I love that this whole thing started because Korra destroyed an iceberg.😂 This was a pretty intense fight, actually. The choreography was incredible too. Definitely one of my favorites. And it's another reason why Storm will always be my favorite X-man.

Kind of an odd pick for one of these "fight only" videos. It's visually a treat and got some cool moments, sure (Storm's monologue in the Spirit World is one of my favorite character moments in the show), but this is definitely one of those ones where the stellar character rundowns make the episode.

And it's crazy to think that Storm has only gotten more powerful since this was released.

Death battle Suggestion: I was thinking maybe a battle between water element users: Katara and Juvia! (Avatar vs Fairy Tail). It would be an amazing fight to the finish!

Now imagine if Korra and Storm just hung out and became friends with each other. Storm can definitely relate to the struggles Korra has to deal with being a protector of world peace like the Avatar.

It’s the other side of the Death Battle coin. Goku and Superman would spar, but be friends. Wonder Woman and Thor would have a healthy punchy rivalry friendship. Storm, as an educator, would do everything in her power to nurture Korra while telling her like it is. But it’s Death Battle. So they kill. 😓 And then sometimes Frieza kills Megatron while Sweet Tooth and Joker explode.

​@@handey1being human and mutant is far from the only difference between them. Storm has beaten far more powerful and deadly enemies than Korra, sbe would beat her easily because she has no counters.

Must be a challenge having done this for years and having to find interesting match ups you haven't done yet. Maybe put up some far more unknown characters up against more well known ones. Books especially don't get covered much here. Would love to see a match-up against an allomancer from Mistborn for example.

Storm is much older, stronger and has learned WAY MORE than Korra ever has. Storm can also out-do her eith lightning and she has been known to make friggen LAZORS out of it that can cut through damn near anything. So yeah, i agree eith her winning. Im sure some with not agree but this is just a nerds humble opinion lol

The very reson why Storm stomps Korra in this fight is not just because Storm is significantly more powerful, but also because she excels at long range combat and has the means to effectively and consistently force Korra into such a situation where she has the advantage. While Korra has superiority in melee combat, and can potentially defeat Storm if she she can reliably get her into a more confined area and keep her there, Storm has enough expertise in that to at least keep up just in case Korra got close enough, which is pretty unlikely to happen since Storm's superior speed and attack power make her suitable for hit and run tactics to kite Korra similar to a horse archer Parthian shooting a master martial artist, rendering any advantage Korra has useless.

@@Keith_Norman Looking it over she gets about 4 hits in and spends the rest of the time trying not to die. Storm doesn't get that many hits in, because the animation makes sure to show how massive the divide in outright power is when Storm actually tries.

While far from one of the standouts of Season 8, this is still a pretty well done fight. The visuals look stunning, the characterization (for the most part) is done well, and the track is one of the most underrated instrumental tracks in the show. Though it isn’t without its problems. Such as how, to make it seem like Korra stands even the slightest chance, they make Storm only hit her three times or how from what I’ve heard, Korra acts more like her season 1 throughout the fight. Though aside from those complaints, this battle is still a pretty solid entry from one of the best seasons of the show.

This fight is SERIOUSLY underrated. I really like it! Also, Korra awakening Raava is the highlight for me.

To keep us entertained since we're not getting any Death Battle videos for several months. Also because a lot of people like to watch just the fights by themselves while a lot of KZreadrs post just the fights by themselves so this is probably their way of getting other KZreadrs to stop doing that.

I have to assume that this body builder version of Storm is... modern marvel. Animation and voice acting's a bit rough, but kinda cool.

Man, imagine that with current comics Storm... this fight would be significantly shorter

Korra is good i give her credit where its due But Storm nearly on a daily bases nearly on a daily bases keeps her self in check before she destroys everything. The weather plus the elements are not to be taken lightly. Storms has more juice and more experience then Korra. Who in my opinion is the weakest Avatar.
