Alright so here’s my theory. Gummigoo has proved that NPCs can become self aware of what they are and can express feelings like depression, sadness, etc. Basically whatever emotion isn’t their default one, as we know when circus members abstract they are thrown into a pit by Caine. Ragatha states Caine also likes to ‘Reuse’ NPCs, but what if this is because there is a limited amount of them? The point I’m trying to say is when a circus member abstracts, Caine in the future is able to cure/transform them into a NPC, since being abstracted means you’re already mindless he may be able to give them fake memories in that state and cure them, when he says ‘I want to test out new AI’ He could be referring to Kuafmo. Can’t wait for future episodes tho, and this theory doesn’t have a lot to back it up.

I really liked this idea, but Caine already proved he *can't.* The one thing he can't control and I quote is: "Your minds." That being the minds of the humans stuck in the Circus, which is why the abstraction happens. It's further proven that, when he sends Kuafmo to Nowhere-I-Don't-Know-Land from that pitch black hole, there's many others there just... Not doing anything, I guess. Still, the "reuse" from Ragatha is interesting, but most likely means that we will see some characters later down the line making a comeback against Caine or somethin' similar...

@@henriquemachado9941 Hmmm… Just a question, since Caine is hiding stuff from the players and us, couldn’t another thing be his powers? I mean like in Candy Cane Kingdom, he was literally depicted as God in a Christian-Like fashion, if you look into Christianity, God can literally do anything. As you said, Caine can’t control a humans mind just like God in Christianity (please correct me if I’m wrong).

⁠@@Agheqwell god, in christianity can control minds, he just doesn’t. God likes giving the option to do good/ evil but if things got very bad he may use mind controlling. However, tho he doesn’t use mind control he does give gentle pushes. for example, if you went to eat something and it was poisoned, in christianity it’s said that he would maybe come through your mind and give a push like, “look inside the green isn’t lettuce” etc. Therefore i think they may have referred to caine as a different type of god, like from a different religion, maybe. (if i’m wrong please do correct me! i’m open to learning i also like to read so make the message as long as you’d like!)

I am laughing at how people's theories about caine being evil that's he's up to something, when gooseworx stated long time ago, that caine isn't evil villain, he is just an ai, who's doesn't understand human emotions, and programmed to entertain players. He doesn't mean harm, but all he's doing it's leading to harm, but he doesn't understand that, and he can't emphasize with them because he lacks a wide spectrum of human emotions. He is not a villain, but he's antagonist because he's an obstacle to our main Characters.

I think it's kinda cute that Caine wants to appease Zooble and I wonder if it's going to be a episodic gag

Caine sorta is the antagonist, but I do get that Caine is a lil tragic himself since his function is supposed to entertain the humans. He doesn’t realize before killing Gummigoo is that Pomni actually cares for him bc he was mostly the one she can relate and get along with, pretty much he doesn’t have the means or knows how to analyze what the humans feels during all of this. Hopefully in the next episode Pomni will be able to get along with the characters as that’s supposed to be the premise of the second episode that they all truly just have each other. At least the qoute “Caine likes to reuse his NPC’s” least gives us the implication that Gummigoo could return and since he is mostly in the promotional merch it does seem like he’ll play a significant role and is technically part of the group sorta in spirit. Just hopefully we get to see Gummigoo again.

This all makes sense, Caine himself is an AI that is kinda Unstable, and he's making these adventures, these _"Levels"_ with many bugs, and he was stuttering wanting the group to go into the candy canyon kingdom, not evil, but accidentally sabotaging the members, hurting them but not realising

I hope the next episode isn't too far away like how we waited from Episode 1 to 2. The fact that Jax's hand was also there holding to Pomni means Jax actually has a soft spot and his arrogant personality is just a cover. Caine also mentioned about powerful AI, maybe getting rid of Gummigoo was a right choice since AI is getting stronger that they can blend in with humans. But if it's that true, isn't the red monkeys that Pomni accidentally released from a barrel are NPCs too or they're humans too? But I don't see why NPC blending with humans would be a bad thing.

Caine actually also did this in episode 1 Cause in ep 1 when Pomni thought she saw the exit door he said that she was having “Digital Hallucinations” and changed the subject And then in ep 2 when Pomni try’s to mentions the reality of the game and she says “so our entire existence here is just larping” Caine pushed them into the portal. It seems like Caine wants to give them constant distractions and even when Kaufmo abstracted he acted like nothing was wrong.

Gooseworx actually said that the characters could remember parts of their lives before the circus

He himself becomes more aware, basically becoming a human in a sense, learning, watching, growing. So basically, what if he's Janet from The good place.

I honestly believe Caine can not only cure Abstraction, but also inflict Abstraction on those he doesn't like or on those he can't entertain, even if they don't show signs of Mental Instability.

I have a mini theory that Gummigoo knews to be a human but turned into a npc by Caine.That’s why he has feelings and emotions but also has a backstory.He might come back to the circus as another character

Btw..the pins on the glitch merch shop for tadc has LORRRRREE! they showed their rooms in the background of the display for the pins( idk if it’s cannon or not but I mean it’s on the offical merch website so I would think so) but for jax they strangely didn’t show his room..its just the outside of his room. With a broken sign with the word jax on it. And parts of the walls are ripped where it leads into the void. So maybe they didn’t want to show jax room cause it might spoil something idk..Also the wacky watch has updated!! its a screenshot of when Gummi goo burst into confetti..I feel like glitch is just making fun of me at this point..r.i.p Gummigoo you will be missed😔😔 Anyways hope you liked me mini theory also my fav room out of all of them is definitely Gangles or Zoobles it looks so pretty :0

If yall want to know here’s my theory: Matilda is Pomni because in one video on ep one is a computer and Matilda was at work and Pomni doesn’t know where how or when she was there so Caine is not an ai he is half ai and half human and gummigoo is a ai plus one human and Caine doesn’t know if he is an ai because how can he monitor them because he is having dinner but also it might be a 50/50 bc gummigoo might not be a npc and I think Caine isn’t really looking out for then and back to my theory about why Caine isn’t an ai it’s because he doesn’t glitch and bubble is another story so I think Caine is a human being optimistic or sarcastic about his smile and maybe Kaufmo wasn’t abstract and he was trapped in th void somewhere but Caine doesn’t know because maybe he broke his wacky watch and it’s like an III situation so yeah gummigoo and Caine are 50/50 percent of human and ai because you can not forget something if- well actually if they got the ai from character ai then my theory is screwed and so yes that’s it😅it’s long Ik BUT GODAMN THERES MORE Jax is an npc from his past like the narrator said from the last time and Jax died as a human came back from the dead became a cold hearted npc 😢😢😢save me from finishing this esssay Jax was FREINDS with Kaufmo the last time he was human and then Jax died abstracted like Kaufmo and he was programmed to be an cold hearted person and he lost his memory like Pomni when she first entered the circus she forgot her name and Jax forgot everything even the memories of Kaufmo and him but when the funeral has been done he remembered for a bit and he acts like his character and acts sad sooo pt2? Caine doesn't seem to be a right or wrong character. When mentioning what might happen if he couldn't tell the difference between NPC's and players it seemed as if he knew something we didn't. Pomni now knows that any NPC that enters the circus would get deleted. So would she be evil for leaving other NPC's behind in future adventures?

Ok, here me out on this one. I know Caine and bubble are supposed to be AI but what if they are the games developer and co developer? Caine mentions that he is scared of what will happen if he confuses humans and game characters, when he and bubble are technically game characters themselves. Also we notice in the one clip a human (most likely Caine) standing next to a computer showing the game 3:22 and the person filming is bubble to help show their creation. When they go and try to play the games themselves however they get sucked into the game like pomni and the others did. Caine and bubble lost not only their memories but part of their humanity. Caine has slowly watched several characters abstract over the years which is why he acts the way he dose trying to hide the fact he feels sorrow and is somewhat a mental wreck like pomni which is why he and bubble not only have abilities the others don’t but is always pushing the characters towards new adventures. 😅
