Honestly in a World where a Bakugou Katsuki was loved back in Early seasons 1-3 while Jax is getting amounts of hate from fans for the 2nd Episode, even though Bakugou had done worst stuff than Jax in his introduction.

all three are chaotic. cartman is true chaotic evil. bender is chaotic neutral or chaotic good. Jax is more accurately true chaotic neutral.

Jax, the guy who used Pomni and Ragatha as bait so he could escape from Kaufmo, who he told no one he abstracted, while throwing Kinger and Gangle to the pit so he could continue running away Its no surprising at all that he's just being even more of a jerk now Pomni's part of the family

Now when you mentioned possibility of Jax and Kaufmo being at good terms, I think the way it goes is: Jax's pranks were making everyone mad but Kaufmo, he was the one who laugh at them and even make joke coments on them, which was reason for Jax to get more into his prankster personality since he acually liked Kaufmo's joke coments, Jax would even talk with Kaufmo about pranks he want to do on others and Kaufmo would be joking on flaws of them and telling Jax possibilities of pranks going wrong but in joke way, it would cause Jax to not only laugh but also to improve his pranks, rest of the circus wouldn't like Kaufmo's jokes because they were usually about them being pranked by Jax. Jax had his bowling ball in Kaufmo's room because it was newest prank he came up with. When Kaufmo started to getting crazy over the exit Jax would asume it is another of Kaufmo's jokes and just laugh at them as usually. When Pomni came to the circus Jax wanted to prank her with his partner in crime Kaufmo, Jax asumed that behind the door he will be ready to see Kaufmo with Jax's bowling ball ready to throw at the guest but instead Jax saw the only person who ever seen his pranks in good light abstracted, Jax not being very emotional would run away knowing how dangerous abstracted characters are, Jax would ocupate himself with adventure to not think about losing his only "friend" but something would feel empty, Jax didn't had the funny comments at the end of the pranks, to try fill up the void he would start to going more and more agresive on his pranks just having fun with it. When Jax got on Candy adventure he would be trying to get everything as brutal as possible because he just lost person he was the closest with. Jax would be able to get his thoughts away from Kaufmo thanks for puting expectations to having big final battle, but when it didn't happend he got a bit depressed since only escape he got for himself was comfimed impossible to get, Jax would even get angry at Ragatha after she would comfort him with her "meaby next adventure will have more violence", reason behind Jax's reaction would be that he knows if he won't ocupate himself with anything soon he will end up like Kaufmo. Lucky for Jax, his little plan with keys to kingdom worked and Jax had his joy with imagining how it would go, keeping himself ocupated. When others wanted to do funeral for Kaufmo, Jax would get sentimental but he would quickly hide it, afraid that him getting softer will cause his abstraction, he knew that Kaufmo wasn't only his partner in crime but also his friend, and his guard angel who kept his pranks safe and hearing others saing speaches about those sides of Kaufmo would make Jax soft down, which Jax would see as step to abstraction so he would just go back to his room... planing next prank, like in old good times... but this time alone... without good friend's hand on his shoulder...

Bro wrote a whole essay, but very interesting! I like the idea of that being part of his character! I am sure that knowing this show, they would give Jax's character reason for why he acts like the way he is, since Glitch has said that the whole show is about exploring and getting to know the characters, it would be weird if they just made Jax 100% evil for evil's sake for no good reason at all

Like Valentino from Hazbin, people despise him for what he did in episode 4, which was exactly what he was supposed to do: piss off the audience. That’s what makes him a good character, not in the sense that he’s actually GOOD, but because he fulfills the role of being a total piece of shit as he is purposed for.

Makes me kinda sad to see people hating the character for "Being annoying" when it is, you know, LITERALLY THEIR PURPOSE? You can blame a character foi being annoying due to their bad writting, but we should praise annoying characters when they were made to be this way and are executed quite well And we basically have nothing about Jax yet, so we don't even know what's behind his intentions at all. Feels wrong to judge him this early

In my opinion, everyone is allowed to dislike a character for their personality. Like, I don’t like the joker much for what he did to Jason, but I still think he’s a pretty good character. Everyone is allowed to have their opinions on a character.

My general understanding of this controversy is that fans thought they were getting another Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel, but instead wound up with a Simon from Infinity Train 😅

While he isn’t my *first favorite,* he’s definitely in the Top 5 for me. Plus, Gooseworx did say he’d get worse down the line, so it’s expected the fandom will narrow down more. 😅

Jax is my favorite, because he doesn't act sad or crazy about his predicument. He is funny and bad which makes him very entertaining. (Ik some ppl don't see him the same way, but that's their problem and they shouldn't bother me about it.)

You would think these people didn't watch the same pilot we all did where Jax openly left Ragatha and Pomni at the mercy of Kaufmo to save his own skin, admitted he made keys of everyone's rooms and even left centipedes in Ragatha's knowing it would scare her, actively did not care when Zooble got kidnapped and openly mocked and belittled both Kinger and Gangle. Jax has always been a dick that thrives on people's misery. Sorry not sorry you guys weren't paying attention when Goose herself said he was a bad person or in the pilot where it was actively shown he was a bad person.

Jax is my fav character bc of how much he relates to me or the things I would do or say,Jax is like my mean side,Ragatha is my nice and sympathetic side and Pomni is my crazy or depressed side

I love Jax 💜, no matter what he do in the show, he'll always be my favourite character, because I think he has a really heartbreaking backstory. It's obvious he's wearing a mask to hide his true feelings.

Becaouse toxic fangirls have made up a whole different Jax in their head, and when he is acting like an asshole, they get offended

I genuinely believe that Jax is someone who struggles with boredom, is selfish, a bully, probably the type of person who enjoys terrorizing NPC's in video games, and copes by being apathetic... BUT I also believe he does somewhere deep down care about the others. In episode 1, similar to Pomni, he ran away but unlike her he didn't hesitate about leaving them behind (1. he doesn't know Pomni like that and 2. maybe he doesn't like Ragatha all that much), but later on he purposefully pushes Gangle and Kinger into the hole to get them away from Abstracted Kaufmo. (You can see his fear clearly when he hears Kaufmo's roar before he throws the bowling ball, so despite bullying Gangle a lot he seemed to care enough to get them out of there instead of leaving those two.) I also believe he didn't tell Kinger and Gangle about Kaufmo Abstracting was to not freak them out unnecessarily (it's mentioned earlier that they're the least stable + the conversation would take too much time with characters like them which might annoy him/cause Kaufmo to have time to catch up). Finally, despite how he acted in Episode 2, he clearly was sad over Kaufmo's funeral (whether for himself or Kaufmo) as it's the first time since it happened that it was brought up. While he didn't attend he also didn't lash out and ruin it for anyone else either, which I think is pretty unexpected and actually good of him. If he was a truly evil or malicious person he would have done something even worse than what he already does. I don't think he's a good person, but I don't think he's this villain that won't ever change as the story goes on. Maybe he'll get worse before he gets better or maybe he'll have to face his demons before that can happen, but for now I like how he was in episode 2 and can't wait to see how he develops! Truly only the strongest of Jax fans will survive whatever comes.

i'm probably a psychopath but after ep 2 I started liking him more. i mean in ep 1 Jax was a typical "bad guy" who bothers others cuz of psychical scars, and now he is a bad character in a completely different meaning, which i really like. There definitely won’t be any redemption for Jax anytime soon. Gooseworx said that Jax will only get worse. I have a few theories on how the series would end. 1. Everyone but Jax abstracts and he goes insane 2. Jax himself abstracts from something and nobody would care enough about him to hold a funeral (perhaps even Ragatha will hate him as the show goes on)

none of those characters are alike, don't make comparisons that don't hold up.

I understand why ppl dont like him, but c'mon, he COMPLETELY understands that they are in a GAME where none of the main cast can't be killed besides abstraction (at least that is currently the case so far), so he is treating it as such. It's similar to when someones plays a game like GTA, they are ruthless since they no there are absolutely no consequences.

I think it's possible that Jax could have been the one who pushed Kaufmo over the edge. Jax may not have known that Kaufmo fully abstracted but perhaps some kind of argument about the exit transpired between the two the night before. Jax wasn't even at Kaufmo's funeral and I think he could be hiding some guilt and is trying not to care. I theorize that he will be the one who will abstract and according to Ragatha once a person abstracts it is possible to turn them back if it is caught early. My prediction is that the remaining gang will need to find out the truth and save Jax. Am I pulling straws? Probably, but until more episodes come out this is the best I got.

I honestly don't get why people suddenly hate Jax, even with his more “evil” actions in Ep. 2.
