@@ryanbrook8384 Depends on what you feel you need. Do you need offense, defense, debuffing, sure hit, starting charge? Only thing I would suggest is stay far away from any CE that has an effect only for 3 turns, like the Art of Poisonous Snake CE which is arts up by a large amount but only for 3 turns. Not worth it. Every CE that lasts for 3 turns has a better CE with the same effect but for the entire battle.

Salter is huge factor because of her buff and story locked availability.

I get that Sadistic Charisma is considered lancer Liz's main draw and for good reason, but still, this is the second video I've seen recently that doesn't mention the latest update to her kit: her S2 defense debuff is not only AoE now, it also removes a buff and applies 1-turn skill seal to all enemies. It's a nice addition to her kit that further adds to your party's damage potential, and makes her that much more useful in more challenging content if you know when to pop it.

Great video. Lots of incredible information. I went into this dead set on getting EMIYA since my whole goal playing this was to get both him and Morgan since they're my two favorite servants. I got Morgan on this last banner, so that would be job done. But... EMIYA is gonna be available on the Stay Night anniversary ticket whenever we get that. So I'm thinking someone like Astraea might be a better pick for me, since I'll hopefully get Castoria here soon as well. New player, just started in January this year so I'm just trying to do things optimally while also using my favorites.

If your heart is set on Emiya you can't go wrong, but certainly Astraea is a magnificent boss killer and easy to support. You're doing the smart thing though by looking ahead at potential banners you'd like to roll.

Khadroth: Gawain is overshadowed by his 5 star fellow knights. Me, who has NP 3 Gawain from LB 6 banners as my main AoE Saber and no 5 star Sabers: Yea, I wish I had one of those.

I got really lucky last year and got a copy of Muramasa and I got spooked by Dioscuri a few months ago. Muramasa is on rate-up alongside Oberon and (I think) Melusine in December. If you’re not still drained from the summer rolls, you could try your luck there. Good luck and may the gacha be in your favor.

One change i would like to see regarding ap/command spells is that if u need a free refill, u can use command spell to refill it. Most of the time i sit at full 3 spells and never use them till a challenge quest

But that would devalue the apple system, especially with the new blue apples coming with the download campaign. I personally would like to see more command spell effects and the ability to customize the three you bring to battle, although making balanced options might be a bit of a problem.

In the game, her name is spelled Altria, which according to Nasu, the CREATOR OF THE SERIES, is the correct spelling. On top of that, even if that wasn't the case, the spelling you are looking for is Artoria, not Arturia.

The next one (3000 Days Campaign) will be much harder to figure out since it includes many of the limited 4* servants (cutoff somewhere between this Summer and next Summer). If I don't get her before then, I'll probably go with Kriemhild. Otherwise, Summer Gareth, Summer Caenis, Dobrynya, Passionlip, and Faker are strong contenders for my pick.

I'm getting Faker. She evaded me on her release banner, and she's the most useful servant on this list that I don't have. I could get Edison for the Story Lock, but he's so niche that I may never use him. My 3rd choice would be Herc, but I only need one more bond level to unlock his Extra Attack append. Unfortunately, that bond level is 11, so it'll take a long time.

This friday seems really packed.

I went back and forth on my choice but I finally decided to pick Li Shuwen. It's not that I really like him (even if he was fun to play in Extella) but he's the only story lock without a known rate-up in the next two years...

Any recommendations? I have not run the gacha much as a newer player but I desperately need not Sabers and Berserkers: Jeanne d'Arc, Barghest, Lancelot, Chevalier d'Eon, Beowulf, Heracles, Helena Blavatsky are all my 4 and 5 stars. I think I might get Percival or Archer of Inferno since they synergize better with Jeanne, and I already have a mage and wanted to get either a lancer, archer, assassin or rider. Was not impressed with the riders or assassins so I think those are out, but unsure and wanted to ask for a second opinion. Please let me know if there are some other good choices for me.

I was leaning towards Saber Alter just cuz I loved her from Fate movies, but I have Senji, Santa Karna, Saito, and few others to disincentive. The classes I really need upgrades in are Assassin, Caster, and Lancer, but I realized I have Percival and Fionn(not built). Since Assassin's aren't really what you recommend it'll prolly be Salter or Lalter, although Nitocris is very tempting. I don't really play that often so my account is still kinda "new", I love the franchise but I don't enjoy this gameplay much. I always struggle to choose between vanity and meta, I'm practical above all else, but being story locked SUCKS so I don't wanna regret picking a unit I could potentially get eventually at random when RNGesus blesses me lol. I'm thinking i'll go for Lancer Artoria Alter, since she is one of the few on the list I don't have, and critically is also story-locked.

So far I have narrowed it down to Parvati and Percival. Parvati because I love my Sakura faces and Perci because I thought his kit looked interesting! We still have time to choose🤔!

Is Faker worth taking if I don't have Oberon, and I have several 4 stars of each class already? I just started playing a year ago but I pulled a crapload of 4 stars pulling for Koyan and Morgan recently. I probably dont have a ST and AOE of each class, but i'm not to worried about that. Any advice for a fairly new player? BTW, I pulled Hessian Lobo and Jalter in back to back single pulls last night, so I have Avenger covered now somewhat. Edit: My other main consideration is someone like Salter, because most of my Saber 4 stars arent the best (Rama, Siegfried, Lakshmi), and I have zero saber 5 stars, unless you count Okita Alter, but she kinda blows anyways.

Since I’ve been very fortunate with 4-Star spooks recently I am going to grab Nero, since I love her as a character and want to use her Grail Live costume. It was the first real event I could engage with when I started playing and it was so much fun, so I have an immense soft spot for all the characters who were in it!

Is there a way to know who got the most interlude and strengthen quest in these servant??? I got pretty much of them so now i just need to raise my interlude and strengthen gauge

Tomoe is pretty great, she's in dire need of a CE like Summer Anniversary at the very least, plus a charge-happy team and mystic code, and if you're just using her as a vaniller goriller damage donker she's fine. If you use her along with Emiya and Castoria (even better using Arash+75% CE first wave) you have a great team for traditional 3-3-1 nodes and it also works super well for 3-3-3 or 3-1-3. She also synergizes very well with Yang Guifei if the target classes are alright for them and any other burn baby. Yang specifically adores having Tomoe pop first though.

My Artoria is at BL 9, and I am out of Laterns. The choice is obvious. Saber of Shinjuku is a straight up improvement over her 5 star counterpart, once that buff hits.

Gettin that Np3 Barchest Also Yagyu is still a good saber and he can be super high dps.

i'm gonna pick Helena so that i can lvl120 her

The scary part? I have quite a few of these at NP6 or greater. I may just pick Edison just because I dont have him. May have wasted too many coins grail casting... 120 took me a LONG time....

I have an NP1 Zenobia and an NP3 Salter. Who should i pick up for the extra boost?

Personally gonna go with Lakshmibai. On the one hand she could spook at any time but on the other, since her NP isn't a support one getting spooked isn't a big problem since it'll give her more and more damage with each spook 'till the 5th (which if you're a f2p is very unlikely to even happen). Her Third skill increases the entire party's buff success rate not just her own so you can comfortably pair her with anyone with Imperial Privilege or other non guaranteed 60%+ proc chance buffs and watch them finally give maximum effects without issues. Her utility isn't just limited to that but honestly, just go look at her kit and decide for yourself whether or not she's worth it for you as I feel like she's one of those sleeper servants that never really click until someone brings it up.

I already know im gonna pick Salter but whats really kicking me is how Castoria will be appearing then too. New account so I really hope to get her so I can save for summer skadi.

In my case, I'm going to get a new unit. Nero, Rama, Caenis, Noyativich(Ms), the Valkyries, Nitocris, Edison and Avenger Medusa. Leaning to Nero or Edison but I'll prob decide when I get ticket. Wish their was a new skill counter so you could know how much quartz you can get by making better skills.

I am ultimately quite torn. On the one hand, I used the last ticket on Nero for Umu supremacy. Getting her to hit a little harder would be swell. On the other Salter is story locked too and I have the costume ticket just sitting there... Plus, I guess she gets really stupidly good after a while. But I also don't need any more sabers. Pretender is the only class I don't have coverage for and Sheba tempts me to complete the trio with Nitocris and Schaharazade.

Fun fact about Marie,her invincibility isn’t 3 times, 3 turns like what you see today, she has the protection from arrows treatment 3 times, no duration. While also tied to a 3 turn heal. Who thought that was a good idea

Can someone weigh in on my top 2 choices? Pretender - Haphestus Caster - Queen of Sheba Context - I have Oberon and I just recently summoned Castoria. Suffice to say neither would be the strongest of their class or my arsenal in general, but I would like to acquire both at some point. Pros: Haphestus- She's a 4* Pretender, and she does well with Arts and Buster. Queen of Sheba - She too does great with arts n buster and has excellent art. Cons: Haphestus- She's single target and I have Oberon and strong berserkers who can outdo her class advantages. She isn't story locked, so she can spook anytime. Queen of Sheba- I have pretty much EVERY strong caster for every situation, and I'm currently nearly out of all Caster materials for ascension and skill up. She's story locked, and I haven't summoned on the story banner in years. So if it isn't now it won't be unless one of these freebies comes again and I don't have better options.

I already have all those sabers so it will addtl NP for Salter. I'm glad.

Caenis or Yu, not for gameplay just to have them. But what should i take…i want both and both are story locked…

Definitely going Salter for the ticket. I have no shortage of strong sabers, so she's mostly a trophy until her JP buff Waifu matters aside, I love using Barghest. She's remarkably bulky, and her buster cards hit like a rogue freight train. Already have her NP4, hope I can get 5 and beyond when the Castoria banner comes for the campaign Also, finally getting Dragon Witch 1999 Jalter!

@@AJLaz000Ah yes, I burned Stheno for a rare prism to get the Mona Lisa CE. That was during Part 1. And for years until last month, she hasn’t appeared. Her quest was taunting me for years.

I got all except Meda Lily, Zenobia and Watanabe no Tsuna. I'm pretty much leaning towards Medea Lily since she is the story locked one to complete the collection if I remember right.

Would still love for them to give Lalter an animation update and something to get her kit to make her better

Little late to the game, but I think Lancelot berserker was woefully under sold. It is technically true that a unit like Fran can do a little more damage at the lowest levels of investment; however, Lancelot scales incredibly well with account investment. He starts off hitting around 50k first wave per enemy damage, but once you reach end game with a maxed out black grail, ruler Skadi and Oberon, then you can achieve 150k first wave per enemy damage. This places Lancelot not only as one of the best 4* NP loopers, but competitive with some of the best 5* NP loopers in the game. Fran is not going to scale up like that because you will always have to deal with her stun demerit. Lancelot berserker, along with Dantes, were the original defining NP looping meta characters. Sure Arts and Buster have come along with their NP looping metas, but Lancelot has seen his ceiling raised significantly with the introduction of Ruler Skadi and Oberon. And because of this, he remains arguably one of the two strongest 4* NP loopers in the game alongside Saber Alter. The first difference between these two characters is that Lancelot is getting his last piece of his team this Summer with Skadi Ruler. Saber Alter has to wait quite a bit longer for her buff. The second difference is that Lancelot shines on nodes with 3 or more enemies in waves 1/2 while Saber Alter shines on nodes with 2 or more enemies in waves 1/2. Finally, Lancelot has all of the stars, crit weight, crit damage, and 3 busters cards to crit with. Saber Alter has at least competitive crit potential in her best team but also adds ignore invincibility for 3 turns (again, in the future after her buff). At the end of the day, Lancelot berserker is not the best pick for all accounts (whether in the next ticket or to prioritize on a banner), but he is certainly a valuable unit on day one and an incredible option to consider for end game investment.

2 year gap BUT slight calculation is that we get things early for like a month cuz our anniversary is a month early so the NA server tries to fit the events before anniversary during that time frame. NA server though gets some exclusive content not in JP (like the Thanksgiving banner)

While Salter is going to have an amazing buff and an NP2 Munenori is tempting, I'm gona go with Hephaestion (because I don't have a pretender and Lady Avalon, who comes out in summer, has a supportive NP and a certain Liz pretender welfare come out in Halloween and is AoE Buster)

I think I'm gonna get EMIYA (Assassin) solely for the fact I want the entire Emiya family in my Chaldea.

59:30 Kind crazy cuz I have both her and Palvati as my starters and I pretty much breeze through the early chaps with just two of them and it's my first time playing FGO :)))

Saying Edison's kit is odd is discounting how he actually works in practice, and I'd argue he's literally one of the absolute best picks for any f2p player. In practice Edison has always been one of the best Defensive Arts DPSes due to the combination of his incredible debuffs from his NP, and also because the OC effect from his third skill becomes very braindead to use when paired with Mash or other broken defensive Arts supports. If you wanted to pick something that would help you clear story/CQs at NP1, Edison is probably one of the best picks for that because of how many bosses are just literally unable to hurt him (I used him to beat max Tokugawa Kama boss as an example; he's THAT good). Like the thing you have to realize more generally is the game especially at lower budgets is *heavily* slanted in favor of Arts stall. Something that Edison is incredible at enabling without dipping too deep into 5 star territory, since reliable stallers generally don't need NP levels to clear content.

It's a pretty good choice for making the mana loading append much easier to get at minimum.

I am most likely grabbing Salter, because that will get me to NP4 Salter, And then to hope I can somehow get that last dupe prior to her update in a year and a half.

I guess any arts servant since you managed to get Castoria. Personally, the ideal choice (other than who YOU love so no regrets is to choose a story locked servant since they're somewhat limited. So, check from there. Then I guess an AOE over a ST NP since the game is mostly farming)

Going with saber alter so I can have her at np 5, been chasing that fifth unit for a while

Big important question. Between Saber Alter and Astraea, who has the better interlude/valentines event? I want them both equally, so I'm using that as a decider. Then again, I have too many sabers.

I don't fully understand why that matters. I'm in the lostbelts, so,im pretty sure she's unlocked by now. Therefore, that doesn't have any impact here.

Yu Mei-ren was the one I wanted. I don't care that my Artoria Alter is under leveled at 80 with np1, she still is great for me in farming and I didn't have Yu on my na account

The answer is "no" But a long way of explaining is like "mostly no; given that most 4*s are getting outclassed by whatever 5* you are using for either farming or challenge content you will likely gain more value out of filling a hole in your account and also considering this upcoming Anniversary gives SQ based on the amount of fully Ascended units you have you will largely get more bang for your buck by going for a new unit. That being said if Luvia is your main dps she's strong enough to rival 5*s so i can NP levels for her being worth it."

Yeah this is sort of a per person decision. A lot of the time it comes down to if you prefer an expanded roster or a deeper one. Sometimes spending habits can be the deciding factor, other times personal taste. If you feel like you need a better carry though there's nothing wrong with going for more NP lvls of a unit you really like or use a ton.

Debating between NP2ing Salter or getting a character I don’t have yet. I love collecting, but once Salter gets buffed she’ll a be top tier farmer

Ngl still wished they made Chiyome’s damage mod against anything that got cursed stacked instead could’ve really made her amazing whenever she gets that chance but eh I’m still if it didn’t still wished it did though and if I remember the damage mod stack got with the someone over in jp?

I used the 5 star selector back then to summon Tamamo to burn her as a ritual to pull Koyanskaya, didn't get her lmao. Can't wait to commit another atrocity.

I will probably take Chiyome or Diamund. I have allready most of the servants. So, it make sense to take one, to increase the np lvl. Chiyome is in focus, because she is my main assasine (but, I use her rarely, because she is ST, and you rarely meet single riders). Diamund would only be favor, for having a other St Saber. But, make lesser sense. Because I have allready np5 Saber Lancelot. Most of the others looks to make lesser sense to. Because I have allready most roles filled with someone. Adding new servants, with low np lvl, to the roster don’t look so useful.

Finally I can have an np2 salter woooo

ello! does anyone have any recommendations on who to pick? am getting s.ibuki when her banner comes around (saved 900+ sq) and I feel like I need more offensive units? especially to clear the main quest (I have tamamo caster and koyan of light, I have been using my friend's units for dmg but when it comes to being forced to use the guest servant, it becomes really hard for me) I watched the video and the units that stood out to me were: salter, lancer alter, astolfo(cuz it's astolfo), gilgamesh, caster of okeanos, nitocris, carmilla, tamamo cat (just cuz it's tamamo), heracles, and astrea (the recommended unit doesnt have to be from this list, I just wanna have a unit that can help me clear the main quest in the future 🙏)

@@Lynn3Ember I would suggest that thing holding you back the most based on what you've written is using gatcha 4-5 stars regardless of if they're the best option or not. Koyan of Light is a farmer or someone you bring to end min/max(end a fight as qucikly as possible). Once you use up her skills she drops off massively. A friend's Merlin and Mash as an example would much better in any fight longer 3 or 4 turns because Merlin is designed for boss fights as is Mash. Hans is also a great servant for boss fights as are Leniodas, Saint George, Cu Lancer, etc. Caster Tamano is boss fight support servant but unless you end it quickly there's no point bringing Koyan. Regardless Astraea would probably be the best for hard fights in the short term. She destroys evil enemies and against most non evil enemies she's pretty good. Unless you're facing Avenger you can bring her to do a job at the absolute minimum. Like 40-50% of bosses are evil. Forget staying alive long just keep NP and she'll pretty much delete anyone who's evil. Use like David to dodge an NP or something like that but you shouldn't have to face too many before the enemy is dead. In the long term Herc but that might take months or even over a year for you to pay off because he only gets absolutely insane when he gets his bond CE. He's alright before that.

@ARandomGuy24 you got me haha, I did try using cu chulainn lancer, ushiwakamaru, and some other units but I run out of resources quite fast so I'm trying to save them for units that might be better. I'm still relatively(?) new(?) so I'm not sure what units are really good σ(^_^;) so, going back to the question, what 4 star would you recommend for the upcoming ticket? (and 1,2,and 3 stars if youre willing to share as well 🙏)

Guess I'll go with gorgon since no one of her rare futur banner interest me.

I'm selecting Gorgon. She's the only other 4 star on the roster i don't have, the other being Salter that'll have a banner soon.

I'm thinking I'll pick Sith; main problem is that even though she's on a lot of banners, she always (to my knowledge) shares a banner with Barghest in an era where SR solo rateups on shared banners are extinct. Now, I like Barghest, but when one is NP7 and the other is NP3....

No point in using your ticket on baobhan sith or barghest. Banner with them and castoria on rate up drops the same day

Been playing FGO JP for a while now and deciding to reroll a global account with Castoria, so i'll probably end up picking my girl Nero so i can finally have her on one of my accounts lol

i chose Baobhan because i want to complete my british lostbelt collection

For me it's between Salter cause I got her Np4 or someone I don't have like Astolfo

36:26 but she doesnt have party oriented side like tristan does. Do not bully poor girl, she has party wide evade like tristan and on the same cooldown as him, on top of that she has np seal and skill seal.

Oh I get that, and I may have come across wrong while rambling (sorry it is a long video and I was doing all of this off the top of my head), my take was more that Bao is a bit more challenge and solo focused than him. And trust me there's no bully, she was one of the Archers I recommended at the very end.

Only servant I dont have is Percival but I'll probably go for NP2 Faker
