I love how genuinely exasperated he is. He doesn’t seem to be mad in the slightest he’s just experiencing total confusion over the motivations of someone high on meth. It’s almost as if he feels insulted by how shoddy of a job it was, “If you’re gonna rob me then at least do it right.”

That was a very well-spoken man. And he did blame it on the meth epidemic, not so much his poor cousin. Too bad about the weapon, though. Now the guy will never get the help he needs. I hope the calm-voiced reporter gets a raise from his employer. Keeping his composure while reading the script had to be incredibly difficult, :D

He committed a crime with a deadly weapon, he could've killed someone. At least in jail he can't get meth, at least you'd think they can't. Maybe going cold Turkey would help.

@@3182john unfortunately that's not how addiction works, and quitting cold turkey isn't right for everyone - in fact, if it doesn't work for you, it can actually make your habit much worse. It's a condition that needs to be handled medically in terms of both psychological and physical addiction.
