Why Do I Have So Much Respect For Sikhism? Golden Temple, Amritsar, India 🇮🇳

Sikhism Inspires Me 🇮🇳
I returned to India to do further exploration of the southern part of the country for the next 30 days. But before I start my trip, I had to see Golden Temple again taking the opportunity of arriving in Amritsar from Bali.
It is not a secret Sikh community is one of the nicest, most caring, kind people I have ever met on my travels. You might be wondering who a Sikh person is. The short answer you can recognize them from their turban.
The long answer a Sikh is a person who believes in Sikhism. Sikhism - is the fifth-largest religion in the world, founded in the Punjab region with 30 million believers these days. The Sikh faith is a monotheistic religion, meaning Sikhs worship one God.
Sikhism inspires me and gives me hope for a better humanity, and a better future. Sikhism is all about equality regardless of religion, race, sex, or religion. And this is a reality in their daily life, but most importantly the holiest temple of the Sikh community called the Golden Temple is a great example.
How Golden Temple has 4 entrances welcoming everyone from every side, how the place provides free food every second of the day with no questions to anyone, and how the place functions logistically with the community work of volunteers.
Sikhs uphold the values of honesty, generosity, humility, and service on a daily basis.
I had the pleasure to be there and dress like Sikh to show love, appreciation, and respect once again! 🙏🏽

@@tubro541 A sikh can never be a supremacist. We say in Sikhism " Man neeva matt uchi " which means ~ Discard your ego and live the life with high morals and humbleness. I am just pointing out the fact that one has to greet people according to the customs. And just because you're an indian doesn't necessarily mean that you'd use Namaste. "Namaste" is a specific term used by hindu community only. Don't expect every indian to use it. India has a huge cultural diversity. And Sikhism is a different religion , we sikhs never use any other greeting other than " sat sri akaal" which means "God is the timeless one and he's the truth". They say " it takes a thief to catch a thief". If you are calling me a supremacist, maybe you are one yourself.

@@jigsawsaw455 no ,a Sikh should greet in his own way and a hindu should in his own way after understanding well what he means when he greets . Sat Sri akal means the three names of the supreme ; sat = truth Sri = supreme Akal = the one who is not confined in time Namastay means I put down my ego before you. Both are very beautiful way of greeting .

Hi, just for your information, you can help the Scholars around the world. There is information about Guru Nanak (the one who started Sikhism) visiting Azerbaijan and there are places still existing but no one know about them. I suggest if you dig out more information on them do blogs on it, the Sikh Nation shall be indebted to you and there's a high chance that your work will be recognised quite well
