realize that you don't need to like star wars any more, right?

I'm totally with you. Let's weaponize light speed and make it so everyone can come back from the dead.....oh yeah. While we are at it. Let's take Luke's entire character, and re-write him as someone who lost all hope. Absolute joke. If they did any old republic story, star wars would be saved. But no. Let's make new stuff that's super woke, that leaves incredibly large plot holes.

@@Izziethefool I like the old star wars. Pre Disney. Just like I still love Tolkien, but not Amazon's Rings of Browner
