Yeah, they did him dirty. He's actually really good and I think they relegated him to a kinda joke character because he's a monkey. The only character that really sucks out of the 5 is the Crane, Imo. I don't remember seeing him do much of anything impressive in the 1st movie other than fly.

In kung fu panda 4 he now beat the chameleon who absorbed the skills of every powerful kung fu master in history. Theres a reason oogway chose him. Po has surpassed oogway in every way other than being the spiritual leader as he just started.

They did Kai dirty in the new movie and honestly the chameleon isn’t that strong without her magic

I mean that is the point, she is weak in Kung Fu but decided to focus all of her time on sorcery. That is why she is the weakest main villain in the Kung Fu panda movies so far. She barely was a threat, Po was able to take her down easily even after absorbing all the past villains Kung fu. But it is hard to say since there is obviously a time skip so Po has gotten a lot stronger over the years.

She wasn't even strong with her magic and the stolen chi of the masters. She just sucked all around. They just didn't spend enough time developing her. You could see a real threat with all of the other characters Po has dealt with over the years. They just missed the bar with her. She could've been awesome!

i don't agree with chameleon being above kai whether it is peak power or base power (even tho we know very little of Kai strength without the Chi of the masters).. at Peak power he's deffinitely have way better feats than the Chameleon, and he was defeated by a much more powerful form of Po

Not sure if I agree with this list but still was enjoyable

I agree with everything but po and oogway. I think oogway has stronger chi do to unlocking perfect inner peace while po still has some mastering of chi to do.

But even in the third movie he implies Po would outgrow him by the end (he says to Kai "It was never my destiny to defeat you, I have set another on that path")

Po is stronger than Oogway. Remember that when Kai absorbs Oogway chi, he can take it, he can handle all of his power. When he tries to take Po’s, he explodes due to the overwhelming power. If he can hold Oogway power and not Po’s, that means Po’s stronger.

He already had two strong kung fu master's chi, it was flooding his body and taking po's was his limit. If he gave up Oogway's chi he would have been able to sustain po's chi which is why oogway was fine with being captured cause it almost definetely guaranteed Po's victory. That's my speculation that i think makes sense, if you disagree thats understandable.

I think Charmeleon should be downscaled below Kai. Yes she absorbed his chi or whatever that yellow energy is, but that was without him collecting the chi of every master in the spirit realm. Charmeleon took the chi of everyone minus Oogway and therefore the 10 mins she had those abilities she would be the strongest, but Kai also had Oogway’s Chi too and the chi of several masters in the mortal realm.

No way you Put Chameleon in 3rd place after she went down in 2 hits 💀

@@Ebh55. No. Cause that was BASE Kai, not Kai in his prime. He didn’t have the chi power of the other Kung Fu Masters or his Jade Blades. He didn’t just have the power of everyone in the Spirit Realm,(Oogway included) but he also had the power of almost everyone in the mortal realm. Chameleon only has the power of everyone in the spirit realm(Oogway not included) she didn’t have the power of anyone in the mortal realm. Also, Po and Zhen defeating the Chameleon isn’t bad writing, it’s to showcase how strong Po is in his base form and how strong Zhen can be if she becomes the new Dragon Warrior.

How did the Chameleon teach Zhen kung fu if she didnt know kung fu herself and needed the kung fu of other masters? plot hole

Master Rhino was shot directly where as tigress wasn't,cannon was more pointing at ground so it was more like splash damage to all of them.If it wasn't it whould have been game over for her.If we aren't comaring them with cannon Rhino has lot more defense then her(she only has high defense in arms,in 3 movie she felt pain when shoot by arrow,not saying i whouldn't)

But again I agree with you when he become master of Chi I think they want to make us understand how he finally surpassed the master of all the masters oogway. You cannot only go by feat for example we don’t see Odin do shit in Marvel movies because we see him already old and dying but they tell you that when he was young he was stronger than Thor or as strong as him at least. (Random example with the MCU becaue is popular and many people can understand it).

Really like how they did Shen's fighting style.

Ain’t no way chameleon is stronger that Kai… Kai solos everyone on this list except for Oogway and Po he could easily defeat every Kung Fu master so he could easily solo the chameleon.

You forgot to mention - Li Shan also faced off against Shen and the wolves to help Po's mother escape Crane>Viper IMO Shen can be higher up, he didn't just "hold his own" against the two, he beat them. In 11 seconds. Chameleon needs to be SO MUCH lower, Zhen has more skill and understanding of kung fu than her.

Please make one where it is just fighting and no magic. And if Tai Lung isn’t up there in the top 3, something went extremely wrong.

This list should be the powerful characters rather than best fighters as I think that the chameleon and lord shen are more dangerous due to one being a soccerer and another having explosive weapons, not their fighting. One more thing, where are the characters from the TV series??

What Po needed to prove him self as is that he is more than just a Dragon Warrior, and a Kung Fu master but that he is everything that makes 'him' him.

I am pretty sure kai s stronger than the chameleon bcs even thougth she can use and copy his kung fu teqniques she can t his abilities like being inmortal,stealing people s chi and blades And lets do not remember that Kai lost only bcs he had so many chi he literraly vanished after that

Po, was chosen to be a dragon warrior, because technically he was the one who brought the furious five together, because, just like Po, these five masters of the furious team of warriors were not on Shifu's list of warriors; The List of Warriors and the Grocery list got switched when Po and Shifu bumped into each other the first night they were that close to meeting, Oogway would always deny that his choices have been nothing but a chain of coincidences. It was sheer coincidence that Po could do a perfect split when he was seen to have trouble getting out of the split. The night that student and surviving master bumped into each other really was an accident, that accident that set off a 3rd chain of coincidences, the first chain was set off by Oogway himself, the second chain was set off by Lord Shen; I have seen a special episode of "Kung Fu Panda" that explains the first almost four lines of this comment.

Oogway at is still #1. Everyone says why did oogway get captured then. Well because like he said it wasn't him who was supposed to stop him. This fight made PO stronger that's why it had to happen. Oogway let himself get captured so PO could unlock more potential.

In Legends of Awesomeness, despite it not being canon anymore, we seen him defeat the members of the original Five when proving he is worthy on the quest. He appears to be one of the descendants of those ancient King Fu Pandas who instructed Oogway himself.
