A late general comment. I honestly have no idea of what he's talking about in this clip! However, in my long/short existence I've concluded two things for the spiritual minded to bear in mind: 1) you're not going to leave this Earthly realm without having knowingly committing some wrong, bad deed towards someone! 2) circumstances may arise where your life/survival, or someone else's, may require you to do or commit some action that you otherwise would not do or don't want to do. In the spiritual, religious teachings of ancient KEMET/Egypt it was understood that after your earthly separation, it is not your deeds (good or bad, positive or negative) that determine where your Spirit goes next, but the weight of your true heart/intentions/motives on a Scale against the "Feather of MAAT!" Symbol of the "Archetypal Goddess" of Justice and all that is TRUE! ✌️😐

Sadhguru is a spiritual con man but very intelligent so people, esp. Westerners, although they sense something is wrong, cannot see through him. MIxes a grain of truth with kilograms of his ego and nonsense. - Arjuna J.

One of his things he said is there is no such thing as work life balance only life so that means we should all be equally wealthy. There is such a huhe gap between the rich and the poor.... all these billionares have plenty to give back to the world.

This is probably the first time i disagree with sadguru. A good person does NOT want to feel superior, because only when you lack empathy will you want to feel superior, it’s a narcissistic trait. People don’t choose to be good or bad, they’re simply born with different levels of empathy.

Or someone is simply passive aggressive about it, playing victim card, but subtly feeling superior about their goodness, while judging others as bad. Not to say narcissists are even worse, but that necessarily doesn’t make other party correct too

He who fails to survive, try to console himself by thinking I failed because I was on right path, and others survived because they were on wrong path. He forgets to appreciate that in struggle for survival, there is nothing like good or bad, but only survival of the fittest.

I never heard such a simplistic cynical way of reducing the act of giving help to others. A sincere good act is a good act, no matter to what and to whom you compare it with. This man mixes pride with sincere love and empathy as they were the same thing, and that's scary. And he is able to mix in it a misogynistic story...that's pretty hard to achieve! Btw when you think about Sadhguru, remember always this: When Will Smith walked up that stage and slapped Chris Rock across the face, he was a Sadhguru's disciple... Will Smith never ever did such a outrageous and violent thing before. Is it a coincidence that he did it while being disciple of Sadhguru?? I leave the answer to you guys.

The reason why people suffer more in life is because they don't know when is enough and society keeps looking up and chasing after wealth and even when they have enough they still do not give up chasing. That is the FACT....Attachment is made abundant in people's minds because they have to keep on working to keep up not just with money but also with relationships "not just wife but people around them". We keep trying to make people happy and want attention from the public because we feel insecure about ourselves

people are misunderstanding his meaning. what he said lines up with bhagvad gita. krishna says that one should not attach themselves to the results of their deeds, whether good or bad, and that they should do their prescribed duty with only the thought of god in mind and nothing else. because if you attach yourself to the result, whether it's a good deed or bad, you will become the cause of that result. and thus, u will be bound with this material world even more. and the whole purpose of our atman is to not bound itself to this material world, so that it can be liberated and no longer participate in this cycle of life and death. so he's not saying don't do good deeds, he's saying stop thinking ur doing good deeds and never ever attach yourself to the result, like "oh i did something good today or i bet this will make that right" or vice versa, because when u do that, u have already become the cause of the result. and by becoming the cause of the result, you are going to be stuck in this cycle of birth and death. so do whatever deeds ur given to do, whether by some authority or by chance, but never attach urself to the fruits of those deeds or desire the fruits of those deeds.

I thought this would be about how good people suffer more because we have more empathy than bad people, when we do something wrong in life we have regret and remorse bad people don't. Good people feel others pain, we cannot deliberately hurt someone we always try to be better tomorrow. We worry about our childrens happiness. These are all traits bad people lack therefore they don't suffer. That's my opinion

In a scenario where two worlds share the same ecological conditions, one inhabited by individuals who tend to evaluate situations objectively rather than subjectively, possess a strong moral compass, think less selfishly and prioritize the greater good of society, act in the best interests of the majority, are forgiving, less vengeful, practice perspective-taking, and engage in self-reflection, while the other world embodies the opposite traits, several factors come into play when considering which civilization might thrive or decline. The world characterized by individuals with strong moral values, empathy, and a collective mindset may have certain advantages. They are more likely to collaborate, make ethical decisions, and work towards a common good. Their societies could be more stable and less prone to internal conflicts. Additionally, a greater emphasis on forgiveness and reconciliation can lead to fewer long-standing grudges and disputes. On the other hand, the world with individuals who are more self-centered, morally ambiguous, and driven by personal gain might encounter numerous challenges. Egoism, a lack of empathy, and a "survival of the fittest" mentality could lead to higher levels of conflict, inequality, and social instability. A society where revenge is common might perpetuate cycles of violence and division. When choosing the world, you can also choose between 2 mindsets, one that corresponds to the respective world, or the mindset of the other world. So you have 4 worlds to choose from. - Which one would you choose, and why ? - Which civilization of these worlds would last longer before collapsing ? - Which System would be more stable ? - Which of these 4 worlds corresponds most closely to our actual world ? Dear Sadhguru, I would be happy if you would answer these questions for me... of course the rest of you all too ;) P.S: A little mind game on the side, these worlds are connected to Twitter and can exchange their experiences, but are physically separated from each other. (but in the same solar system).. what impact would Twitter now have on these respective worlds? and would space traffic increase or decrease ? I would be particularly interested in the election of those involved in government in all countries.

Actually you could take out the psychopathy scale. People high on the psychopathy scale get the prettiest mates, best jobs. They get to torment people on the low side of the psychopathy scale, the empaths. Who the ladies pass, good jobs pass. The narc ladies love them though. Then theres all the sensitivities and pains that come from being so vulnerable. You have to exclude yourself from so much. So if the empath is the good person, yes, they can suffer so much. Theres so many people basically obligated to mess with them. Im sure theres positive sides to it too. People generally are good. If they are alone within themselves. Many are not.

Being good is not about comparison, being good is about emulating traits of those who you believe make a positive impact on society and others around them. I believe everyone shoild strive to be a "good" person whatever that means to you, and you will feel happier by doing what you believe is right even when others do what you believe is wrong. Mental illness is an entirely different topic, but right now i am just speaking generally... I know being good is subjective, but 99% of people (those without mental issue) know what good is over bad. Just dont go around intentionally hurting others, and help others when it is possible and doesn't negatively impact you too much.

Jesus told us that we are all bad, therefore l am not good, for according to Jesus, all people on the earth,,, there is not one good person among them, for all have fell short of the glory of God,.. what good is it if we live a perfect life of goodness and not be allowed into heaven for being good, can we just do bad things and ask for forgiveness then enter into heaven,,, NO, because we are judged and our witness is Our Blood, Spirit, and Water that is in us….the three are in agreement accordingly to bible verse.

What is the message here, your goodness wont liberate you, then tell me what will? The entire video does not clarify that.

According to Sadhguru, Adi Shankaras "Nischalatatve Jeevanmukthi" means if your intention is unwavering, your liberation cannot be denied. In another video he has also stated that if your humanity overflows, the Divine will come looking for you.

Another thing is, this is not Sadhguru official channel run by Isha Foundation. Anyone can take his videos and make a hodgepodge of whatever they feel like.

Sadhguru is a spiritual con man but very intelligent so people, esp. Westerners, although they sense something is wrong, cannot see through him. MIxes a grain of truth with kilograms of his ego and nonsense.

What? Being 'good' is taking responsibility for one's actions and understanding that they might have far reaching consequences! Not boasting... I agree with SadGuru on many things, but he's wrong here.

Good people do all the hard work while bad people just standing there and ready to steal. A good king rises up, bad people suffer. A bad king rises up good people suffer. A good king who doesn’t break his own laws. A bad king break his own laws and accept bribery.

Sorry Sir. Your point doesn't hold good at all. Basically, there are 2 types of people - one that harms others and one that does not harm others. It's the conflict between these groups that is the topic of the conversation and the truth is, this is human nature and cannot be resolved.

It's a nice story. But just a story. If you pass by a wounded dog, do you help it or not? That is the true test. Not because you want to go to Heaven but because you simply want to help someone or another animal who is suffering. A person don't have to be religious to help or give. If a religious person "helped" anyone, it is suspicious because he/she must be doing it to go to Heaven. But Heaven is just a spaceship. Watch Near Death Experiences interviews with people who died and came back.
