Do what you love to do and love doing it. At 25 I went back to school to major in physics after leaving a comfortable job. I'm now 27 still in school with aspirations of earning my PhD in physics. It will take another decade, but I'm in love with the journey. Being a full-time student again sucks at times and not making money like I use to sucks too. However, I'm happier than I've ever been because I'm in an environment that caters to my strengths - writing and science. Living one's life for the weekend is the fastest way to unhappiness and obscurity. It will never cease to blow my mind why people save their money to blow it on the weekends, just to pick up where they left off and repeat the same thing again and again until they die. I agree to an extent. I worked harder than others, partied a little bit, spent a little bit too. But I did and still do give myself leisure time to refuel. What good is success if I am dead at 50? I think it's very important to be balanced too.

This is perfect I seriously couldn’t stand seeing people cheering for Friday or planning for Friday. It’s sad and they’re just gonna return to work in two days and complain about Monday.

His point also falls with how ppl now mistake "happiness" for "fun" You're only happy when your having fun. But when the fun is done. You're no longer happy. Friday thru sundays is all fun and party so you think you're happy. But come monday. Ppl are like "FML" I can't wait for the weekend. So what does that say? It says that ppl are not truly happy. They only think they are, but only when they're having fun cuz when the music stops. They hate there lives.

I love the weekend because the weekend is the time where I can do the most, on the weekdays I have to do school work and also try to push in my personal work.

I have been deceiving myself with the thought that I should study sciences in order to find good employement. Two years that I spent struggling and failing exams after exams. I'm finally pursuing and studying my passion of art ! 😊 Now I can't wait for the fridays because they mean a whole free weekend full of artistic creation !

I'm 39 now and more ready then ever. Right this second as I type this I'm excited in a very humble way. I still go at it as hard as humanly possible. Hey Brother, Just discovered you on the Bigger Pockets podcast and pre ordered the audio version of Crushing It a few weeks ago. Sort of forgot about it till i got the notification that it was available. About 1/3 of the way through it and i'm already so pumped about massively boosting my social media presence with the launch of my new business. Just had a pretty major life change that you actually spoke about in the book (left my job to care for an aging parent). But there's no freaking way that's going to in any way slow me down. It's just another challenge and blessing God has put in my life. Thanks fr your work, your drive and your freaking relentless spirit. You're an inspiration bro!!!

That's so cool!!! Congrats, I do commercial real-estate and mobile homes. Found a great niche for creating passive income for folks. Love working with young people and teaching them that there's no limits and they don't need to wait for someone else to give them a raise. They can create something themselves and love their lives in the process.

You know you are surrounded by the right people when everyone has to seriously think hard of what day it is. Every day is a hustle. Every day is a opportunity to do something great.
