As sexist and misogynistic as it sounds the reality is most women are in that catagory and desire a man who is superior to them in every other way. I mean if they are nice they might be polite and courteous but they will definitely not respect them. They would not want to further pursue the relationship or would not even bother to DM back if they message them. Truth is most men are invisible to most women and are seen as irrelevant or a waste of time. my father and grandfather always taught me about discipline as a man not only with my work ethic and my life and my goals but also my mental discipline. my emotional discipline. the most beautiful woman could walk up to me and want me but why would i want more when i already have what i NEED. i have what i've always strived to have in a relationship why would i waste that away with just a few hours of pleasure and break my woman's heart. emotional discipline is knowing how to control your emotions instead of finding a reason to blame your own shortcomings and wrongdoing on something else. it's owning up to yourself that you obviously don't have enough self respect to control your emotions as a man it is your duty to provide for your partner. don't show your woman that you can't control your emotions and cheat on her...

I'm not to be reduced to being some side ho just because some man has money and can provide a life of "luxury." If I have to wait for "my man" to have time for me because he's got 3 other side pieces, that's not luxury. It's quite the opposite, actually. I'm not a person that WANTS to deal with multiple men, regardless of how much I can get out of them, and that's what it boils down to in a situation like this. There can't be emotion involved, because then you constantly run the risk of being hurt, feeling like you're not enough, nor having the confidence that they'll stick around. You're turning yourself into a gold digger at that point. After all, he's constantly on the prowl, and he'll use his bank account to bag all kinds of shallow, no-account women. His money is only there as long as he is, and so why would you bank on it being there when he's allowed to be everywhere else? I'm not miserable at all. I have a very loving husband of 20 years. We've raised 5 boys together, who know who their parents are, what they stand for, and have been given a solid foundation to build on. In the last 6 years, I've become a stay at home wife, in a house we bought in the country with acreage and a pond, who takes care of everything house-related, and my husband wants for NOTHING when he gets home. Dinner is from scratch, and hot when he gets home. His laundry is done, his house is clean, and all errands are run. I spend his money on anything we need, and some things I want, and I'm respectful about it. For that, he goes and busts his ass for me, brings me flowers all the time, plans trips and vacations for us as surprises, goes hunting on our land for me, takes care of all of my needs and wants, and I can honestly say I want for nothing either. Before that, we lived in a major metropolitan city, we both worked, we both shared the responsibility of the house, raising the boys, and everything else. It was sheer chaos, but we knew we had each other. Still, we're happier this way. A girlfriend of mine lives exactly the life you suggest, and she's CONSTANTLY miserable. I hear all the time about how she doesn't feel like she's good enough, and feels trapped because she doesn't think another man wants her. She's also had to deal with catching the clap AND syphilis. Both, she caught from her man. She's been de-valued, she has zero self-worth, and she's not happy at all. My heart breaks for her almost every time she calls me, because the story is always the same, and time is running out for her. She's recently resulted to becoming a hooker, because she still has bills she has to pay, and if he doesn't care, then why not? It's a life spiraling out of control, that I've watched for almost 10 years now, and it's not getting any better. A lot of his money now goes to TWO DIFFERENT BABY MOMMAS that he's acquired since getting with her. So no... this isn't the way to go at all. I love my life, and have zero regrets about the last 20 years. I have a ride or die man who would stop at nothing to make me happy, and I can reciprocate that. I have value, I have self-worth, and I know for a fact that this man is gonna be here when I need him. He knows the same. My happiness doesn't come from a new coach purse. It comes from watching my husband drag a field-dressed deer out of the woods at our house, and knowing I'm about to help process it, only because I WANT to.

Because in the real world nobody ever know a person's true face until certain challenges happen. Like you won't know until you are in that situation so don't be so quick to judge and predict the future just because your current life is good at the moment. I can brag about my life like you too. I am blessed as well. I have a good life. Great upbringing. Wonderful partner. Nice cars, nice house- all paid off. But a good life is not set in stone. I've also seen enough and know enough that life can change anytime too. Even in a loving relationship you can't rely that it will last forever. Too many put themselves in that kind of high expectation and that's how many got hurt when it changes. It doesn't matter if some of us have moral values. I've seen enough of the dark side of human nature. I've seen men and women alike- those that's been betrayed by the ones they are closest to- best friend, family member, lover. Abandoned when they suddenly become sick. Lost their job, their money. Misfortune hit them. My whole point is whatever your decision is- doesn't matter if you walk away or will take advantage of certain opportunities or even use others back. You need to think of what works best in your own interest especially when not everyone plays by the same rules. There are times when one has to harden their heart. Your friend though, she should get an education and work on improving herself. It was women like her that I saw growing up and was around that made me pursue schooling first.
