@@bobbob-nj3ck Well yeah, there was no way that Ryuko would win, since she was fighting with a character that has more advantage against her, therefore, this fight was predictable, and boy does it make me sad that they only used Ryuko to break Shadow's losing streak. That is why one of the worst fights I have seen in Death Battle, since 2 characters fight that are not of the same category.

The fact that they featured the Sonic Twitter Takeover clip makes this victory SO MUCH MORE SWEETER!

Something to note. This is Shadow's only time taking off the Inhibitor Rings in all of Death Battle. He got impaled or vaporized the other times. If he'd taken those off before, he may have beaten Mewtwo, or even Vegeta.

@@SorenDaein Just throwing this out there- Omega was made to be above Gamma who already was comparable to Sonic and this was after SA2 meaning Omega had weaponry equal to at most- above the SA2 level of power and was made to literally stop to even eliminate Shadow who first instinct was keeping up with an on-par enemy. I vastly doubt mind-wiping Shadow mid-fight would do anything since it's common Sega Knowledge that Speed = Reflexes and Shadow would recognize the fight as fast as he did with Omega who scales pretty high as Mephiles stated he was made to take out Shadow in the Future and succeeded. Bio-Lizard also is a mindless and tortured creature yet at its lowest point of mental cognition- can still use Chaos Control, use attacks and recognize danger and that's what Shadow was designed to be superior against. Mewtwo would still be pushed back to even cornered by now- an unhinged Shadow who has abilities past SA2. Furthermore to cap out my coin into the hat- Black Doom essentially is comparable to Mewtwo to even above the pokemon with how his Mental Hax is able to re-create entire Memories as tangible Universes, manipulate most to potentially all of his Soldiers with the exception being the newborns which suck life-force from prey, and managed to bypass Shadow natural resistance to Mind Control via Chaos Energy. Shadow's memory of Maria broke Black Doom's control to the point where talking was no longer an option which led to the Final Battle. His feelings for Maria broke Genetic Coding and even allowed Shadow full control over Chaos Control without an Emerald during Rivals. Shadow has too many ways to negate Mind Hax to even ignoring Mind Hax to Mind Wiping. The Sega Cosmology has faced its fair share of Mind Control where Chaos Users were normally fine while also immune to Chaos Energy-Amp Mind Control with the exception being Dreamcast Characters weak to Chaos-Energy Amp while the Maincast Hedgehog and Robots were immune.

When Ryuko asked if Shadow's mommy packed his sword, I totally could've seen him saying, "says the one who got her's from arts and crafts"

The reason shadow became an hedgehog was because Gerald was an explorer who saw a mural on angel island of super sonic and was inspired. Bio lizard was his first attempt which failed and it was inspired by perfect chaos form mural in the lost temple from sa1. Which is why the ark starts to look like lost temple the closer you get to biolizard boss.

@@privatedino3239 Vegeta first went Super Saiyan in 1992 in the episode “The Might of Vegeta!!” While Shadow and his Super Shadow form was introduced in 2001, if you meant Sonic did it first, then yes, you’re correct, Sonic when super in 1991 in “Sonic the Hedgehog”

The attack that blew up the scissor blade was so good it left the suit itself speechless

The one thing they got wrong when scaling Ryuko and listing off her abilities was her transformations. After she completely bonded with Senketsu early on in the show, blood stopped being a requirement to keep Senketsu running. The only time Senketsu needed to take blood from her was when she transformed into the base Godrobe State.

I can only imagine Shadow coming into the winner's circle and seeing Mewtwo and Vegeta.

Look wei, this was an unfair fight, and it is one of the w0rst in history, and really, Shadow's victory was not worth it, it was pure (the word that I won't be able to use, starts with C). For this fight along with others, I consider Death Battle season 8 the w0rst of this year.

Yeah, Super forms were originally based from Super Saiyan, but that didn't matter because copyright issues weren't a problem back in the early 90's.

Also shadow is stronger, faster and arguably more versatile than Ryuko's most powerful form in BASE. Her only advantage is her overhype healing factor which doesn't matter cuz death battle chooses the combatant who has more advantages.
