Since I was young I've prayed for compassion, love, understanding, wisdom and strength. Later on I heard somewhere God gives you the opportunities to fulfill your prayers. If you pray for strength God will provide opportunities to be strong. God is not a Genie in a bottle, He is All. The True God is a Loving God...God IS Love. He knows how you and I learn and gives us every opportunity to do so. Whether it's a way you like or not God knows each opportunity He gives you is the answer to your prayers. Denial makes only your life more difficult. Accept His...God's Love, please.

Before I met my girlfreind I would pray every day for a woman to come into my life. Then I met her out the blue. She ended up breaking my soul. I always wonder why god would let such thing happen. Now I know what was purpose. I asked god for love ❤️ and he sent me a person who was in trouble who needed love the most. I gave her everything only be left broken. So now I pray for god to give me strength and courage.

You know... I listen to this and I cannot help but think of people who commit suicide. People who starve to death. People who freeze to death in their own homes. People who die of horrifically painful diseases. Babies born with deformities or disease, who live short, agonising lives. I listen to this, and I cannot help but think that this man is looking back onto a life where he was lucky enough to not have to worry about where his next meal was coming from, or whether he would be murdered, or how he would make ends meet. I can't help but think about all the people who aren't that lucky. And I can't help but think of this as the empty rhetoric of a man who does not want to think about the gravity of the question put to him. I cannot help but think how little thought he gives the question, of how he never truly answers it. Because I cannot help but think that, deep down, he knows the answer, and that he must protect himself from that answer at all costs...

If God exists, and is all powerful, and all knowing, then the fact that suffering exists in the world means that there can only be one possible answer: yes. The only alternative is that he lacks one of those aspects - omnipotence, omniscience, or existence. Suggesting a reason why he may allow this does not get you around this, by the way. Whether you think that he has some greater goal in mind is totally irrelevant. If he is all powerful and all knowing, he would be able to achieve that goal, to the exact same extent, without any suffering whatsoever. He would have to have CHOSEN the option that included suffering. Which means he wants us to suffer. The point is this: if he did not want us to suffer, we would not. We do, so, for whatever reason, he does. Or he is not all powerful or all knowing, or he simply does not exist. That's why the man in the clip, or more accurately the person who wrote the script, ducks out of giving a straight yes or no answer to what he knows is a yes or no question: he knows the answer. It's yes. No matter how you slice it. Hence the empty rhetoric: he knows the answer is yes, and he is desperately trying to distract himself and listeners from that unavoidable conclusion. The fact that, even while giving all these qualifiers and excuses, he still cannot bring himself to give a straight yes or no answer is very telling. He knows that the answer is yes, and he also knows how it will sound if he gives that answer. Yet he cannot answer no, because he knows that would be a lie. So he avoids the question and tries to distract the listeners, and himself, from the very simple truth of the matter.

@@TheSquallAce Or Maybe God has a plan already to end the suffering one day? Yeah. Read the book of Revelations and you know what that answer will be. God will remove the suffering and all evil from the face of the earth. The only reason God hasn't done it yet is because he is patiently waiting for us to turn to him or he will have to be consistent in judging us for our wicked thoughts and actions but he gave us a way out in Christ Jesus. It's just up to us at this point to accept it but we don't have much time. God will set things right one day.

People that want to blindly lie and deceive themselves from that statement alone. I’m a Christian and I knowing the truth of God’s character which is good… but why does this even exists.. No offense but people who not only have it good and normal and not expanding their awareness of the matter about God and the world are a bit naive and carefree… On the other hand, what about those who just are dealt with a bad hand and bad things keeps happening to them even tho they listen to God and mind their business and be kind and not even for work-based salvation? What about those people? Yes we all meet our end and bad accidents happen, but what about trust evil being forced in them for no reason. And yes it’s also principalities and higher power but, God still doesn’t do anything? What about those situations? Like why even go to that extreme to see us suffer? I just feel horrible and depressed being so aware of good and evil all the time. I’m thankful and grateful, but what about others? Like we really gotta enjoy what we have and see how long it lasts? It’s just so fucked up to think about it. I’m being honest. And those that say “well God”…. like nah fam, I’m talking about dark truths that if you were in their shoes, you’ll literally question God out of love and vulnerability and frustration… like why?
