Rightttttt like why tf does it matter who can speak English? I recently saw a interracial KZread couple. One spoke English and the other only spoke Vietnamese. I thought the Vietnamese one would learn English but the one who spoke English was actually the one who learnt Vietnamese to speak to their S.O because they said it would be easier for them to learn Vietnamese rather than the other learning English. Because of her behavior and energy vibe, I actually haven't been able to watch those two interviews BTS had with her, but I have seen the moment you are talking about. I am not shocked easily yet her asking such an inappropriate, cringy thing really took me by surprise. First, what BTS members do in their private, intimate life is ONLY their business! Second, professionally behaving journalists and talk show hosts never ask such questions since they are both extremely disrespectful and completely unrelated to an artist's career. And third, even if any "hook ups" have ever happened did Ellen really expected the members to talk about them? Talk about delusional! In two words, the whole thing made me feel "dirty", and I can't even imagine how BTS have felt.

I think BTS did the right, they just shouldn't have unfollow her but also block her.. I think she is always disrespectful towards the members. 1. If you see the interviews carefully you can actually find out that she bullied members for can't speaking english. When it was a interview for 4 or 5 minutes she continuously talking about learning english. She is American and she can tell english fluently ( of course everybody can tell their mother language fluently) and BTS knows multiple languages can she say any Korean words? It's not that members can't speak english the fact it that they are weak on it.. Not everybody need to speak in English to show their talent. 2. It's not something very odd actually. I have the same type of thing, I usually can feel something like a vibe from people as soon as I meet them. I used to be a fan of Ellen but I did feel uncomfortable anyway and when Asians come to her show you can clearly tell that they felt pretty awkward. Psy is a great example because she would introduce the celebrity to the if they are not Asians but Psy had to introduce himself and that minute I had to stop watching it because it was just too uncomfortable. Asking about the nasty is just not a nice thing to do with an Asian especially because we aren't that open and even so I don't think it is right to ask anyone that if you aren't close enough. You might be a fan of Ellen (or maybe not) but either how you should learn to look in the other person's perspective and be able to differentiate between right and wrong.

They just see 7 asian men, who stole girls' heart, and they use this huge fandom to make themselves popular. They think they can mess with us. I think for at least mainstream western media, they're still kind of a novelty act. The first real Korean popstar to really make it was Psy and he made it with a joke song. Though I think people are starting to get that BTS is a the real deal.

I thought it was because she treated them so crappy on her show. The first time they appeared, she was okay. But the second time when she scared the crap out of them with that person in the footstool jumping out at them or, when they were being announced and she told ARMYs to stop clapping before she was done announcing them, I figured they were done with her crap and no longer wanted to appear on her show. I know I would be.

Have you even watched Ellen's show? She scares everyone. RM was fine but if you think he was so scared, look at his reaction to the Game Caterers' host surprising them. Do you hate them too? Do you know why RM is so on edge? Because of fans like you who want to make all his decisions for him.

I even personally chatted online to one of Ellen's ex-Producer's who was *fired* after she won her *second* Emmy for the Ellen show. Calling Ellen a "Toxic, Phoney, Hypocrite, Liar." So the *TRUTH* came out on Ellen. In any case...as for "scaring RM" .. he *did* look *VERY* concerned for his group. And *even* asked his members if they "were alright." What *she* thinks is "funny" .. in *reality* it is not. The guys just brushed it off and nervously laughed. In reality... these guys get stalked by *OBSESSIVE* fans.. even grabbling them..... so for her to do that was *NOT COOL* on her show.

@@crystals386 Yes, actually I have watched her show. Her enjoyment of scaring people is beyond childish. I can't stand it. When her show Game of Games came out, I watched it as well. The sadistic delight she got out of tormenting her guests was beyond disgusting. When the revelation of her staff abuse came out, it didn't surprise me. As far as the BTS shows, I'm not a fan per se but I do like their music. They don't scream obscenities like our American performers are known for doing. So just chill and not get triggered so easily. It's not worth it. Life's too short to be like that.

She couldn’t even be arsed to learn their names, much less do enough research to realize that asking questions about dating (especially dating ARMY) are pointless. They always say they are not dating, they can’t admit it even if they were. Minimal research on her guests would have told her that. She didn’t even have a research employee to at least help her ask better questions? She could have used that time to ask something worth asking. Saying that because they changed their hair she now needs a reintroduction (even though they were all in the same seating positions as the previous time), is she saying she thinks they all look alike in the face? Yeah that’s not a problematic thing to say. 🙄 I sometimes found Ellen funny over the years, but I didn’t like either of her BTS interviews. Of course people are saying she’s a shrew to work for, I can’t say I’m surprised if true.

She doesn't care about BTS.....If she really likes BTS then she should've taken some "precious" time from her day to learn their names(it's not even that hard lol I learned their stage names just in few minutes....) and a bit more about their music in general. I'm an Indian and I know how she treated Priyanka.....Ellen is just rude she only cares about fame and money.

@@user-0917fckvjjigk Being an American I admit the first day I got into BTS, I had some trouble but you can’t focus on their hair because it changes so much. You have to remember their facial features and then it’s easy to differentiate them (and certainly not hard to learn their names). Some people say Asians look alike but they really don’t. I think that’s really an ignorant thing to say or insinuate like she did. It’s just anyone who says that are not really looking at them or paying attention. I don’t know if that’s something you’ve ever encountered in life but sometimes people like Ellen don’t think before they open their mouth. I would feel like such a tool interviewing people I had done 0 research on beforehand. I just thought it was poor preparation in both interviews. I think you’re right, she just didn’t care. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Oh and btw I didn’t see how she treated Priyanka, just as cringy or worse?

I really wonder why did she have to ask them that question , like what do you expect them to say ??? " Yes , I have hooked up with ARMY before " ??? And I remember that one kpop boy group (I can't remember the group) asked "why do you care about this (the question) tho ?" and she says it is her job to ask that . UMM NO , YOU'RE NOT . You could've just asked about the comeback rather than someone's private life.

@@_syh_8402 if Ellen had done even a modicum of research she would know that even if that was happening, they aren’t going to admit it lol. I know that the idol culture is kind of foreign to us in the West, with their restrictions on public dating and so on, but the first thing I would do is some research on them and their culture, or pay someone else to fill me in lol. She’s got the cash for a research team lol. It just showed a real lack of care for the biggest band since the Beatles. Not to mention maybe not looking like a racist would not go amiss, but that’s just me. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@@crystals386 I'm an ARMY but I do know that the boys aren't perfect. They're human after all. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses and everyone knows that. It's not something to get angry about. Or even argue on. And about the situation. Not only BTS, but a couple of other artists too have been sort of disrespected on her show. I kind of think that she tries to turn anything and everything into a joke but ends up being accidentally mean to the guests. So, I don't know if she was intentionally rude, because I don't have any proof on that, but I do think that she went overboard with her jokes a couple of times and ended up being rude. Being intentionally rude and accidentally ending up rude are two different things as far as I'm concerned. So, yeah, there has been a couple of times I felt insensitive vibes coming off her, but that might be unintentional. Or intentional. I'll never know. From that situation with Bong Joon Ho (she clearly meant it as a joke but that is considered a taboo in the Korean culture) to the backlash her show received recently, she has been in a lot of controversy lately. So, I think it is for the good that she ended her show. Let's just not hate on her or anyone who came on her show, because we don't know the exact facts. BTS are amazing people and so are the other guests who came on her show, as far as I know. But no one is perfect 'cos they are all humans. So, let's just leave this situation here and move on with our lives. i hope you understood my view the right way.

BTS rap is different than Western rap. an example is their verses in Magic Shop and Boy in Luv. if you listen BTS without prejudice eventually you will become an ARMY. that's why ARMY number increases. especially if you watch BTS from Nobodies to Legends. their 1st album sold 5,000 copies and they had to go out themselves to give free tickets for their live show. their 1st live performance happened from pure luck. their company was very small and they had no influence in media, etc so they couldn't make a show invite BTS, but some show wanted a group for filler before the main event and called BTS.

This is international proof even again what we in US knew along time ago, she's rude, nasty, impatient, racist, discriminates, is NOT kind!!!! I only watched when someone I liked was on. The Parasite racist debacle on every level, and her horrible interview & awful fans with BTS REALLY upset me!!!! I saw BTS on Ellen show for the first time. Ellen show was the reason I became an ARMY. & I Only searched the biggest boy band in the world On Google and look I m in this Bangtan Shit for life..

Dynamite smashed world records, and then there was Ariana's genric song which only did ok. I'm not saying Ariana was less deserving but Dynamite literally broke more than FIVE records, they were used for viewer gainship and weren't given an award most likely due to xenophobic people who wanted to keep the Grammy's "American". Some award shows are more biased than you think. Another thing, please look into things before you say shit. BTS has won so many non-vote based awards. From daesangs, to bbma's. And so do the other millions of fans of bts who vote for them :) It's people's choice over some award show's :)))))

I never watched Ellen but the first time I did was when BTS was on it and I was so offended and embarrassed when she ask the hook-up question. You could tell the looks on faces when they figured out what she meant she just had no respect or class. After that I was so glad I never watched her show.
