*Quick correction* I completely forgot that the team didn't re-sign Arie Koundijio and then mentioned him. After all these years it was just habit thinking he was still on the roster because he's always hurt and never around.

Cut bait with Flowers now...

I would rather take a chance with Martin or Pierchbacher than go with Flowers. Likewise, I don’t see Flowers making the roster.

Perfect world one of those guys or Roullier...I have very little faith in Flowers but I hope to be proven wrong.

The QB situation will resolve itself for sure, but they can't roll Haskins out without complete confidence in the OL first. Unless one of those guys takes a command of LG -- Martin, Pierchbacher, Flowers -- they better look to Keenum. Don't need Haskins getting banged up over inexperience and non-existent blocking skills.

If Flowers does end up making the team and plays with heart then we can give him a chance at guard but no way can we let him start at left tackle. We need to have Donald Penn on speed dial or Anthony Davis from the 49ers

Only in DC can you go 3yrs unable/unwilling to upgrade from Lavaou to almost an embarrassment of riches. No way they even think about starting Flowers at LG. I'd prefer Martin start there. But, if Piersbacher can beat Rouille out then let the competition begin. Maybe it was because ther floor was sooo low but I liked Rouille at LG. He showed good lateral movement pulling and was solid in his play. Take that w/ a grain of salt because it just was something we haven't seen out of that position in a few seasons. All the other dudes are just bodies. Ari, Catalina, and whomever else. They've all been around for a while and couldn't take the job. Specifically speaking of Ari. Still hasn't turned ther corner nor can he stay healthy. Just like the QB situation, if it's close or relatively equal I think you go w/ the rookie. Can't build/ improve/advance the team counting on backups and journeymen. We had a great draft. Time to start building off that.

That's all I know is Ereck Flowers shouldn't be a starter on your team period. The dude is a bum

I'm no fan of him being on the roster, but if he gets cut he'll cost us about a million, so not really a big deal. One thing to remember, Flowers was projected as a guard but you guys and Jax used him at tackle, obviously he failed at that spot... There is a chance he can successfully make the shift inside and have it make up for some of his issues...it will also help to have him coached up by the best o-line coach in the business in Bill Callahan. If anyone can do it it's Callahan. We'll see what happens, but my money is on the rookie winning the spot.

@@HTTR my money on the rookie as well. Its does seem like Eric wants to put the effort in to get better. I do agree Callahan is the best in the business. Look what he has done with trent.
