Charles tats are a good example of well done meaningful tats. He wanted to tell a story of the important things and what he loves most an slapped it right on his body. Some people get tattoos that mean something but just dont hit the mark of also looking pretty clean

It's like a pride thing. When they step into the octagon, they wear their family name on their sleeve (in some cases literally). If you want to commit to a tattoo you know you won't outgrow, your last name is a good bet.
