I am not all out fan for Sonic and Flash since i know facts i happen to find out on the internet or using Death Battle. *ahem Since Super Emrald was shatter, the timeline jumped into diffrent course of action and fight we were viewing started to decay. And since Wally Flash can control his own molecules, vibrate in frequencies that normally wouldn't know and shatter the Emrald so he wouldn't be invicible as a Super Sonic, started to kill him in many diffrent universe and timelines until he ceased to existence.

@@Skynetbear Correction as Wally made Archie Sonic experience every second of his life before disintegrating like those images were taken from various Archie Sonic Comics. It wasn’t every Sonic incarnation as the cast pointed out that it was specifically Archie Sonic’s existence.

It's a shame that Archie Sonic was canceled. It would have been insane to see if they'll ever adopt the Hyper form with all Super Emeralds.

Ultra was already the top dog in Archie. People confuse Hyper being stronger than Ulrra or Super. In the comics, Sonic used all 7 Super Emeralds to go Super. Furthermore, Ultra isn't related to Hyper. It doesn't come from the Super Emeralds. It comes from the Chaos Force. Mind you: Chaos Force>>>>>>Super Emeralds. Been doing it about a month. It undercuts people who just upload the fights (often passing the fights off as their own work), keeps the algorithm's attention, and gives them new (albeit recycled) videos while they're off season. If off season is half a year, that gives them seven years of weekly videos, not counting stuff from season 11 onwards.

Odd to reference the Speed Force. Yeah he would have lost without that, but that's because it's the main source of his power. I think. Maybe he creates it? Well either way it would be like Venom fighting but without a host body And in this battle I think he was more calling on the memory of those he loved to inspire him, to give him the strength to push through. @@Keii898 The fact that they used Mario kicking a castle from SMW as an actual feat and not some one off gag, or how they said he's faster than Sonic because he flew around on a slow star in Mario and Luigi Dream Team. They also said that because he used Cappy in Odyssey to take over one of those incredibly slow sparky enemies he can move and react at light speed. That was probably one of if not the worst death battles.

Ngl flash and sonic would LITERALLY BE THE BESTEST FRIENDS

A sacred tradition of heroes fighting each other in first meeting: "Let's You And Him Fight!"

The crew weren’t kidding when they said this was one of their most insane episodes up to that point. While it has been surpassed in that area throughout these past few seasons, this fight is still a blast to watch. The sense of speed is conveyed really well which is something you need to get right with these two, the music track goes absolutely crazy, and the banter and voice acting are a blast to listen to, for the most part. (COUGH) “I Wish You Gone!” (COUGH). Not to even mention the death which is one of the most mind numbingly crazy in the show’s history. While it’s not my favorite of Season 7 or episode for either franchise, this fight is an absolute joy to experience and definitely my favorite depiction of this rather infamous matchup.

Bruh, the way they nerfed Archie Sonic... for starters, Super Sonic is WAY stronger than Ultra Sonic (even though it doesn't really make sense name wise). In the Archie Comics, millions upon millions of Chaos Emeralds across the multiverse combined each other into just 7 Chaos Emeralds, which grant Super Sonic a power far beyond anything commensurable, while Ultra Sonic is only aquired with tons of ring energy or, before the emeralds combined, one Super Emerald.

It's the thing that ruin's the great movie/film/animated/live action renditions of Flash. The guy literally can think of the perfect thing to say or do at any moment because he has practically eternity to think about the situation, and it is hard to write around that without some form of retroactive continuity actions. The catch to being the Flash is, Barry has to wait for you to finish talking to him, unless you limit his access to the Speed Force, which is the first contradiction motion versions of him have to make in order to ease writing priorities. 🤷 You gotta see some of Barry's Comic Book feats!!

@@christophersmith2642according to death battle, it’s less that the form was superior and more of the fact that flash will always be faster than sonic due to him being able to steal speed, plus Sonic’s wish abilities are physical (which I don’t think that’s true) so flash can brute force through it. I’ll have to look at Archie sonic again but I’m pretty sure he’s completely independent from time altering things because he is the one true sonic or something like that. Aka he’d still live even if you killed his past self or any version of him. Theres other stuff too that weren’t completely true but it’s at least pretty good. I mean I don’t really know how you could actually end the battle realistically so I ain’t complaining about this

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your view), Flash is faster. Sonic can hit light speed, but only under very specific circumstances (light speed dashing along a line of rings) or after charging up (using Ancient Light to perform the Light Speed Attack). The Flash can hit speeds that are impossible to calculate, even if they're fairly new Flashes.

Regardless of who we wanted to win, we can all appreciate not only the animation quality but that MUSIC. Also I liked their little ego battle in the space part, with the white tracks.

Sonic real life should've won.

I think many ppl didn’t realize that since flash was running forward he technically went into the future to the moment his power ran out.

1:20 I guess you guys aren't true sonic fans because there's already so many mistakes. 1. "Sonic from paramount" 2. "a super emerald" 3. Transforming into super sonic with only 1 Chaos emerald after 1:20 mistakes: 1. What's that transformation/powerup supposed to be at 1:45 2. I don't recall sonic being an elemental force. 3. sonic uses chaos control but it's more like a kahmeha from DBZ 4. That ending is just dumb lesson here: Death battle doesn't fact check and made flash win because they favor him, also depending on which flash this is (Wally or Barry) they have some inaccuracies there too however I'm not that familiar with Flash.

I'm glad they're finally starting to upload the individual fight sequences themselves, but I still wish they did it earlier, because it's going to take over three years to upload all of them. And that's just the episodes they have done.

Most algorithm sounding title Death Battle have ever done.

Lol this video is very clearly sponsored in some way by Paramount because the original video didn't have that "Paramount Plus" in it and considering they just announced a Knuckles series it all lines up together. A true shame that Death Battle is joining the clan of not announcing their sponsors, at least in the video description.

It's all about writers and yeah the math never lies even wiz and boomstick analysis the scale of destruction in each speed, strength and intelligence but Flash is faster than Sonic because he go around the earth in 0.5 seconds equal the speed of Superman

So it's official, Sonic from the Paramount movies is identical to Archie, certaintly puts the events of those films into perspective

2:47- to the end is one of my favourite finishers. Hearing the music swell as Wally pulls one of the biggest power moves on the show before that incredible sound design when he smashes the emerald at 3:05 always gets me hyped.

Dudes I got it!!! I have been searching for a battle that had never been done that would also be epic and I have it!!! The shadow guard from Star Wars (Sith temple guards) vs the Jedi temple guards!!! Please do this I would kill to see it done accurately and you guys are the only ones I trust!

The real answer: It depends on the incarnation of the Characters. Not every Flash is the same just as not every Sonic is the same. In the case of Comic Wally West and Archie Sonic though, Flash is definitely faster, the speed force is just hacks. I say this as a lifelong Sonic fan.

Speed force is infinite speed. Sonic fought the guy who can stop time. When he stopped time, Sonic still moved and said "too slow". This means Sonic can move in 0 sec which is infinite speed feat. Super Sonic would be enough.

Agreed on Flash being faster than Sonic, especially when any of them would snatch it and add onto their own. Flash = Sonic's infinite speed + Speed Force. Wally = equal above + full speed force.

Like as in the character or the actual franchise? If it’s the former, then I can kinda understand that, but if it’s the latter, then that’s straight up false. They’re on a winning streak right now with Shadow finally getting a win by beating Ryuko, and Archie Silver beat Xeno Trunks in a fight after so many people thought that Silver was gonna lose that fight.

@@LuigiShellom365 This episode in particular was pretty bad for that case, Sonic barely got any hits in the entire fight, Super Sonic lasted a whole 20 seconds and did almost nothing. Ultra Sonic uses 2 powers, kicks Flash, gives off the worst line read possibly of the season. Then he just waits there like a dumbass until he dies. The animator didn't like Sonic

Fun fact: Silver is immune to being killed in the past with time travel because of all the time traveling he does, and theoretically because Sonic left the confines of time when the concept of time was erased along with everything else by the SGW... means he also has that immunity due to the higher feat. So this video did get it wrong. Just saying.

@@l0sts0ul89 that wouldn't work. If we're talking Archy super Sonic, that last till he's already dead. He's a chaotic anomaly. Meaning there is no way to beat him. In the comics Mammoth Mogul explains how he possess so much of the chaos force from rings that he's become a walking anomaly that isn't bound by fate, statistics, time, or anything else. He said that the best course of action to beat his is to just wait until he's done with living and start whatever evil plans after that. Because as long as he exists his will is essentially absolute. So if the flash waited, he'd have to wait until he's already dead. By then it isn't really a win in a fight. Like, lions have shorter life spans than humans, so I could wait until a lion dies of old age... but I can't beat a lion a hand-to-paw fight.

@@devlinmcguire7543 Too bad Flash ALSO does all of that 💀 Flash literally ran to the END OF TIME to escape DEATH because it can't exist there because well it's the end of time..., he ran faster than the Speed Force, a casual race with Barry was causing multiversal damage effecting even other higher dimensions (Dimensions in DC are just higher planes of existence, so its not like spacial aka width, length, time, etc)

Flash being able to even touch Archie Sonic is crazy 💀

sonic might be invincible with the chaos emeralds, but that may only be physical force and it was never tested with serious destructive power. and speed? which flash are we using? if you pick anything outside of the animations its not comparable. flash is a god of speed while sonic would be a human child.

Some of the Clips here are slowed and that's actually surprising because I didn't notice that until now

Flash is irrefutably faster but only comics version🤷‍♂️... Love how the only way the other character can win is when they magically have their instant power up item apear in front of them in these 🙄... Not like he could just steal his power again anyway but chooses not to because it would be over 🤦‍♂️ seems the writing is the biggest weakness of these characters

This is what I learned. Correct me if I'm wrong; Sonic puts up a REALLY good fight against Flash, but he doesn't have the ability to time travel. Time Travel was also shown to be accessible when moving at a fast pace. Conclusion: Flash Wins (Extreme-Insane Diff)

sonic literaly can time travel in multible games and medea, considering he only has 1 super emerald he should have more than enough chaos energy to at the verry least freeze time but these animations never actualy do enough research into the laws and limitations of how chaos energy and how any of the artifacts that allow one to use chaos energy work, its neat that they showd off ultra sonic i suppose but if both charecters are supposed to be at their maximum potential then he should really be hyper sonic with all seven super emeralds and possably the time stones and master emerald, or heck mabey evan the paradox prism, chaos rings, warp topaz or phantom ruby aswell, another thing i notaced is that midway through the animation they enter the special zone, a realm where pure chaos originates from, and yet not a single ring, energy sphere, or flicky to be found for sonic to super charge with
