Glad to hear you're feeling better! 😊 Keep up the good work, you can and will get 100% back to normal: www.dpmanual.com/articles/back-to-normal-after-depersonalization/
i smoked weed in middle school & dealt with dpdr for 2 years & i feel like i recovered 98%. Its been 15 years & even tho i had rare episodes i was always ok. a week & a half ago i started getting episodes more frequent because of some triggers & now its persistent again. its been hell but i recovered from it once, when i was still developing so i have faith i will recover again. keep the faith cus its possible , even if it feels impossible. thanks for these videos cus its a great reminder for me.

Thanks for your comment Mike, and I'm very glad the videos have been so useful 😊 And don't worry, it doesn't matter what triggered the DPDR or how long it's lasted, it's still harmless and temporary and you can and will get 100% back to normal: www.dpmanual.com/articles/back-to-normal-after-depersonalization/

Hey guys, just so you know, these feelings can exist as a manifestation of OCD, if you are having trouble with feelings similar to this, seek psychiatric help, they can help you regardless of whats going on.
And also My brain keeps telling me that I’m a different person, I feel weird when am in public. Why is my brain making me feel that way ?

Is the absence of fear and worry and anxiety a start of DPDR recovery? They're like low and I'm not afraid anymore, this suddenly happened one morning, I still feel and have some DPDR symptoms but just not bothered enough by it is this normal?

@@Dpmanual Thank you Shaun it is helpful. I am certainly recovering. Also a MASSIVE suggestion for your channel, you do not nearly cover enough fear on visual and auditory hallucination anticipations, since well now that you are recovered you don't view them as something HUGE, however as a pure out of heart suggestion you should do some video including these anticipations very specifically, since the symptoms and explanations are so broad these 2 are not covered commonly and they are the major fears of many many people suffering from the fear of schizophrenia. You could help many young people with this specific fear by letting them know that! Peace Shaun God's with you!
