You're 100% correct. I live in Canada - On the Canadian site, the purchase price is shown, with potential savings listed next to it. I changed my location to USA to get the USD prices, and the site automatically INCLUDED the savings into the USD price - and I didn't notice. Since I did the same for the X and the Y, and the relative price calculation remains accurate, I think the point stands - there is a large differential and the video seeks to explain the difference. Thank you sir (for your correction, and for bringing your channel to my attention!)

I actually own a 2020 Model X and love it to pieces. I also love the Falcon Wing doors....they are fabulous.

2018 model x . First 6 months , had some issues with fwds (in the winter , the doors would not open high enough ) Multiple updates later , my model x fwds work amazing . And I have no worries opening them in tight spaces . Model x are supper comfy too :)

Pretty sure the falcon wing doors were not added to the model y due to expense, rather than being disliked. They are definitely an upgrade if they don't malfunction. Just hope they fix the rain spilling in issue. That would be pretty annoying for me if I were to buy one.

i have sciatica which makes it difficult for me to sit for long period of time and it's even tougher sitting in the car and driving at the same time. But with the Model X, it's crazy how i can barely feel any pain while driving it. The car is so spacious and comfy to drive

The Tesla model x is the only option for a spacious yet compact electric suv

Since making the video I've been shopping for a used X as as second car - its only incrementally bigger but the extra space helps!

sliding doors would screw it all up! We want falcon doors! The Falcon doors are the whol reason I want one with the 6 seats!

Appropriate Hip height is important if you are over 60. Makes entering and leaving the vehicle easier. I’m 74 and still 6’3”. Getting in higher “SUV” seats is easier. Yukon’s are about 3 inches too high for me.

That's certainly true. With adjustable height air ride getting more popular, reliable, and cheaper, that should help entry/exit height.

"Looks and feels and drives like a mi [Censored!] an..." I'm not sure I agree with that! :D

Nice video and a great review.....I think the price will be coming down. Just an opinion.

It may be the case. This article - electrek.co/2020/07/21/tesla-secret-project-palladium-new-model-s-model-x/ - Suggests an update is coming; a price drop on the S and X may be appropriate if they want to use up the 16850 cells and parts.

What's a 16850? 18650 called and wants its aspect ratio back.

Great to hear about Model X. That doesn't happen that much. I wouldn't be surprised if it got a refresh after all next year, together with Model S.

They've announced the Plaid Model S, and it would use the new batteries that have a different dimension than the 16850s in the S and X - And the battery is supposed to be a part of the car's structure. But with that said, there is nothing to suggest a redesign of the car, visually - which is surprising (and disappointing). If you re-engineer the car for the new battery size, it would be silly (i guess) to not start putting in the new battery (albeit total kWh) into the more affordable models also. By extension, the same should be done for the X - but given how many other projects are higher priority (Cybertruck, Semi, Roadster, Sub $25k car), i tend to think it will be 2022 for a model X refresh at the earliest.

I’d like to see a model X with traditional or sliding doors. The Falcon Wing doors have too many things that can go wrong or malfunction. Makes me nervous.

That's just my lame sense of humour! I've always noticed people get so unusually disgusted when told to "buy a minivan" - I thought i'd treat it like a swear word.

imhco true and unfortunately SUVs will never offer the space as a minivan can and a Tesla model X is considered a minivan by tesla lovers and they don’t even like it. That’s why the came up with the mode Y and Tesla refuse’s to update the model X

Please share the announcement and I'll pin it. I have heard production of current design had a shutdown over the holidays, which has lead to speculation that a refresh is closer than many of us believed. But at the time of your comment, tesla.com is selling essentially the same car as in my video.

This is the worst review, please do us a favor and stop. General consensus is that they prefer these falcon doors, look at the polls and satisfaction published articles.
