I recommend you actually talk to a Jew than take this video as truth. Many religious Jews study the scriptures thoroughly, more so than Christians. They study Hebrew and teach it to their children. They also study the Tanakh (Old Testament) very thoroughly. They also study the Talmud which is Oral Law

As a Mizrahi Jew, I have read and studied the Tanakh in its original language like the majority of other Jews for thousands of years. Hashem specifically said that anyone who repents will be forgiven and forgotten repeatedly. The purpose of the Messiah does not include dying for mankind's sin. In fact, Hashem prohibited human sacrifices. We are an educated people. Who rejects your Messiah. That follows the God of Israel and Israel alone!

The Jesus of the Talmud is not the same as the one prophesied in Old Testament. But, Judaism itself isn't the same as the Old Testament. For example, In the Book of Daniel eternal life and the resurrection from the dead is repeated at least 4 times. Yet, most who follow Judaism do not believe in an afterlife; and those who do, don't agree on how it is we get there. Jewish people don't read the Bible. It's like a lawyer not reading the statutes. How in the world is a Jewish person supposed to know about God and eternal if he or she doesn't read the Bible?

Jews DO read the Bible. They study it in incredible depth in its original language. The NT is not part of the original Scriptures. It was added a few thousand years later. It is not relevant to them, as these additional writings contradict the Jewish Scriptures. And God says Not to add to the Scriptures. The Talmud is not only rabbinical scholarship, which Jews do read and respect, as you would listen to a professor at university. The Torah was given orally, and then Moses wrote it down, as well as Joshua for the final bit. There are things in the written Torah that need Oral explanation. E.G. God says the animals must be slaughtered ‘in the way I have shown you’. There are no written instructions. This was passed on orally, as were the restrictions for the Sabbath, the definition of ‘afflict yourselves’ for Yom Kippur, etc etc.

Jews study the Bible constantly. There is no Old Testament in Judaism. He doesn’t even know what Tanakh means, and he is untruthful about the authenticity and purpose of the Talmud. Jesus is never mentioned in the Talmud. His citation does not even exist. Further, Isaiah is not talking about Jesus. He is never mentioned in the Bible. Isaiah is talking about King Hezekiah. Everyone knew it then, and Jews know it today. This is typical of idol worshipping Christians where they take a verse here and a verse there to justify their fairy tale religion. Read everything in context and entirety and you will see that G-d is One. And he is not a man, he never can be. And it is forbidden for a man to die for another man’s sins. It’s all bogus. I say this in love, stop spreading lies and come to the truth.

Greetings. When you talk about "Jews", you have to understand that there are many types of Jewish denominations or types if you will. You can be Reform, Conservative, Orthodox, Ultra-orthodox, Humanistic, Reconstructionist, etc. Some are like me and are Jewish but don't fall into a denomination. Some are just culture Zionist, some are very religious, etc. Judaism is many things like a philosophy, a theology, and various ideologies. Some Jews embrace modern commentary while many generally look to the ancient Sages. While you can find some rules in the Talmud, many are in the 613 Mitzvah, which you will locate in the "Jewish Bible". As for believing that Jesus is a half man and half god, "Normative Judaism would have a problem with this idea because that is in line with ancient polytheism. For the Jews that claim to believe in Jesus, they are called Messianic Jews. But the truth is, they are just Christians with a different name.

There is something I would like to ask you: what does Jeremiah mean in Jeremiah 31 when he talks about a New Covenant and that it will not be like the one God gave to Moses? Have you ever read or hear about the New Covenant Hashem promised to give?

@@andyfairchild I was told that this verse is in reference to a new hope for the people in exile, that old Jerusalem will be Rebuilt, bigger and better and beyond its weakened borders. This is to help accommodate the population of the Jews, as they have moved around the world. To show the others that the Jews will always be here, even among its inhabitants that hate us and oppress us. As we still breath and believe, God will never allow His People to be destroyed without the destruction on mankind.

@@ezra8435 What we are told by others may or may not be in the Scriptures. I'm sure you would agree. Jeremiah 31:31-33 says the New Covenant will not be like the one given to Moses-it will not be a resurrection of the Old one. In 1 Kings 9:6-7, Hashem says, the Temple will be removed if the Israelites continue to sin. The Temple was removed and God sent His Messiah as described in Isaiah 52 and 53. Hashem said He will do something new, which He did through Jesus. Jesus is the fulfillment of the promises and prophecies in the Torah. It would be wise for all of us to continue comparing what we hear with what is written in the Torah.

@@andyfairchild At the end of the day, none of us really understand fully, what the ancients really meant. The ones that say they do are really the devil. I know what I was told and schooled in. What makes you believe that you are anymore correct in your assessment? This is faith and belief and not all facts. We have been going back and forth for centuries - both Jews and Christians. I believe that Christ is a myth because the ancients of the Talmud never heard of him. But of course - you will think different. No other faith has caused as much damage to the world, as the so call Christians. History shows that. Just like your Catholics have been hiding evil bishops.

The Talmud is one of the most racist pieces of writings ever written.
