Apparently everyone here watches too much Narcos and KZread. As a person that lived in Colombia during the height of the drug cartels "Cocaine prosperity" was a real thing and almost everyone involved in and around the cartels had their standard of living raised. Money flowed into the country and everything expanded, housing, cars shopping malls , hotels and business grew from the profits. The illegal activity gave rise to a legitimate economy in Colombia. The other aspect that is not discussed is how corruption helped the cartels become big and successful, without the help of law enforcement and politicians nobody would have ever heard of the Medellin, Cali or Mexican Cartels.

Most of the human population have strong sociopath and authoritarian tendencies. The people fighting for humanity and truth are in the minority. Societies are dominated by mafia code of ethics where treason and betrayal is sanctioned. Escobar was a psychopath and serial killer. Most people support making drugs illegal because they are authoritarian. They are the real support structure for the drug traffickers and associated criminality. .They refuse to learn the lesson on failure of Prohibition. Like all psychopaths, they are popular among the voters. Any goodness that he done was about manipulating people . The largest political party in this world is the Sociopath Party.

A murderer that send to kill 500 policemans,it's nothing to glorify, he give house to the poor that is something to applause, but those people the childrens turns cicarios (killers) for Pablo Escobar, that is something bad, a house and you turn my son in a killer some of them die and others finished in jail. I mean the house that is great nobody in Colombia give house to the poor. He was very smart but he used his intelligence for poison the youth of the gorld and damaged the country with corruption and terror , killing inocent people.
Drug business will not end because people involve are earning big money it will only end if there's no more drug addicts
Never understood why people use actors on movies and tv shows to show a well known person. When you can show footage of the actual person and not an actor. Thanks for the video though

It’s Colombia not Columbia! Nice video. I think you would like putting together something for the cali cartel which has depth and is an unique story ( may have started b4 Pablo) that also has a hand in shaping the third most known cartel from Colombia “ cartel Norte Del Valle. Mind you that Los Caballeros de cali also helped and took part with the bloque de busqueda (Col Gov’t mixed with guerrilla army’s and cali cartel) to capture or kill Escobar.
