Working behind the jump, customers seem to think we are cracking on to them because we smile at them every time they come to the bar. Perhaps all hospitality staff should frown at all customers to avoid this delusion.

For once I have a good story for this: My mom was a substitute teacher at an elementary school and was a long term sub for a teacher for reasons I can not remember. One day she approached a student and asked "Why are you not turning in your homework?" The student " I don't have to do homework, because I am going to the NBA." Then she just let it go after that. Then some years later she was picking up my sister from High School and noticed someone she recognized, it was that same student getting taken away in handcuffs. Seeing this, she says to herself "look at those NBA dreams now"

My stepfather believes that the song "Who Let The Dogs Out" is about him because, during his time in prison, he and his friends were referred to as "the dogs."

I have an older sister with paranoid schizophrenia and extreme narcissistic tendencies as well as being a textbook Karen. Everything is abuse and argument, and she tells you to stop doing she will do later or has dine.

My friend was this way (i say was because were not friends anymore). The problem Started after he went off the deep end because of a relationship that ended in highschool. He talked obsessively for hours about her and than bad mouthed her boyfriend (another friend of mine). We were having internet games when someone said she's engaged. He excused himself than hear him have a mental breakdown crying and breaking things. (Later posts about losing loved ones). We all decided to log off and never talk to him again.

I do not think I have ever heard a less appealing combination of words than "Bleach Enema"... These are just two terms that never seem to meet in the wild, and we should absolutely keep it that way! God help us all...

My old next-door neighbor. Two words: covert. narcissist. If she wasn't fishing for your pity or support, she was treating you like dirt she stepped in or worse, openly antagonizing you, and then acting like the victim when her actions had consequences. In the few months I knew her, she was fired from two jobs, burned through dozens of friendships and professional relationships, got scolded by our landlord all because a half dozen of our neighbors had complained about her behavior, and, craziest of all in my opinion, got kicked of her Sunday school class (she's Baptist, so adults have Sunday school too) and, eventually, was asked not to come back to the church at all by the pastor. On every occasion the reason given to her was that she treated the person/people at that institution poorly, but she'd always claim they had some secret, hidden motivation that was beyond her control (racist, jealous of her education, fatphobic, ageist etc.). Usually she'd express that there was some evil, younger woman who had turned other people at the institution against her, too, so I kind of wonder if she was dealing with some internalized misogyny. I had a month-to-month lease thank goodness, and I ended up moving just to get away from this woman. No idea what happened to her and I don't care to know.

My biological fathers gross girlfriend. Apparently I was demon spawn despite being a quiet, well-behaved nerd who graduated high school with a 3.5 GPA. She called my sister fat even though she doesn't even have a waist and probably weighs over 300 pounds. She spent her time hoarding, including pets (there was 23 when I got kicked out, mostly reptiles), and only showered once a week but this narcissist thought she was the best thing since sliced bread.

That last one. Getting divorced and on the finalization day the worst person isn't your to be ex or their lawyer.

Comment not related to anything in particular but watching this channel made me realize two things: games make me lose my braincells (especially ones like this) and I absolutely NEED to buy Forza.

Well, I don't know her anymore because I cut contact with her a decade ago but I once knew this self-proclaimed actress, writer and producer who thought that everyone would believe her just because she said so. Her resume was pure fiction. Her attitude was vile. The way she treated everyone was beyond unprofessional and she thought she could get whatever she wanted just by demanding it. So, your basic Karen only we didn't have that meme back then. This lady treated everyone like they were just convenient options in the movie that was her life in which she was the only star. She had no respect for boundaries, zero regard for the word no being a complete sentence and nothing resembling accountability. Nothing was off-limits. She had no ethics, no morals, no principles and what align herself with the disreputable individual ever if they had a resource that she coveted and wanted to exploit. To make a long story short, living life in such a manner that she did, she ended up making a lot of enemies. Myself included. She broke a series of laws regarding me and my intellectual property. She committed fraud, specifically left of intellectual property, plagiarism and copyright infringement against me. Adding insult to injury, she was totally unrepentant and tried to explain everything away when I busted her. I crucified her, metaphorically speaking and she became a laughingstock. Never screw with someone who knows their rights.

An old friend of mine had a crazy religious aunt who believed God sent her dreams that showed the future. Despite the fact that none of these dreams ever came true. My friend’s other aunt believed that she was an “ex-lesbian” and God had cured her of her gay thoughts. Which is pretty sad, to say the least.

The claim that only people who know the Lord water their grass is . . . not my experience around here. I'm surrounded by Christian churches in a Bible Belt state, mostly Baptist. (There are like three within a 30-minute walk, and I stopped counting how many I drive past since moving here.) I'm also surrounded by lush green lawns that no human bothers to water. Ever. So it seems people who know the Lord actually don't water their grass. Or maybe it's just climate.

A woman who was once a dear friend and I split up over our differing views on religion. I am Christian, pretty devout, she is ex Christian and a pagan. She made sarcastic remarks about Jesus being a myth. But this woman honors Isis, an Egyptian goddess.

I think Biden is better because on some level he actually cares (yes, I just said a politician cares. I know that sounds silly, but even the smallest amount of care trumps well, trump in my eyes so…)

@@jonahulichny9874 I would agree that between the two, Biden entered politics long ago as he did care, at that time. Trump entered for his ego lol. But overtime I believe that aspect of Biden was buried deeper and deeper under the need for power and money and control. So at some level, Biden might actually care. But it's buried so deep, and so far in the past, to effectively no longer exist.
