  This guy isn't very tactful. I think he says the wrong things a lot. It's just that the people in Sri Lanka are polite, very nice people and they may not fully understand him all the time.   There is no authentic Maldivian food aside of mashuni which is consist of tuna ,onion and coconut. But the most strange thing here that they are using caned tuna and the fresh tuna is in everywhere in the Maldivian sea 🤷🏻‍♂️
