A lot of people don't know that these days, so it's not their faults, just asking certain questions is looked at as frowned upon. But if you genuinely don't know something because you never learned then I get it. But how else was she going to get the question, right?

But here in the US a lot of kids don't know "basic" information (I say "basic" because it isn't basic anymore), which is why we get dumb questions like these, and now more than ever parents don't want their children learning certain things because it'll "harm" them unknown ways.
