The reason "age doesn't matter" is because "money matters more than age". Money is a higher priority than a partner's age. Financial stability, loyalty, and Age... if you ask a girl to pick 2 from the 3 i mentioned, age would probably never be picked. It all boils down to priority and age just isn't a high priority considering everything else.

I think when Filipinas say age doesn't matter they mean exactly what you're saying. I asked several, and one is a teacher, about their meaning of age does not matter. I was told that age is just a number. The important thing is a responsible, and mature man that will not cheat on them or leave them. Some of them are intrigued by an older guy that has experience in life and are interested in learning.

I don't hold any ill will to guys who date younger women. In fact, I struggled a lot through my 20's with dating. It's hard for a young man to establish himself both monetarily and confidence (and in retrospect I am glad I didn't jump into relationships during this building time). Now I do have unwanted attention from younger women in the states, it's like a switch flips at 30, but I'm happily paired to a filipina who is 4 years younger than me at 26. I think there is truth in the observation that men and women are attracted to different traits. Women seem to be more attracted to a competent, confident man who can support himself and others (I could not do that at 25!).

It is not a requirement to have all your sh*it together at 25 yr. What women in general want is competence. So long as you are working hard towards your goal, you are sexy to many women of quality. And Pinays are the most forgiving women around - you do not have to be good-looking but of good character and they will want you. Now - if good looking too, you will have lots of extras. LOL!

The bottom line is it's nobody's business but the two people that are in love. The end!

If she is under 18 yrs, she is protected by law. If she is 65 yrs, she is protected by nature. But anything in between is all fair game. LOL! Do NOT sweat too much of it. It is not dating man - just prolonged hook-ups. I have seen women stay w/ older men w/ some means...until another more good-looking and more means old others come along. Sam are you Asian or Mexican? "Age Doesn't matter" means "Love is Blind" its almost like a similar Phrase. Filipinas are very family oriented, respects elders, polite, kind, and if the person respect her that's fine. It's not like in the Western World the Phrase "No Money, No Honey" Some Filipina women adapted that phrase mostly from foreign old white men taking advantage for the younger Filipina or vice versa, as long you can feed the young Girl as long as she is an Adult and not under age, and you can provide or support her family then you are Okay in the Philippines 🇵🇭That's why Filipinas are Amazing Nurses and Caregivers, they know how to take care of the old, elderly. In America when you reach the Senior Citizen Age, you get shunned by the younger women and Relatives and the white Society get rid of you and send you to the Nursing Home!.... So to me Age doesn't matter to a younger Filipina. I dont generalize, not all Filipinas are good but majority thinks Age doesn't matter, as a Filipino I believe you can meet your forever in the Philippines. Why do people make it sound so complicated? In any country where the economy doesn't offer very many choices or opportunities, older foreigners can offer a WORLD of change in a filipina's life and mainly for the betterment of her and her family. It works here in the Philippines. Been in and out of the Philippines since 2007, married a Filipina, bought a house, deal with 5 of her siblings, retired in Cebu City and enjoying the Islands. If the Philippines had a better economy, like Korea, Japan, Singapore or any 1st world country, old men couldn't get those young gals. Think about it.

I understand about money and family. But again the older man like me who is fixed can’t have kids. Like the young man can give the kids. But on other hand I have little more money than 200 a month . I met a young lady last year she’s 24 I’m 58 I told her I’m not looking to get married but never say never but I told her I can’t have kids. On last trip she did not want to see me because the kid thing and I understand. But she reached out and we are back I call talking she calls dating. But plan on spending time and hopefully you guys will meet her when we get together. She’s a lot of fun. She studying to take state exam police officer in January so need to figure her schedule even if end of January we get together. As always I liked your video nice job Sam

And love can just happen and there's only this intense attraction that makes you forget things including your age. That's why for some people when they fall in love, they will feel like they're young again. They wouldn't mind about the age. Hence, age doesn't matter. But yeah, for some age matters. Compatibility matters more than a specific age gap, however, if one's age means that you can't reach goals or you can't relate to meet each others needs, that's when it can be an issue, I think. So one should consider not just now but a decade or two in the future. Is a 70 year old with a 50 year old a mismatch? I don't think its necessarily a mismatch. So can a 45 year old marry a 25 year old. I think it's reasonable. The 70 vs 20 year old, that seems problematic. I do think that folks need to put some thought to this but from a compatibility point of view. Does she what children when you're done with that? Its these side issues that will matter and don't necessarily believe it if she says that children are not an issue. Age doesn't matter but compatibility does.

I've never thought "having things in common" was an imperative in a relationship, and there's many other "things" which attract people to each other; personality, looks, attitude, goals, opinions and yes, money (which is always a part of a relationship). So, when you weigh the "factors" in "age gap relationships" it's not so simple to define and detail what brings people together, and when there are "differences" between a couple, that can actually be a positive; it's always easy to observe others and form your "opinions" based on what you see (and maybe hear), but you don't really know the "big picture" and all of the "parts of the puzzle", so you base your "judgement" on your own personal views on life, morals, and experiences.

In just those three basic uncommon things. We will spend most of our time apart… what is a relationship when you have everything else but you don’t spend time together. Why even be in a relationship. Hi Sam you are correct age does matter, I personally cannot see myself with a women in her twenties while I am a block away from my seventies, I could not believe that a women that young would find me attractive and would assume she is here for other reasons and I think I would be right, these young ladies are dating up because of what you bring to the table not because they can"t take their eyes off of you, ha ha, I would not be a wise Oldman if I thought I could pull a twenty year old at this age. In my own experience i never had any issues with the younger girls i dated or their friends and family because i don't ever mention the age thing or make a big deal out of it..."as the older guy as long as you truly believe sincerely that she's lucky to be with a successful and cool older guy like yourself she'll be most likely trying to prove herself to you instead of the other way around. (when older guys act surprised and feel unworthy that they're dating a girl young enough to be his daughter that's when the young girl will probably start reconsidering her decision of dating this older guy because he's showing insecurity) and this doesn't just apply to filipinas in the Philippines, this applys to any young girl in any country.

I have three daghters. They are 40, 38, and 35 yrs. old. They will slways be "kids" to me. I cant picture myself being in a relationship with a kid. Thats me... But if you are happy good for you.

This is just my honest take on “age doesn’t matter” some will agree some not. I would say it all depends, woman differs in many ways, some goes only for money( if you have money) some like older men thinking they are more likely to be sincere, respectful and responsible. Most Filipina women would like to have a happy marriage or relationship. Age doesn’t matter applies to all even here in America, i know few of them, but honestly it’s more common in Asia.

i really don't like that phrase ... age doesn't matter .... every i hear that i say age doesn't matter if you have money ... only a young lady can say that to a foreigner to convince him to be with her ... and the old foreigner will believe that yo fulfill his fantasy ... a young lady will not marry a poor man of her age unless there is true love ... an old foreigner will not marry someone close to his age or older ... how many foreigner in his old age has married a women his age or older? ... age does matter ... another phrase i hate is age is just a number ... so is the amount of money in your bank account ... so is your income ... age matter when you are dating a young filipina and you are 10 or 20 years older than her father or the same age as her grandfather and possibly older than him ... all men will like a younger woman in their old age but i can't see my self being with someone 20 years max younger than me ... i just don't see it other than just a fantasy

What sickens me is Filipinos do not police their own beaches and clean up the trash. Especially after a storm. Look at all the plastic items and other junk that kill or injure wildlife and are a danger especially to kids who might step on something sharp that coukd cut them or is disease ridden(tetanus).

"Money matters" and when the money is there, age doesn't matter anymore. Have you ever known a Filipina to marry a 30 year older poor Filipino? Why should she? He cannot support her any more than a same age Filipino. And how many rich Filipinas do you know who married an older foreigner? Because they don't need his money! They can support themselves and can therefore marry anyone they like. And it's no different in the west. Who gets to date or marry beautiful young American or European women? The prince, the actor, the business tycoon! Not the taxi driver or the garbage collector! So yes: age does matter! But for money and status they are willing to turn a blind eye.

But, I have a story..I think I was in the Philippines, my 2nd yr, I had a gf…and then I met another beautiful Filipina… feeling guilty if I start dating her before I break up with my current gf…so I’m in a taxi in Manila…and I mentioned my situation to the driver ( don’t we all? 🤣) his reply…I kid you not, “ even the homeless has at least 3 gf in the Philippine “ which, makes me think, I’m not as rich as I think I am, or as good looking as I think I am…

I think it’s a lot how children love their parents. They love them because they represent security and they recognize that they’re loved and will be cared for. Nothing wrong with that. Just not the Hollywood kind of love we’re shown. In the end, the feelings are solely the concern of the two people sharing it. My only concern is the thoughts and feelings of the woman sharing my bed. Good luck in your relationships all.

When they reach their 30's+, its about the biological clock if they don't have kids. Thats why many woman consider themselves old, even if they look young.

Well my opinion and this is just my opinion on the topic age doesn't matter a lot of foreigners including myself have heard this phrase over and over age doesn't matter from Filipinas and the reason they say this in my opinion is the older foreigners taking care of the Filipino and her family y'all been conversating for few months maybe close to a year and she starts telling you she loves you she misses you first if you start talkin on it the dating sites and then you meet her in person you could you come to the Philippines and you meet her and her family and then you start taking care of her and her family and she's telling you she loves you and you're providing for her and her family she's telling you this that she loves you because of what you're doing for her what you're providing for her and her fam and as long as you're doing that she's going to stay with you but there is an age Gap say if you're in your 50s or 60s and she maybe in her twenties or thirties well there's a difference in life experience where she really doesn't have any life experience and you do the Foreigner you really don't have anything in common so basically you're teaching her and leading her and being the provider and this is why she may tell you she loves you but is the love that what you're doing for her I don't believe that they love you for the person that you are I say this because this is what I've experienced so you have to be careful when you come to the Philippines you have to properly vet these Filipinas when you start talking about getting into a serious relationship with them because you're setting yourself up for failure and you're setting yourself up to be used so there has to be a vetting process at least 12 to 24 months and don't be quick to leave with your wallet because leading with your wallet get you used so I would say any Foreigner that comes to the Philippines and meet these young Filipinas online take your time and properly vet these females because you have the experience life experience that know how the leadership and these young Filipinas de tell you what you want to hear and another thing the family influences the young Filipina to use the older Foreigner so you have to be cautious because in my opinion age does matter

I agree with you, Reggie. I’ve done pretty much what your comment have said. Almost 15yrs in the Philippines now. It’s been a journey. A lovely journey. Wouldn’t have trade it for anything in the world.

Just be careful when you meet your girlfriend's women relatives that are even more good-looking coz hard to resist. LOL> Do not get tied down too fast. I have been that route before when my date has way better looking cuzzins. And..they are friendly too? YOu are over-thinking this, Sam. I put it this way - like bowling, you have 10 pins and you gotta hit them all. LOL>

When I was 57-59 my gf in the USA was 31-33. When we met she thought I was in my 40s because I was in phenomenal shape. In fact we did not discuss each other's ages until our 2nd date when she told me she had to get a baby sitter for her 9 and 11 year old girls as she told me she had kids but did not mention their ages on the first date. She is a Latina and like many Asians look much younger. It is also common in their culture to date older mature men. One big difference than in most of these Philippines age gap relationships. The thing that attracted her to me initially was how I looked and that I was in physical shape. It was more of a shock when I told her my age. So when I arrive in the Philippines age will matter because I will want to hear why she wants to date me upfront and if I don't here Gwapo or pogo often then she is looking for $

@@SAMLAMB Thank you in return. I retired to the Philippines with my Filipina wife, whom I met in HK, 4 years ago. We have a son together and I have adopted her daughter, who is now pursuing a decent career in Architecture. I also support our niece, who is studying Pharmacy. That costs money. However,these girls will have decent careers and be able to support themselves and their families. It pains me to think about how many intelligent and gifted individuals there are in the Philippines who cannot get on in life purely through a lack of cash. I made a lot of money in Hong Kong - an unforgiving business environment if you are not prepared to put in the hours - and re-invested it in the Philippines, in property and business interests. We employ 9 Filipinos as well as supporting the various kids. I don't expect gratitude for doing what I believe is the right thing to do but I receive it and am appreciative of it.

My Filipina wife and I met and had a child together. She knew I was OK financially but not how OK. We were together for 4 years before we left HK for the Philippines. Her friends in HK knew I was doing ok, but it wasn't until I bought property in the Philippines and showed her my wealth she realised how much I actually had. BTW, when we met she was 37 and I was 48. Nine years later, we are still doing fine. The point I am making is that she wasn't after me for my money. She's now got the bucks but she never expected them. Her family knows the score. They get no handouts. They work for us and get associated benefits.

Nope…I’ve seen many , Koreans , Chinese, Japanese, African Americans and all the Caucasian with beautiful Filipinas. The Filipinas. Are just like all the women in the world when it comes to Race. As long as you respect them, love them… they will stay with you…it doesn’t matter what color you are. If you’re going to disrespect and use them. They are not going to be with you.
