Carolina coops needs an Aquascape certified contractor to build water features to go with all of the coops! Image a pondless stream for chickens .... or a deep creek for ducks and geese....i really think you need to do Catios and home aviaries!!!!!

I saw the beginnings of this from CC a while back - makes me want geese just to build this cute house. Still waiting for the vid on the custom coop using the burned wood Japanese technique (Shou sugi ban)

I need a torch so I can try to burn wood without igniting it... "tool envy" is now another thing.

Poultry r clannish. White chickens run with white, beige stay with beige, my ducks stayed with their breed... but if theres 1 brown & 1 gray they will sometimes buddy up. I had 1 goose of different breed who hung with my odd chickens

Interesting, that hasn't been our experience. More often the age of the birds (how they were introduced to the flock) determines their cliques. But chickens always break the rules. Thanks for watching

_Birds of a feather flock together_ is a saying for a reason! I have witnessed the same in many species and there's nothing wrong with it!
