Personally the only character I didn’t like as much as the others was monse. Even though she was the glue that did keep the group together she got offended by every single little thing the group did. She was very irritable. For me the most annoying is when Caesar tries to make things work with her and he said “hi I’m Caesar”. As a way of getting her to start things over with him. And when monse didn’t cooperate and said “this is stupid” he walked away then she got mad he was leaving like? And in the last ep she left for mayfield so. Just my opinion

@@nickqurr6481 Its not cringy it’s kinda of relatable if you think about it here’s why Jamal - Jamal is the kid that always tries to impress their parents so they don’t feel like a failure and kind of the depressed friend because he’s feelings are always pushed aside Monse - even though she was a bit annoying and controlling at times I think the reasons why she wants her friend to still be friends is because she’s afraid of them leaving , like how her mother left and how her dad keeps leaving to go to work Caesar - He never wanted to be a gang and I think his only dream is to have a normal life. Also he doesn’t want people leaving ( like his dad ) and he protects those he mean a lot to him Ruby- ruby is the friend that always looks happy but is deep down dead inside. Like if he has. (Spoilers) unpopular opinion: I really think the ending of season 3 was a great ending. It’s realistic and has a deeper meaning than just splitting apart. Everyone became what they didn’t want to become. Monse became a valley girl, Jamal became a football jock, ruby dates jasmine, and Caesar became what his brother once was. It’s a bitter sweet ending since everyone is better off away from each other besides Caesar. But it was his choice to be on top and have “power “

This show is so good, it switches between heartfelt and deeply emotional scenes to funny within but the make it so natural. The chemistry between the whole friend group and everyone’s backstory and character progress is not to mess with. Honestly OMB is one of netflix best shows.

But then he uses actual skin tones for other characters so you become aware that his art style is in fact meant to be based off skin color, and they're just all naked

Lea lol my babies... I love them dearly but yeah. It’s okay though, Most shows with the first season has an awkward phase. Sometimes it’s the acting, Sometimes it’s the plot, sometimes it’s the visuals... etc. That being said... as the show continues they usually get better at everything. This was just my initial reaction. I do not apply it to the show as an entirety because time passes and people get better.
