Whoop Racing is BACK!
A new season of indoor whoop racing has begun at Sumerian Brewing with FPV Racing Seattle! I'm excited! It's been WAY too long! If you want to show your support, then don't forget to like and sub!

Awesome! No, I can't make it this year, but have fun!
Which whoops are people flying nowadays? I saw a couple brushed tiny whoops, cool!

Yeah, we did have a couple brushed whoops. That's unusual actually. Most people fly 0802 brushless for the 65mm class.
maaan, your videos always get me nostalgic of when I used to spend my summer breaks from school up at my dads place! he has lived all over but I have most of those memories from Marysville, and of course we were always in and around Seattle for one reason or another... usually skating somewhere downtown like Seattle Center or whatever hahaha...the funny thing is you really actually look like my cousin who grew up over in Magnolia. Anyways, back to the subject at hand...have you heard of Full-Send FPV? They are out of Denver where I currently live and their courses look pretty wicked! love your videos man, good to see a new one up! cheers!

Yeah, I know of Full-Send FPV. I think I met some of their folk at Whooptopia 2020. Cheers!
Getting to be that time… I need to get some gates for the basement. Any source for those cube “tiny whoop” branded gates?

The Tiny Whoop cube gates are great! I got mine from tinywhoop.com. Not sure when they will be back in stock though.
Great videos! I haven't done any racing, how are the drones tracked as far as being able to validate a winner? I would like to set something like that up here locally.

The drones are tracked by the RF signals from their video transmitters. We have a timing system that sits at the start/finish gate. The signal intensity peaks as drones pass through the gate. It records the information to a laptop and announces the times over a speaker. ImmersionRC makes a commercial product for this purpose, but it has been out of stock for quite a while. Some people build their own with RF receiver components, Arduinos, and various bits of open source software. If you don't have any equipment, you can just count laps and have a judge determine who reached the finish line first.

I'm located in Tacoma WA and how do I find out about these such events????
Super cool! Can I ask what setup are you flying here?

This video shows the whoop setup: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iJyn2LuRlZDOitI.html More recently I have been trying out Quicksilver firmware, but the hardware setup is about the same.

@@MrShutterBug Thank you very much!
Can I ask what antennas you use on your rapid fire module?

On this occasion, I was using a TBS patch and a TrueRC OCP long stem antenna.
