Also, Ang learned seismic sense from Toph, which you can see when Ozai was about to attack Ang when his back was turned, and then we see that seismic sensing visual that we see when Toph fights in her debut episode called The Blind Bandit. We also see Ang training with seismic sensing in the episode called The Runaway, when he was sparring against both Kartara and Toph.

Not Kyoshi tho. Kiyoshi literally didn't know she was the Avatar until the last minute. She literally had a few weeks to learn it all, learn to bend all the elements at the same time, and even learn airbending without a master. Kyoshi had to learn airbending by applying firebending discipline. Besides, Aang was only a master of air and water up until the end of his comic run. Kuruk canonically is the only bending master of all four elements.

Aang wasn't spiritually advanced at all when his true nature and well being as the Avatar he had No entire clue. What Ruko explained to Aang about the Avatar states Powers, that the powers of the Avatar state was Came from pastlives including the Powerboost and knowledge,skills etc. however the reality was that pastlives aren't actually the sources of powerboost but it's from a spirit 'Raava' the 'Avatar Spirit' the Primary source of powerboost while the pastlives gives the skills, knowledge and wisdom. What Ruko said to Aang is kind'a true but false at thesame time about the nature of the Avatar state, Cuase the avatar state Is Raava not the pastlives, while is indeed spiritually avatar he isn't the most advanced cuase he doesn't know everything and anything about Raava at all. The most spiritual Avatar would be Korra and Wan given that Wan was the first Avatar he knows their well being just like Korra.

5:30 yangchen wasnt an avatar during an era of peace, she forced an era of peace. yangchen was born into a time of extreme divison with the platinum affair and the war almost going into a total war. she quite literally solved this and ushered the world into generations of peace. she also neglected the spiritual world because of complications with spirits taking her sister and tormenting her. and yes by actual feats due to the novels she's one of the strongest characters in the verse (sonic screams/soundbending, ability to remove air from a room, extremely potent healer. etc) she was 15 when she fought old iron, only a year older than aang, and she did it alone.

I would argue avatar szeto was one of the strongest benders on the list. We saw that an older Roku struggled to deal with a volcano, whereas szeto was casually causing 3 to erupt with his lava bending out of the avatar state. Definitely underrated

If nothing but rocks can do that to a volcano imagine what a avatar could do, bro just needs to poke it and it’d erupt, where as stoping an eruption much much harder

Fun fact: Kyoshi wasn't a natural. She is a powerful bender by any means but always had trouble with bending because of her lack of control, but she had to learn the elements quickly. In a faster and sooner pace than Aang.

Ozai wasn't the most powerful fire bender ever. His brother, Iroh was more powerful than him, so was Azulon his father. In fact, I'd argue that a fully grown Azula would beat him. Both Azulon and Azula were renound fire bending prodigies that mastered the art to such a perfect level they had blue flames. And Iroh was not only a legendary fire bending master (known as the last dragon) but also was tought the secret of the fire bending art by the dragons. Ozai is powerful, but not as skilled as the people I mentioned.

If Aang would have never went into that iceberg, not only would he have probably lived longer than Kioshi but he could have mastered all of the Sub-bending elements as well. Then he would be immortal and unstoppable.

I'm not sure if Korra can blood, lighting or magma bend but she was taught metelbending, energybending and Spiritbending, so it is possible she could learn the others too. Plus as the Avatar, each new version should be stronger then the last one because the knowledge is passed on to the next Avatar anyway!

And we are talking about adult Aang who we never seen metal bending or spirit bending. Even if their stats were the same, Korra would have more variety and abilities then Aang. And that does not even including that each avatar seems canonically stronger than the previous incarnation feat wise!

No offense but this is a very bad list. As much as I love Aang, his power pales compared to other Avatars, who have way better feats: 1) Korra: Not only she is fused with a bigger and more powerful Raava than previous Avatars, but also defeated Vaatu (fused with Unalaq), stopped a city lvl blast from Kuvira Mecha, and can use metalbending, spiritbending and heal. 2) Kyoshi: In base she survived a lighting bolt to her spine, while Azula almost ended Aang with a similar attack. Also using the avatar state created Kyoshi island. 3) Yangchen: As a teenager and without the Avatar state she fought Old Iron to a draw, while Aang in the comics needed the avatar state to clash with him. Also in her 1st novel Yangchen easily beats 3 combustion benders with airbending only, while Aang couldn´t do much against combustion man.

Ang learned how to take away bending, nothing is more powerful than that. The fact that he has to beat you in order to do it also makes home the most powerful.

Most of the list is right. But Kyoshi is number 1. You point out yourself how she creates and island. Before she had any formal training she brought a mountain down by accident. Precision didn't come easily to her but that doesn't mean she never learned it later, not to mention with power like that (basically the earthbending equivalent of fire lord Ozai's power during the commet, except not limmited to a celestial event or any limmited amount of time... Kyoshi, Wan, Roku should be above Korra. Korra was weak/nerfed to prolong the story. If the second season was the last, then I think Korra would have been undisputably the strongest Avartar we have seen...but after the second season...she was vastly too underwhelming to put her above any of the aforementioned avatars. She literally struggles with ordinary benders as an adult, soldiers or not...she had the avatar state in the bag and was supposed to be a master in her own right but still got fodderized by the likes of Kuvira and the other airbending guy...Kuvira couldn't even face Toph, and Roku literally humiliated the The Fire Lord Sozin...

Thats kinda like the thing of korra story she is ''nerfed' cuz of traumas or post fight effects like the mercury poisoning to grow her as a character, she is the strongest probably after season 4 ending but during season 3 or mid of season 4 she is kinda lacking that power probably because of powercreeping, i would say if she used her full powers like season 2 they would just have to create stupidly overpowered enemies which isnt a good idea

Kyoshi can break an island , aang can handle fire strong as a hundred suns from Ozai sozin comet fire amplifier. So aang in his prime solos

Adult Aang was probably a master of all 4 elements, but 12-13 yr old Aang was just An air bending master who was proficient in the other 3 elements. Maybe slightly better at earth than water due to Toph being arguably THE best earth bender next to Bumi, & least proficient in fire since he had less time to work on that element

@@montrejr see he wasn't talking about his time cause he was referring to the whole franchise and the youngest air nomad was jinora and secondly he never said anything about adult Aang it's basically what we see him do in the show he was talking about he never mastered any elements except air cause he was an air bending master aside it he only learned it as ai what we saw in the show ....

Aang didn’t completely master all elements but in less than a year beat the fire lord I repeat comet fire lord ozai with little skills in fire and advanced skills in earth while only mastering water and air. Oh at 12 years old. He is 12 years old. Mastered the avatar state master of energy bending and also learned seismic sense from toph. Ending a 100 year war while the fire nation is at its peak. Aang is the most powerful bender to ever exist. Point blank and period.

I still think Korra and Kiyoshi stronger than Aang. Kiyoshi power wise while Korra as overall avatar. Aang feat is beating Ozai under sozin commet and mastered all elements within a year but as overall avatar, Korra is definitely stronger

I mean they’re all the same spirit, why wouldn’t they just all be equally strong?

I would put Kora lower she honestly got whooped a lot in the show especially by the main villains

I don’t care what anyone else on this planet says I will always stand by Korra & Aang being the best avatars.

To be honest what the past avatars has achieved was Pale in comparison to what Korra does and Achieved during her lifetime with just her Raw powers. Korra completely redirected the Full Override Energy Blasts from kuvira's mech. The energy Blasts that Korra bends from kuvira Blasts was connected to thousands of spirit vines making the canon energy Blasts much powerful to kuvira's mech versions. Korra singlehandedly bend the overrides energy Blasts from the mech alone with Just her Raw power with no Assistance from the pastlives. What Korra does just herself was beyond the past Avatars skills. The last Avatars feats aren't even close to Korra.

I stand by Korra being the best Avatar for one simple reason that I believe supercedes any other issues. The avatar's overall mission is to bring balance into the world. Korra was the first Avatar to bring the spirit world and the earthly realm back in harmony, thus fulfilling the TRUE purpose of the Avatar. That makes her the best if you ask me, but I'll admit it's an opinion.

Koyoshi is definitely the strongest

everyone talking about kiyoshi which i agree she is the most powerful but kuruk is underrated he should be in 4th or 3rd either above korra or right below, he stopped every evil spirit from attacking the main world and still lived to be considered a good/great avatar

Aang isn’t more powerful than Korra. She had far stronger enemies than Aang ever fought. Just saying because he mastered all elements in a year doesn’t make him stronger. If you want to get technical he didn’t really master firebending before he went up against Ozai. Korra mastered all 3 elements at a young age and trained under white lotus masters since she was a child. Then mastered air bending before the series ended.

@@joshuawawoe4814 No he wouldn’t have. Korra’s enemies were far stronger than Aangs enemies. If you literally switch there enemies, Aang is losing. While if Korra had to face all of Aang’s villains she would win easily.
