Being a leader isn't easy especially where BTS stands today. As idols he knows every action, words can have a huge impact both positive and negative. As a leader being a little strict is very important and the maknae line still in their late 20s. And RM knows wen to have fun and let them be themselves and knows where to control. He does a grt job. He has the toughest job being a producer, leader, translator. Good job Namjoon...... Proud of you

I admire "strict" Namjoon so much, I cant imagine what a hard job he has which comes with all the success they have gained.

He's quick and he's wise, and he just knows what to do. He carries the burden of keeping the group in line, and the decisions he makes are made to protect them. He's a great leader.

I swear Namjoon and Yoongi handled that situation of the interview and the press conference with that reporter REALLY WELL and FAST. Literally not even 3 seconds after the interview asked “what kpop band would blow up next”, Namjoon told Hobi to be careful and Yoongi answered with BTS- And the press conference question- They were so professional and thoughtful. I literally would have blown up on that guy. I would never be as mature as Namjoon and Yoongi lol

I just love the way he handles several situations, especially the sensitive ones. I wonder if he really knows how great he is. RM doesn't get enough credit where credit is due!!! I think he did and does an AMAZING JOB, with translating for the group, keeping a level head when reporters ask sensitive and or dumb questions. Also, he does a great job trying to keep some under control when they should be professional; but knows too when they need to let loose. That is a BIG responsibility at a young age and to carry this pointed position for 10 + years. I give him a HUGE SHOUT OUT! May his career continue to prosper, and he find true happiness and love.

His position makes them feel awkward with him, and since he is an AWKWARD person -- the second most awkward member after JK -- he doesn't know how to make them feel at ease. Other Kpop leaders are more sociable and extroverted so they don't have this problem. The members make fun of their leaders and joke around with them (like in Exo, NCT, WayV, and even TXT). However, with RM being an awkward introverted person, it is harder not to be awkward with him when there is a hierarchy in their positions.

I love how Yoongi also sometimes helps RM during certain situations ❤

Being a single parent to a 6 naughty children was so freaking hard, I envy the legendary leader RM so much

This video is part of the reason why Namjoon's part of my bias line, he's sometimes strict, but he does it all with a good heart and tries to be a supportive leader. I like that he's not the leader just in name but he acts accordingly when the situation calls it, but is always in a professional manner, he doesn't insults, threatens or screams at anyone. He's serious, but never an ass about it.

he's the most mature leader tbh....as being the leader and all he got the most presure...and he knows what will come next...and thinks one step ahead....how he handles them and himself....how he talks....i inspire him a lot tbh...

Ik- that's so true. If bts said twice or blackpink, the interviewer would probably ask if they were close or friends. They don't even think about if their question is really personal or not. :(((

this is why i dislike the majority of american interviewers so much. they interview musicians but ask for drama and tea.

Namjoon is literally the "dad" of the group xD and he does the part pretty flawlessly

As I learn more about BTS, I’m finding that the one I find the most mysterious is RM, because I think he’s such a good leader, he’s often in the back letting the other members shine the way only they can. Even Suga’s personality get’s highlighted and plays a part in the makeup of BTS. I can’t wait to learn more about RM.

RM taking advantage of the fact that he knew that the reporter and most of the audience watching the interview at 2:42 could not understand Korean was lowkey incredibly brilliant. He knew that even if his words got picked up by the microphone (as they were), the majority of western audiences wouldn't pick up on the fact that it was a warning. Especially since he says it with such a neutral expression, and does an eyebrow raise and a little smile afterwards. I think this is one of my favorite interview clips, both for RM's handling of the question and for the other members' quick thinking to turn it into a joke. They protected themselves and didn't make it awkward for the interviewer at the same time. 10/10 class act.

I have so much respect for Namjoon's leadership skills and the way he stays so grounded. It appears the other members highly respect him and appreciate him. I think they all feel they can rely on each other no matter what, and I think their behavior in the public light is to be highly admired. 💜💜
